To whoever the management team is tell your self checkout employee, the short older woman with the ginger dyed hair, to treat the customers with a better attitude. She's rude and she jumps in front of customers to take over their transaction like she owns the place. I saw people asking her for a bag multiple times and she doesn't make eye contact or give people a bag. I saw her shove herself in front of these kids who were paying customers and checking their video footage as if they stole something, they were nice respectful kids just minding their own business! Totally unprofessional... Other people at the very least say some sort of goodbye on the way out she just completely ignores customers. I don't know why she's always in a bitter mood and this has happens every time she's the one working. read more

This location always has plenty of parking. Customer service remains mediocre. Prices are decent for the area. Expect long lines after 5 pm and on weekends. This Ralphs offers several self checkout stations. I never have issues using them. The location is kept well maintained and clean. This Ralphs is overall decent, but it does not stand out in my opinion. read more

Always enjoy coming back to Ralphs Market systems. I love how this local market has been redone. I have been away for about six years and it was finished before I left, but still just love the feel of it. Always looks great, clean, good products, the pricing is NUTS as all markets are here in California area. I can't believe the prices today, but get the APP, use the coupons, save on some deals and make it work. Good baked goods, fresh foods and meals, great cheese selection and they have NERD CLUSTERS!! For a few years now, I've been creeped out by the manager that works late at night at this store like probably there after 10pm. Every time he gives me unwanted attention and continues to talk to me when I make it obvious I don't want to talk to him. This needs to stop happening. He doesn't do this with other customers checking out same time as me; it's very clearly singled out toward me, and it makes me extremely uncomfortable. I often avoid the store if I have to shop late at night because of him. It's very obvious that he makes me uncomfortable. This is your warning review Ralphs. Never had this happen at another grocery store like this. I almost had a panic attack recently because of it. This has never happened at this store with others or during the day. *update* a woman who works at the store, keeps harassing me on here telling me I have the wrong location. i do not. Beautiful store but poor service. Our cashier we George h was literally tossing our groceries after scanning them. He tossed a pack of chicken and it burst! We pointed it out and he said "well it wasn't me!" . Even the bagger knew it was him. After a brief awkward pause, he then proceeded to raise his voice "WELL JUST GO EXCHANGE IT! WHATS THE BIG DEAL HUH?" That guy is a joke! He was also really rude to the customer before us. She wanted a pack of cigarettes and he slammed it on the scanner. She apologized profusely for being an inconvenience and he just glared at her. Other than checkout, the rest of our visit was very enjoyable. Ralph's is such a good spot to shop and I shop here every week no joke! They have this thing where you can order online then pick it up later! The food is great and pretty cheap as well. Today I needed shrimp and I showed a worker a picture of the bag, he led me over to the right spot and said they had none of that one but they had a similar one. The person was so nice he even marked the price down for me so I could have it for the price of the other bag! I really love here and would recommend it 200 percent. The only thing is with the order ahead and pick up later they are out sometimes with certain things so they just don't give it to you or a substitute. But over all I love Ralph's. read more

Gayle and I visited this Ralph's a couple times during our recent stay at the nearby Residence Inn, while in town for a family wedding. For trips like this, we usually buy beer and wine for the room and for the family gatherings. We actually found the Ralph's by asking for directions from the nearby Shell station, as this is not our community. As it turned out, were were almost there. The hardest part about entering a new supermarket is that we didn't have the "muscle memory" to know where everything was located. So it took awhile to find the adult beverage sections, plus a few added snacks. Up front at was fine, as our checker was friendly and efficient. read more

This Ralph's has gone from ok to horrible in a few short months. they do not stock what they advertise and the milk and eggs price is 30% more than Trader Joes which is next door. Milk Ralph's brand, $5.49 half gallon. eggs $6.49 for 12 large. Trader Joe's milk $3.99 half gallon, eggs $2.99 for 12 large. Lactose free milk. I have been asking the managers for the beer Mind Haze for months. they advertise it but do not have it in stock. I have to drive across the city to buy it at the Ralph's on Moorpark road, they say, yeah that Ralph's has a larger selection of beer. Horrible! Also, please power wash the front of the store. it smells like a bathroom stall, urine, human urine smell all over the front of Ralph's. read more

