Came here on a Sunday evening. There was no wait time and we sat ourselves in the back with no issues. Our sever was the only one serving that night so the poor man was running around trying to tend to all the tables. We ordered two small pizzas (which are pretty big for being a small) and they were delicious! I would say these are some of the best pizzas I have had in awhile. The BBQ chicken was seasoned perfectly and our regular pepperoni was amazing as well. Overall this place is a local dive bar that serves food. Nothing bad to say, it's very small.. almost like a narrow hallway. They have tvs with sports but no audio, mostly just the jukebox. Serve decent, locals were decent. read more

Saw the calzone on the menu. Was told by a friend it was good. Price was 11.75. Seemed like a good price. The menu showed marinara sauce, mozarella and romano cheeses, and up to 3 toppings. Seems like it was all included. Apparently not. The receipt had 1.50 charge for each topping. Nowhere was this spelled out on the menu. Very deceptive. My 11.75 calzone was 16.25. In addition there were little gnats buzzing around during the meal. One tried to commit suicide in my beer. As it is not an outdoor restaurant I do not know if they come form the kitchen, the storage area, or from the dog that one customer had walking around inside while we were eating. read more

The girl at the bar on a Sunday evening was not welcoming. Our drinks were in disposable cups. The draft beer was not cold and the pepperoni pizza had 1 slice of pepperoni per slice. The people behind us were complaining about the food also. Out server was waiting on us and then would go in the kitchen and prepare food without washing his hands. Super slow service. This is for the location in Sunset Beach... located in the old shore, house café. This place has been multiple restaurants over the past 15 years and the decor has not changed. It doesn't bother me, but it is outdated. Bartender was great!! Jalapeno poppers were decent. Pizza very bland and when it was brought to us, they said here is your well done pizza. Didnt order it well done!!!!! Took about 30 minutes to get the pizza. Also, there was a band playing in the back, which was horrible, and the jukebox was playing at the same time. So I came in tonight, sat at the bar and ordered cheese bread and a pizza half cheese/half meat lovers. After waiting over 30 mins, the cheese bread never came out. When our pizza arrived, still no bread appetizer, when I mentioned it to the bartender she hadn't even noticed it never arrived, so I told her just to cancel it. The pizza itself, honestly was just so basic. There was nothing special about it, it wasn't terrible but it didn't leave me wanting more or wanting to return, so that sucked. It was also WAY too greasy, I had to use at least 4 napkins (which I had to grab from the bar myself because they didn't provide us any) per slice to attempt to soak it up. See picture... There were 4 bartenders/bar backs in and out of the bar area and it was still so difficult to get service. At the end, one of the girls asked if we wanted a box, we said "yes." 20 mins later, after not getting a box, I politely asked her again, she then asked another bartender to grab our box. I'm from Chicago and New York, so I KNOW great pizza...this pizza isn't great by any stretch, it was just "ok." The menu is also pretty small and not exciting. It was very disappointing tonight to try to support a local business but to be literally run off by over 100 unmasked patrons partying inebriated just outside and unmasked employees inside preparing and selling the pizza. After a woman squeezed out the door past us, asking if we were cops, we decided that this was a risk we were unwilling to take. We were just there to pick up some pizzas to take home, but when I saw the situation with my own eyes, I knew I couldn't feed that pizza to my elderly mother or my 7-year-old. Although the seating is limited, the food makes up for it! The food was excellent and LARGE. Had we known the portions were so big, we could have shared. The pizza was cheesy and seasoned. We ordered the "small" sandwich and had to take half home. The bread.... oh the bread of that sandwich will live in my dreams. I could eat the bread by itself. I have only been there twice in my whole life! But bartender who I believe although not positive is with someone romantically who assaulted me physically at another job that I worked several years ago, notified me I had been 86-Ed by management. Second time coming into Paulie's this time around I brought my boys on a Tuesday afternoon. We ordered a small pepperoni for my picky eater and I shared a pepperoni, sausage, mushroom with my oldest. This is the cheesiest pizza I've ever had. They were both made when we ordered and the ingredients tasted fresh. I live down the street but I DoorDashed from here cuz I wasn't feeling good and Waited an hour and 40min to for them to complete my order and it only took the dasher 3 min to get here when my order was done. The pizza was burnt and dryer than hell. Wouldn't have minded the wait too much if the food was halfway decent but this was lousy. We come here every weekend to catch the Raiders game. The place is never overcrowded, the service is great, the pizza is the best I ever had and the prices are the best in town. The atmosphere is congenial and laid back with a small grouping of Raiders fan having a great time even when our team is not doing so well. I would recommend this place over any sports bar.
