The pizza here isn't as flavorful as the slices I've had at other locations, plus this Patxi's is the most expensive location I've come across. The service is nice and helpful, aside from the time my server dropped my slice on the counter, caught it with her hand, then asked if I wanted to keep the food. The question in itself baffled me so much I didn't dispute sending it back, I cut around where she touched and tried to eat the pizza. I still got sick though
We did a half and half option. Before they allowed the 12" as a half and half option, but yesterday they said we had to purchase the 14" We knew we couldn't finish it but that was the only option for the half and half The pizza was amazing omg the bbq chicken was great I want to come back but wish they would honor the 12" half
First time here even though we live pretty close. The food prices were decent but the taste was too salty. We ordered a pizza and the soup and salad combo. Everything was too salty. We also had a dessert Stromboli and it was horrendous... I won't order that again. It took a long time to prepare and it looked and tasted gooey and gross. Service by the staff was good and they had Tv with sports channels
solid deep dish! the special is very delicious with thin sausage and veggies. cooked pretty well except for the fact that the area near the crust turned out a lot hotter than the middle area. service is standard, be aware that deep dish pizzas take awhile. ambiance is super casual and family friendly. paxti's is a good chain if you're craving deep dish!
Pizza had an awesome flavor, just the right crust texture of crunch and soft. Waitress was nice and patient while taking our order. We went on a Saturday evening. At arrival, there were a few tables occupied with a majority of people having to-go orders. Before we left, there was a shift change and there ended up being a large party of kid athletes so it got busy for the staff since they were more focused on the large party. 4 stars because the salad was over dressed. Pizza alone is definitely worth returning.

The Mrs. And I were in the mood for pizza. We were a bit tired of cooking our nutritious home cooked meals for the Little One and all. Plus, it was Pi/Pie day! So what better time to eat pizza?!?!? Ordered delivery from Patxi's Pizza via DoorDash. So we did not have the opportunity to experience the ambiance or the service. We did not see any option for their own personal delivery service. That we might've missed it. As avid fans of Chicago pizza, we were excited to try their build-your-own deep dish. Opted for classic fillings like roasted garlic, pepperoni, and basil, creating a hearty, flavorful pie with a crispy, garlicky crust. The cheese pull was slightly lacking, possibly due to delivery and inevitable cooking en route to our home. However, the overall experience was satisfying. Although not reaching the heights of iconic Chicago spots like Lou Malnati's or Giordano's, Patxi's delivered a solid rendition of the Windy City's famous deep dish. Looking forward to revisiting someday, perhaps for the full dine-in experience.
The food is delicious! The patio was airy and dogs are welcome. Service was a little slow, but it didn't affect the experience too much. Highly recommend!
Went there today for lunch, dined in, excellent customer service. Had the half salad and half sandwich, butter lettuce salad is coated with toppings - may want to ask for dressing on side if you're watching calories. Fiance had a piantas (spell check), basically a 10" thin crust pizza folded over and cut in half - looked amazing! While dining, appeared that primarily a take out spot. Will be back, here's an updated photo of some weekly deals.
Bill and Jorje gave us great customer service. The outdoor bar was esthetic and fun. The water misters were a great touch during the hot weather. We had a spinacini pizza, patxis matgarita and a beer flight. The food and drink were great and getting the free dessert with the Yelp check in was nice. I'll definitely be back and will recommend this spot to my friends and family!
I don't like to give a bad review, but after being here twice. A year apart from each and the service was the same, I have to leave this negative review. Last year we brought our soccer team here after a game. Paxti's is across the street from the Hyatt in Dublin, CA was convenient for our party size. When we arrived they made room for us (40 people) on the patio. It took several hours to prepare all of the pizza pies for our party. They apologized, but a lot of our party left without actually eating more than a slice of pizza. It was disappointing when you have so many athletes that were very hungry after a day of soccer games. They told us it would have been easier if we called ahead and put the order in, prior to our arrival. We gave the benefit of the doubt, because we showed up without calling ahead. This year, we called ahead at 4:45pm and put in an order for 20 pizzas for 7pm with a party of 40+. When we at 7pm, none of the pizza had been prepared. There was no seating reserved for our party and we had to wait nearly an 20 minutes for the pizzas to slowly begin come out. After 2 hours, there were only half of the pizzas out and many frustrated families and soccer players. 6 more pizzas came out over the next hour. The manager came out and said that we should be all good now. We explained we were still missing 4 pizzas. It was completely disorganized. Instead of the manager taking personal responsibility and deducting a portion of the bill, he blamed a 16 year staff member. The bill for all the pizzas was $793! All he offered was a free beverage for our troubles. We paid the bill and that will be the last time we ever eat there.
I have driven by Patxi's Pizza so many times so I decided to stop in one day and give it a try. I stopped in during happy hour and the place was surprisingly empty. There is a lot of seating (indoor and outdoor). The pizzas are huge! They have a sweet tomato base sauce that I find delicious but can be too sweet for some. The honey on the pizza I enjoy but it's not necessary. The cheese pull is soooo good! The garlic bread is delicious. It does have a lot of garlic but it's not overpowering. I was satisfied with the mixed green salad. The sangria was tasty and the michelada was way better than expected. Our server Raphael was not only friendly and welcoming, he was outstanding with his recommendations and service. Come during happy hour, they have a lot of good deals.
Came here on a Friday night and surprisingly was very empty. The food was great, it is a little on the pricier side- ordered 2 personal pizzas, 2 drinks and a salad to share. 3 stars due to the service, our waiter did not check in on us. For being so empty and the cost, I expected better service. I had to ask for Parmesan and red pepper, our waters were not refilled, and we're not asked if we wanted more drinks dessert etc.

