The office is overbooked, with a crowded waiting room and long wait times. My appointment was scheduled for 10 AM, yet I sat for 40 minutes without even being checked in. When I approached the front desk to ask if I needed to fill out any paperwork, the receptionist informed me that she hadn't even gotten to my name yet. I asked how much longer it would be and if I should reschedule, but she couldn't give me an estimate. Instead, she vaguely stated that it "doesn't mean it will be a long time." She was initially unwilling to reschedule my appointment until another staff member stepped in and offered to do so. By that point, I had already decided to find a more organized and professional dental office--one that actually prioritizes cleanliness, because this place was filthy. I would not recommend Dental Dreams to anyone looking for quality care and good customer service.

If you're not familiar, #13 is in the back #7 (fang tooth) is in the front... Very hard to mix up. He attempted NOT to use gloves when putting his fingers in my mouth to start so I (not a dentist) had to remind him to use gloves. When I (again not a dentist) informed him that I believed he is drilling into the wrong tooth he starred into my mouth cluelessly for about 45 seconds, chuckled, and stated "these mistakes happen" to which his assistant behind me then stated CLEAR AS DAY AND WITHIN STRONG EAR SHOT OF ME "I told you George, you had the crowns mixed up, I told you that this was not the correct crown & you didn't listen." My insurance company had to call him within a week of my botched crown appointment to get the work removed from my file so I could go to an actual dentist to get the correct work done and he couldn't even remember who I was let alone the work that was botched. He offered me a reimbursement for the co-pay via check in the mail (USPS) after I denied him the opportunity of "fixing" the now broken healthy tooth. Since he agreed to sending me the check I & my insurance company called him back roughly 5x within a 3 month span to remind him to send me my refund check of my co-pay and to remove the work that was "done" to which after 3 months he finally did. This guy is an absolute joke to work with, he has zero idea what he is doing and CLEARLY needs to be retired from dental work before he harms other people. If you value your teeth or want any level of professionalism whatsoever, DO NOT EVER GO HERE. THIS MAN HAS ZERO IDEA WHAT HE IS DOING!!!!

He is bare bones, with 2 or 3 dental hygienists working at a time. I've been coming here for 7 years. He is fast, they have decent hours so I can come after work on Mondays or Thursdays and everyone is very friendly. My twice annual cleaning appointments last about 30 minutes, even if I need X rays. Since I'm a baby and I don't like the sound of the drill, I bring my own ipod when i need a cavity filled. They are cool with it :)

Consultation was smooth and easy, as the doctors took 3D X-rays of my mouth to get to the bottom of the issue. Not only did the first root canal performed stop a few inches too short, but I had acquired an infection as well. Great. Doctor Andrew assured me that the process was one that they specialize in, so I had nothing to be worried about. And I didn't. Upon the day of surgery, my usual anxious and nervous self was calm and ready to treat a tooth that had been causing some issues for years. The procedure itself was quite quick and painless. Shocking! Doc even obliged me in talking through what he was doing and why. I had a great time in the chair! What they do not prepare you for.. is the pain during the aftermath of the treatment. I think many people like myself are afraid of what happens while in the chair, but for the first time in my life, the pain outside of the re-treating process was and has been some of the most excruciating pain I have ever experienced. I think what really sent me into a bit of a frenzy, is that this amazing, sweet, kind and caring facility with some of the most awesome staff members I have encountered.. sent me home with no prescribed medication! After an infection and extended roots!?! The procedure was on a Thursday.. by Friday night, my face was immensely swollen and the pain was so unbearable that all I could do was cry and pray. I was told over the counter Motrin would suffice... and it did.. but only for three hours. As I lay here two days removed from the procedure, and the pressure of my face increases.. I'm still shocked that I was expected to handle something like this without any additional medication before sending me home. Please make sure to inquire about medication that you NEED before leaving.
