Staff is helpful and patient, facilities are clean and well kept. The outside seems to be clean as well, even though it's a larger parking lot. Ordered for pick up. Easy location to find. Located in a plaza with shared parking that can be busy but there's a lot of spaces. They had some chairs/tables inside. I ordered the most basic of the sandwiches and it was great. Lots of meat, and sweet peppers. It was like eating a sloppy joe tho. The filling wouldnt stay in the bread so I kept having to scoop it back into the bread, meat has lots of flavor and cheese is gooey. Get lots of napkins and a fork or spoon. I have ordered food from the Pleasanton location many, many times over the last few years and never had any issues with the quality or freshness of the food but tonight our sides of onion rings and garlic fries were of extremely poor quality. We ordered a large order of the onion rings and all of them were except for one of the rings were burned and almost blackened. Additionally, our order of garlic fries were way overcooked and extremely dry, which is not normal for Cheesesteak Shop. The sandwiches were fine. I am extremely upset that I paid good money for food that was subpar and almost inedible, and no longer trust getting anything other than the cheesesteak sandwiches from this location. This was all cooked with onions and I added the peppers to it. It was the perfect Philly cheesesteak sandwich in my opinion. I always order the curly fries because they do have a kick to it and with ketchup it is fantastic, no other fast food restaurant can match their curly fries.