As we were in the area with our buds spending a day of fun together, we decided what could be some food that we would normally not eat if apart due to the number of people we're generally with and pizza came to mind. We did brainstorm about pizza places and Patxi's was a suggestion. I was never a huge fan after a few times we had it in South Bay, but I figured I would try them again. And although the place seemed posh and similar to the other Patxi's we've visited in the past, the pizza itself was just ok and lacked a crisp and crunch in the crust though it was successful in not completely falling apart nor was it super oily. L O C A T I O N Patxi's is located in Persimmon Place. Parking can be a little crazy now that COVID restrictions are becoming more lax. It was quite busy when we went early Sunday night. There's a private lot shared by all the shops and restaurants all of which seemed to be quite busy. They had a lot of outdoor seating and minimal indoor though I did see a couple families inside eating most of them were outside dining along with dogs. M E N U Patxi's has a pretty straight forward menu. They have deep dish, pan and thin crust pizza. The options they have for pizzas weren't really enticing for me as I was staring at the menu so hard to see which one I would completely go ga-ga with and nothing did as the sausage had garlic and pesto has garlic. I know you're probably going, then why even get pizza? Well sometimes you just sacrifice you stomach to your intolerances okay? They did have some starters, as well as salads, soups, sandwiches, and something called a Piadina which looked like a pizza taco. We opted for two pizzas, one 10-inch and the other in 14-inch size (the only two sizes they have). We got the Salsiccia (All-natural garlic-fennel sausage, herbed ricotta, fresh basil, mozzarella, homemade tomato sauce & parmesan) and Bianco Verde (Pesto, herbed ricotta, mozzarella & parmesan) both in thin crust. ~ Salciccia ~ My concern was the sausage having a heavy garlic taste and it wasn't but I didn't really taste anything from the meat which was a little disappointing. I thought they'd be more chunks of sausage (like in the photos on their menu) but it was more in a ground meat kind of presentation strewn all over the pizza. The crust itself was crisp on the outside, but the middle wasn't as crisp as I would want. ~ Bianco Verde ~ Similar to the Salciccia in terms of crust, not crisp. There was a generous layer of cheese on top of the dough though which helped stabilize the pizza so it wouldn't flop. Otherwise, the pesto wasn't as strong in garlic as I've had in other places which is a good thing for me, I don't know about others. But if you like a cheese pizza, this one is good with a hint of pesto. S E R V I C E We can't really say too much about service as we ordered for take out which went pretty smoothly and they said the order would be ready in 30 minutes. When we got there, it was a little hard to figure out where to go in as they placed a podium almost right against the door which made it seem like it wasn't where we were supposed to be going in or picking up. Also there were people standing outside that blocked the door with their dog which again made it a little difficult for us to get into the door to get our pizza. O V E R A L L Again, it was okay pizza, but for that price you would hope for better. Options weren't "ooooh I need to eat that" and now seeing their menu, it looked like you could do a build your own which completely went over my head so that was my own darn fault. It did look like a nice place to hang out with friends. It is convenient and shareable which is a plus. Perhaps I just need to try more stuff from their menu and give it another shot. As I always say, try it yourself, cause you never know if you'll like it better than me! read more
First ever trip to Patxi's was a success! Wife and I came here after watching a movie at Regal Cinemas. We started off with the wings and chose a dry rub. The wings were done perfectly and the dry rub was the perfect choice. The meat was tender and just pulled off the bone with ease. Wish we had ordered more but the 6 pieces were just enough for our appetizer. For our main, we ordered a deep dish bbq chicken pizza. Deep dish pizzas aren't a favorite of mine but this one was pretty damn good. The only knock I have is that there didn't seem to be a whole lot of chicken. Other than that, the crust and sauce was amazing. Wished they had the cheesecake but I was told there wasn't anymore left. Probably was for the best as my stomach was completely full from the two dishes we got. read more