You'd be better off driving to the valley for groceries rather than go into this Ralphs. The laziest most miserable grocery store employees you will ever come across, probably a result of working for one manager in particular (if you've been there you probably know who I'm talking about). The shelves are poorly stocked, the produce is often on the verge of rotting, and it's just an awful vibe in there. I used to tolerate it because it's less than 5 minutes from my house, but I've been so much happier shopping literally anywhere else in town. We've got plenty of options, don't waste your time or money shopping here. Side note- I ran into a former employee across town at another store, and she basically said the same thing, she was so glad to be out of there. read more

The biggest plus of this store is that they carry prime ribeye steaks. On the other hand, the store is fairly small compared to most grocery stores nowadays. Went to the store yesterday to get a few lunch items, was overcharged minimally on a couple items. I talked to the girl and told her this happens all the time, so she suggests I come back in the store ( during my busy workday) and get the $2 back after explaining there are digital coupons that aren't the same as your Ralph's reward card (which was in the transaction!) After going through all the coupon combinations etc, I said it may be easier to just shop at another store.... Her response "oh that's fine, have a good day" & hung up. Was at the self check out and there were no bags. I look over to the bald manager who was standing next to a stack of them and said "Excuse me sir, may I please have two paper bags?" The food is average, nothing great about it but not bad. It's comparable to Vons. I find most of the service people to be ok to good, but nothing outstanding or great. I like their ads distributed into my mailbox every week. I wish it would be consistently Tuesdays, rather than sometimes Wednesdays. ONE BIG PROBLEM I HAVE WITH RALPHS - Discrimination against elderly people that do NOT have - or carry Smart Phones. WHY MAKE US GO THROUGH THE 'DIGITAL' PROCESS? Don't come here for gift cards, I tried purchasing $2,500 worth of gift cards for my employees this Christmas & was told I couldn't because I didn't physically have my ID on me. I had a photo of it & the card I was using to pay was a company card, there is no ID that belongs to it per it is a company name. Long story short I ripped off all the backside tabs off of 24 gift cards & stood in line for nothing. Every year Ive purchased these here, never once was I asked for an ID. This store does not care about people with limited mobility and is in violation of ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act). They cram so may things in the isles that a person in a wheel chair has no chance of shopping without hitting something. In the Frozen isle it is so crammed full of items that if ANYONE wants to move down the isle the person next to them has to BACK-OUT so that they can pass. When I spoke with the manager, the response was that many people have complained about this, however this is a corporate decision. I have filed a complaint with Kroger corporate office and will be filing an ADA complaint if the issue has not been corrected. read more

Today we went to Ralph's to shop and my little baby girl was choking on a piece of apple. Hector jumped to the rescue with a bottle of water. His care and heroism were most appreciated. it was not the biggest scare but it was scary enough to notice we needed help luckily I patted her back and she cried it off. Oh, Ralph's I really wanted to like you today. Walking up and down your aisles I couldn't find a single employee in the store to help me. Sure the cashiers were busy with their lines, where were the others? After walking the store searching for the product I was seeking, I went to your info desk. The busy person there gave me the aisle to check and while he was right, it wasn't a great experience. People are friendly at Trader Joe's, I never feel like my question is taking them from their job. In Whole Foods, the clerks walk me to the right aisle. Stopped in tonight to get a salad, I got the "Crab" Louie, decided to eat it in the parking lot as I had a busy schedule tonight. !/2 way in I notice a black item that was clearly out of place. I lifted the lettuce piece that it slid under and found a very big dead fly. So I actually had "Maggot" Louie tonight, or was it just Fly Louie? He was intact so that makes me think he didn't show up from the fields ending up in the chopped mix, but landed during the packaging, tomorrow I will call the Ventura County health dept. Elizabeth the manager promptly refunded my money. I lost my trust tonight on pre- made Ralph's food/salads, all it took was one big dead fly. Placed an order online for flowers - it was offered for pick up or delivery. I ordered for a week later (for graduation). The morning of graduation they called me to tell me that they sold out and couldn't do it. I was working all day - which is why I placed the order ahead of time because I wouldn't have time to drive around. I called them back and they told me that I had to go into the floral department and couldn't place the order online. However, the lei is literally offered to "add to cart". I asked to talk to the manager and the lady in the floral department was super dismissive and very rude. They told me to call back to the store because she wouldn't transfer me to a manager. Then the "manager" that I spoke to told me that he called me a few hours ago and he thought I had plenty of time to find another one. He told me he didn't care that the graduation was that day and I shouldn't have placed the order online - it was a mistake on the website. However, as of today...you can still place an order for one online for delivery or pick up today. I've been shopping at this Ralphs for many years and have enjoyed the people that worked there. I have never been treated so rudely by any company representative. I do not believe that the "manager" was actually the manager and if he indeed was, corporate really needs to look into the people who they hire to deal with issues. Bottom line...DO NOT USE THE FLORAL DEPARTMENT! Super disappointing. read more

