I'm only realizing I never reviewed Pave because I came to Yelp to find their phone number as I want another piece. This is a small business so adjust your expectations. I saw a 1 star review complaining the shop was busy and the team inattentive. I don't think that's fair because of the nature of this small shop. You are meeting with an artist and getting personalized attention. Personalized here means you're meeting the people pulling your creation together, and it doesn't necessarily mean undivided attention. My boyfriend and I went for an hour long appointment to look at rings. The service was absolutely fantastic! The jeweler, Vishal, was extremely transparent, knowledgeable and personable. He is extremely passionate about making his pieces unique and intimate for his clients, even providing free customizations. He works by appointment only which is amazing because when you're there, you have his undivided attention and that is something we did not experience anywhere else. Our first appointment with him was later in the evening and Vishal stayed late to accommodate us. When we got there, it was not an in and out or "routine" situation. He didn't have a sales pitch. Instead, he started from scratch and spent a great deal of time listening, asking questions, and giving thoughtful feedback. It didn't just stop there. After we left, we had several email exchanges with him and not only did he reply quickly, but his responses were often lengthy and very detailed which we appreciated so much. He puts time into everything. Another important reason why you should go here is that Vishal will encourage and help you become educated on diamonds - not just pick from options he puts in front of you. There is a lot that goes into buying a diamond and my fiance went from knowing nothing to ultimately making a VERY informed decision and that made him feel empowered and comfortable with the purchase.