Ambiance: 4/5 - both indoor and outdoor seating. Bathrooms were super clean, we sat outdoors on a sunny day under some umbrellas, the outdoor patio was nice and featured a full bar. We vibed to the 80's karaoke music. Bring sunglasses if you sit outside. Service: 5/5 - attentive without being too in your face. Food came out fairly quick after ordering. Drinks were always refilled without even asking! Food: 4/5 - deep dish is the star here, light and flaky crust with plenty of filling inside. We tried the chicken fajita deep dish. It was good, but I wish I got something more traditional. They also have other unique options like chicken tikka masala deep dish. We also tried a Neapolitan style pizza. The spinachini was good, but the toppings weren't fully cooked, so those whole cloves of garlic were a little hard to eat. Otherwise, it was pretty tasty. Like a margherita pizza with more oomf. The salads and starters were nice too. The Greek salad was light and refreshing, easy to share. The jalapeño artichoke dip was so tasty. Overall, I would come back here for some good times with friends or family, sitting on the patio and enjoying some pizza and drinks. read more

Friday lunch hour and packed out front but no one inside. Everyone outside were Starbucks customers so it looks deceiving. We had a seat on their outside patio, weather was perfect so why not over order. My girl and I started with a salad and burrata bruschetta. Both were delicious but the salad had a piece of plastic. Manager came out and removed the salad from the bill. I felt bad because I had already eaten most of the salad. The burrata was delicious, I almost wanted more bread but it was enough. We had two thin crust Neapolitan pies: margarita and salccicia. Salciccia came out without the basil but that's fine. I am slightly biased though, I love wood oven pizza and these hit the spot. Crust was crispy and chewy and the pizza sauce was slightly sweet. Both were delightfully delicious. Manager provided a brownie sundae for the minor inconvenience. But this place is 5 stars for service, menu, and food quality. I would come here again. read more
Freebies, excellent food and friendly staff is always my style of eating out. I always order the Caesar salad because it really is one of the best that I've had at a restaurant. It didn't disappoint. First time ordering a sandwich and it was almost perfect. I enjoyed the flavors of a vegetarian sandwich with an Italian flair. The free dessert was freshly made and a surprise in a good way. Cheesy dessert was great! The server was working solo, bussing and all in a busy dinner crowd. Nice job! read more

