Food was very good, service was fast and friendly and ambiance was fun but not stuffy. It was a little pricy for 2 entrees, one dessert and one glass of wine($100).

My husband and I have been wanting to go here and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Sunday ribbon pasta and he ordered the sausage and pea rigatini. Both were delicious and both tasted fresh. It does not look like a lot of pasta, but both my husband and I could only eat half. The restaurant was beautiful inside and we had a reservation, but they seated us earlier. Also the food came out so fast. We also loved our waiter, she was super attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We will definitely be coming back!

Celebrated our 7 yr anniversary here and couldn't have picked a better spot. Our server, Kailey, was amazingly attentive. The food was exquisite. We enjoyed the mussels and stracciatella as an appetizer then had the special and the lobster bow tie pasta. Enjoyed amazing cocktails all the way through and tied it all up with an amazing bread pudding. Can't wait to go back. 5 stars hands down.

We had such an amazing experience at Paulie's! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely delicious--we started with the fried cheese curds (so good!), my husband ordered the chicken parm, and I had the lobster bow ties pasta. Every dish was packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. Our waiter, Chris, was phenomenal--attentive, friendly, and really made our night enjoyable. Chef Paul himself even came around to check on tables, which gave it a personal and welcoming touch. The atmosphere is also something special. The inside design makes you feel like you've stepped out of WV and into a big city Italian restaurant. It's modern, unique, and creates the perfect backdrop for a fine dining experience. We couldn't leave without dessert, so we took a slice of tiramisu cheesecake to go--WOW. Rich, creamy, and the perfect sweet ending to the night. On top of it all, the prices were very reasonable for the quality and presentation you get. This is definitely a new go-to spot for us, and I can't recommend it enough!

Such a good experience! My wife and I came here on a weekday evening so we were seated right away. I got the sausage and pea rigatini and my wife got the Sunday ribbons. They were both absolutely delicious. The food was brought out very fast and the server was very attentive. Will definitely be coming back!

Excellent food and service every single time. The lasagna is my favorite entree! We love the zucchini chips and the basil buttermilk ranch is 100/10!

Everything here was perfectly adequate. Nothing stood out nothing very special. It was above Olive Garden, but again nothing truly special.

The wait can be 20-30 minutes during prime dinner hours, and the food wait can also be lengthy. Plan on enjoying a few hours here and don't be in a rush once you get here. Let's talk about the food. They have gluten free options and anything can be made gluten free according to the staff. They also have some vegetarian options. I love burgers, and honestly, it's hard to beat a handmade beyond smashburger. This restaurant currently does not offer another veggie substitute other than the Portobello mushroom. It was good, with the added goat cheese, but would have rather had a burger substitute with mushrooms added on top. The fries are great! Perfectly fried with golden crunch in every bite. The garlic aioli is the perfect dipping sauce. I ordered a ranch side as well and it's good, but the aioli is the best choice in my opinion. Great local restaurant with a burger for everyone.

I wanted to try something new and interesting and through my Yelp research I found this spot. It's located in downtown with metered street parking free Monday-Saturday nights after 6pm and all of Sunday. Luckily, we were able to find a spot easily. Inside was modern and relatively clean. We had to wait a little bit to be seated as they were pretty busy; however, this place had a decent amount of seating and space. Service was good overall, but it wasn't as consistent as I would've liked for actions such as water refills, asking for extra napkins, etc. This was partly because they were very busy that night. They have a variety of food options - apps, salads, sandwiches, pies (pizzas), and dessert. We ended up ordering a large pizza (thin crust) to split - half Thai and half Chicken Gouda. Both were yummy although the crust was a tad burnt - nothing bad to the extent that taking bites were an effort. Overall, I preferred the Thai since I've never come across a Thai style pizza and I could really taste the curry sauce. The only downside of the Thai was that the shrimp were slightly overcooked, which could be potentially explained by us ordering a pizza split in two styles with them cooking the entire pizza evenly versus what is needed for each ingredient. We finished the entire pizza between the two of us, but I could see someone having some leftovers. If possible, they might want to do some minor pest management. The entire time of our visit a fruit fly or gnat was hovering around us and the food. We tried to catch it and protect the food, only for it to ultimately take a permanent dip in my water. My overall assessment was that it was a good place to try in the city. It's not something I would crave, but I wouldn't mind coming back again if I was in the area.