I've been told I have to go see a special person to do this who then is not available. Next we are currently offing anymore at the moment... then I finally get directed to get one but I can't bring the application home and fill out I have to fill out in store... This place is the most convenient store to shop at in the are and the staff has done an unbelievable job during the COVID19 crisis. I want to say a few words about my man George because I saw in some other reviews where people were ripping the guy but take it from me he is a professional grocer. Convenient, easy place for quick stops. Ample parking despite heavy foot traffic during peak hours (lunch and after work). In the same lot as BJ's, Kreasian Kitchen, and Trader Joe's. The main reason I frequent this location is because of its sushi. Yes, there's a sushi maker stationed at the front left of the store, just next to the main entrance. Rolls run anywhere from $5-$15, ranging from avocado-cucumber rolls to spicy tuna hand rolls to salmon nigiri. There's also potstickers, seaweed salad and poke bowls available in the same area. I come by, grab what I like, and head over to the adjacent Self Checkout area. The whole trip takes me about 3-5 minutes, depending on how many people are waiting at Self Checkout. Every register is usually open, so the wait is typically quite short. The few times I've ventured around the store were pleasant. Well-stocked shelves and generally clean aisles. read more

Zero stars for the woman who makes the cakes. She is so rude and acts like she is being very inconvenienced and doing you a huge favor to make a cake. She refused to add paw prints on with frosting even though there was a picture of it in the design book. She said she didn't do that. One of her coworkers walked behind her and said "excuse me" and she turned around and snapped at her "excuse you!" So mean. 5 stars for George and Matthew. They work so hard and get the job done. I love how many people know George by name because he really is a great guy and I make sure to always get in his line if he's there because he's fast, efficient, and fun. I have been a loyal Ralphs customer for over 40 years and have shopped at this Ralphs (T.O. Blvd and Westlake Blvd corner) for 6.5 years but that may have to change. The service at this Ralphs has been going gradually downhill for the last 3 years or so. Here are the "lowlights" of this Ralphs: I. The shelves are very poorly stocked on a consistent basis. The shelves are also messy and poorly organized. 2. The lines are frequently very long and slow moving, stretching back into the food isles. 3. The bathrooms are disgusting. The TP dispensers have been broken for what seems like years -- why doesn't somebody fix or replace them after so long? Also, since the bathroom doors lock, why not make them Unisex like Gelsons does? 4. I frequently have to wait an inordinate amount of time at the Deli counter for service. Today was better but they only had one size of container. They used to have 3 sizes but that went away a few years ago. 5. The employees at this store seem miserable. When they weren't required to wear masks you almost never saw any of them smile. Their interaction with the customers seems like it is an unpleasant chore for them. 6. The shopping carts are often in poor condition and not very clean. Also, the carts are regularly overflowing in the parking lot collection corrals with very few to choose from in the storage areas right outside the two store entrances. Again, all this Ralphs needs to do is look at how Gelsons keeps their carts clean, organized and in good working order. The bottom line for me is that this Ralphs does not have their act together at all -- not even close. read more

Good location, just off 101 FWY. This market is well maintained and organized. Many staffs on duty. I used the self-check out kiosk. The staff was standing by in case customers needed any help. Always have great deal at the bakery section. Price is very reasonable. The Parking: Sharing parking lot with other retailers but parking is never an issue. read more