3-23-2021... 3p.m. Walked into a warm welcome to PATXI'S, may I check your tempature?... (Wait a min Yelp Fam, this is my first review with covid regulations in my review intro)... My venture here was suggested by my brother. We luv to eat so I didn't even second guess his tip to stop by...Dine in available...I quickly dashed to the outdoor patio...This place looks like a good time...Ordered a cold Stella and a meatball bread bowl...pretty darn good...Also ordered a Chicago style with xtra garlic of corse and a dessert smores to go...I had the opportunity to meet the manager Donavan. Real professional, he mentioned the nites to stop by for live music... I most def will be back on those nites read more
Over the years, I have wanted to like this place. Each time I am hopeful. I am not sure what is happening during COVID, but I did have experience prior to COVID that was good. Usually, the service is fine, but it's the food and how the kitchen gets the food out and correctly. We popped in for lunch on a Saturday and this was the first time in many visits that the food came out as ordered and yummy. Pizza, garlic bread, and butter lettuce salad. For a small (seating size ) restaurant the wine list is decent as is the beer selection. On those warm evenings - it's great to grab a seat on the outdoor patio and have a cocktail. I called in my order and went to pick it up. It was a busy Fri night, but the server's were patient and friendly. I got a half Special, half Spinach and Pesto deep dish pizza. Visually, it's reminiscent of a Zachary's pizza. The crust was good and the piquant sauce also reminded me of Zachary's. However, it was very odd that is was difficult to taste the difference between the Special and the Spinach and Pesto. The sausage, bell peppers and mushrooms were very mild and not consistent. When you bit into the pizza, all you could really taste was the the sauce cheese and crust. The same was true for the Spinach and Pesto. I didn't get any pesto flavor because it was overpowered by the cheese and tomato sauce. I noticed that you got a free order of garlic bread if you checked in via Yelp, so I ordered that as well. I don't know if I got a "free version" of the dish, but it was dreadful. I took a couple of bites and threw it away. Very disappointing. It looked nothing like the picture on the menu website. Overall, I'd still give them another try. read more

I've tried 2 Patxi's locations now and still don't get it. Their sausage is good- but the crust and taste for both their thin crust and deep dish is so lacking as compared to many other local pizzerias. Halfway through our pizza pictured below we already regretted giving Patxi's a second try. Unfortunately just not for me! read more
The food is delicious!! Love the deep dish, gotta come back to try the thin crust. A good amount of options to choose from that all sound great and the prices are fair. Service was a little slow towards the end of our meal but not too bad, I'd still go back. Also loveee the honey on the crust at the end of the meal. It's a must. read more

Pizza, pizza, pizza. Everyone claims to make the best pizza. THIS PLACE ACTUALLY MAKES THE BEST PIZZA!!! I've never heard of Patxi's - ever, but in California this is as close and as good as Chicago pizza IN CHICAGO!! Real talk. Went with a large group and we ordered like 5 different pizzas and had tastings! Crazy goodness. You can't go wrong with any choice - except the BBQ pizza was a little too sweet. Was the first to come in on a summer weekday so there was no wait to get seated and start ordering. I will say you should order a starter just because it takes a while for the pizza to come out. We got the bruschetta starter and it was not what I expected but was very delicious. The flavors and plating made it fancy and nice to eat. We ordered the 10" BBQ combo deep dish and it was good but I wish the crust was more apparent. The cheese also seemed to be unevenly placed because I kept getting slices with too much cheese while my boyfriend got slices with no cheese. Overall we left satiated and satisfied. read more

Love the patio vibe. Has heaters if chilly and a misting system for the dublin sunny days. They have indoor spacing too. Service was slow. Drinks could be stronger. The chicken tikka masala deep dish pizza was delicious - could have gone easy on the whole garlic. Overall, this location has their pros and cons but definitely worth visiting read more
Another great Patxi's Pizza experience! My boyfriend and I love coming here! I've never been to Chicago... but I imagine this is the next best thing for deep dish pizza. We came here for an early dinner on Friday night. It wasn't too busy and we were seated right away. We chose to sit on the inside as it was a bit windy outside. The patio looked fun though with the outside bar. We shared a 10" Chicago Special Pizza that we couldn't finish in store. Super packed with fresh ingredients and sauce. The best part is putting honey on the crust of course. We went home with leftovers and even the next day, the pizza still tasted great re-heated. Service was great and our waiter was very attentive on refilling our drinks. Love coming here! read more

I tried their specialty pizzas--Butter Paneer and Chicken Tikka--and my family loved both! The bar setup is great, though the weather needs to cooperate for outdoor seating. However, I have no complaints since I don't drink alcohol. The service was excellent, and the location is wonderful! read more

The food was decent. I really liked the atmosphere. The service was good as well. The pizza was good deep dish pizza and the ceaser salad was a decent salad. I got the ultimate Lunch combo with soup salad and slice. The minestrone soup was a little too salty it kinda tasted like pizza sauce with noodles. I also would like to add for a pizza place they had bad ranch, sorry I'm a ranch snob and I could tell it was hidden valley. I would try it again but I would probably just get pizza and not a soup. read more

I have been getting Patxi's pizza at this location and in SF for years. Tonight I ordered a half baked spinach and pesto deep dish pizza. I brought it home and baked it and when I cut into it, a TON of cheese dumped out of it. It is not even edible. When I called them to let them know, the woman who answered told me to order light cheese next time. That's ridiculous. Zachary's never has this problem. The woman at Patxi's said she would "let them know" and that was it. No credit offer or anything to make it right. Their food and service is terrible. And before they say the labor market is tight and it's hard to get good people, I would say look at Zachary's because their employees are great as is their food and customer service. read more

Patxis has gone downhill. Ordered lunch and butter lettuce salad is not crunchy is super soggy. Horrible. Also called in the order at 12pm. They said 30 minutes. Arrived at 1230 and the pizza is still cooking..... had to wait another 15 minutes. Pizza slices for lunch got smaller as well while prices go up... will not be back. No thank you read more

I'd never heard of Patxi's Pizza and a friend brought me here for lunch. The staff is far more attentive than your average pizza joint. The atmosphere was very lively, with all the customers choosing to sit on the breezy patio. I was really hungry and dug right in to my salad of greens. The great thing is that they didn't glop dressing on top, but actually tossed the salad. The waiter offered cracked pepper - "extra please." I ordered the BBQ pizza which has chicken, onion, and fresh cilantro. There was cheese but not tons -- just the perfect amount. The service was quick and friendly. The restaurant was spotless. The vibe was happy. My only complaint was that the iced tea -- which I drink without sweetener-- tasted a bit like coffee. That means the staff likely dumped the coffee ground and didn't rinse before making the tea. I would definitely eat here again! read more

Yum! This place is delicious! Check out the pics, they're so good here. You walk in, it's in a busy shopping center so parking can get difficult. Location: this one is in a busy shopping center. What I like is that after you eat, you can walk around and check out the shops. Parking can get busy but not impossible. Inside: place is clean inside. We got seated right away, very friendly staff! The inside is small. They have a lot of outdoor seating. Staff: friendly! We had a young lady help us and she was awesome! Very nice and good sense of humor. These people care about their Customers. Food: Delicious! Its hearty, yummy food! We had a deep dish and some wings. The food was hot and just tasty. I recommend this place and will definitely come back! Price: Your usual price. Not too high but not.lower than average. I feel pricing was fair. Come have pizza here! It's just delicious food. It's hearty deep dish so if you want that style of pizza, just come here. read more

I come here less frequently due to terrible parking, some bothersome people taking over the sidewalk benches, and also lack of live music. Carolina was an excellent server who patiently waited our table of 6 with a friendly smile. I had called not once, but TWICE for a reservation at noon on the patio for my family of 6. Once arrived, we were told that 6 couldn't sit together (Covid reasons). I was not told this on the phone either of the times I confirmed our reservation for my daughter's 18th /graduation with visiting grandparents. So, I pulled up a table of 2 to the table of 4.- Better communication needed with those who "reserve" over the phone and staff! The happy hour good here, and the food is enjoyable. It's too bad though, Paxtis used to have live music. Aaron Pearson is an acoustic guitarist with an amazing voice who could always bring in a large crowd to Paxtis, as I follow his social media which lets people know where he plays. I hope Paxtis brings back live music! Hundreds of us would show up and give you business. For now, more and more head out to enjoy dining in neighboring Pleasanton and Livermore because of the patio bands. I'll check back. Bon appétit! read more
Went in yesterday a bit after 12 thinking there would be a lunch rush, nope..it was pretty quiet with a few tables taken. I was greeted and seated a few mins after walking in and was immediately asked what I wanted to order. I havent even sat down for 15 seconds and asked him to give me a few minutes but ordered an Iced Tea. He came back with my drink and I inquired about the pizza lunch special. So I ordered the slice and salad combo (caesar salad with anchovies and a deep dish slice of pepperoni & sausage). After a little wait, the salad came out first - cold, crisp romaine lettuce tossed nicely with their caesar dressing & parm, croutons, topped off with 3pc of anchovies. Im not much of a salad guy but this was really good. My deep dish slice came out minutes later and was quite disappointed. First bite was decent but the more I cut into it, the less appealing it became to eat. Why? It was barely warm & to top it off, I wasn't checked on by my server..there was only 2 tables being waited on in the dining room & was forgot about, sadly. I continued on with my lunch. Was 90% done then was handed my check and asked if I wanted a refill, I declined. This used to be my favorite pizza place, havent been here in a year or so. I love Patxi's pizzas, especially the deep dish type. The first Patxi's I ever went to was in Berkeley or Albany ... I dunno where the line is! But that location is in the urban jungle, and I'd much rather come out to the nice safe suburbs here to have my deep dish pizza and have my car in the same location and condition as I left it! Patxi's was the first Bay Area competitor to Zachary's Chicago Pizza, that I feel in love with the first time I came to the Bay Area. But now I love Patxi's the best, now that Zach's has gone downhill some ..... still good, but not on the top of the list. This Dublin location was easy to get to. I suppose if you go on prime time you might have a little parking prob, but we went mid week for lunch and no prob parking. Patxi's and even Zachary's may not be "authentic" Chicago deep dish pizza, but I really prefer our California deep dish version. I've had "real" Chicago style and I hate that crust ... way too much cornmeal, it's almost like cornbread crust, or as described by another, it was like pizza on a "biscuit"! Our California version has a flaky buttery crust that I love. Patxi's is a stuffed version, meaning besides deep dish, it has a thin layer of dough on top and then topped with sauce and cheese. If you've never had deep dish pizza before, think of it as a "pie" but instead of apples or pumpkin inside, it's all pizza toppings (fillings). Two slices will be enough to fill you. Yes, this pizza is expensive. Think of it as "adult" pizza. You need something to just fill the children's tummies, go to Pizza Hut! It'll be way cheaper! Low $20's to $30 for deep dish here. See the online menu. The deep dish style will take minutes to make and cook, depending on how many pizzas are ahead of you. So, what you do is call in, in advance by say 35 minutes, either for dine in or take out. The time you may spend waiting in line, your pizza will be cooking! For me, it's best eaten at the restaurant. That way you get the pizza piping hot right outta the oven and have the full experience. Traveling 15 minutes in a box steaming the crispy crust is not the best thing for a pizza. Patxi's for me all the way! read more
