2.5 Star Pavillion Pastries Cafe is located near Main Subway Station so it is convenient to pick up an early morning coffee. Americano ($1.69) was decent! However, Galaktobouriko ($3.50) was disappointing. The phyllo was soggy, the filling was dry and hard... Yelp friend, thanks so much for finishing that! The staff was super nice even gave me a free sample of Loukoumades which was fresh and just have the perfect level of sweetness! Pavillion Pastries Cafe is a good neighbourhood cafe but not worth a special trip.

Recently I moved to Scarborough and I started taking a bus from Main Street Subway. Then I decided to explore the area and found Pavillion Pastries Cafe on yelp. Pavillion Pastries Cafe had good reviews and I tried a piece of custard pie and a cup of coffee. They were very good. Custard pie was cold and I wonder if I could have asked the barista to heat the pie. It was good, but it might be better if the pie was heated. The place was not fancy, but people were friendly and foods and drinks were good. I will definitely drop by to get pastires when I have to wait for a bus long time.

    Entrance just off Main St.

Been Stoppin' in here for about 3 years now. Nice little place, good coffee and they always have more than enough fresh pastries to sugar your lips to. Friendly quiet and just a stones throw from Main Subway station. This has proven a good thing when you just missed that bus and have a 20 minute wait for the next one. Gives more than enough time to walk over and grab something.

This cafe is just literally beside the station and when i walked in it has a lil long line up but im guessing its good. My answer, notbad

Great local pastry shop that brings the community together. Love their Portuguese tart. Always buy it every week. Big fan of the bakery.

Really friendly gentleman working behind the counter and what a gorgeous place. I wish I could sit down, read and have a cup of their amazing coffee. We got a latte and a chai latte. Mmmm so good. The coffee was flavourful but not too acidic and the chai was so delightful. They had a ton of great looking treats to try as well. I highly suggest this place if you need a little pick me up. I stopped by in a recent visit to Toronto when it made more sense to wait for my wife than to drive back and forth from our hotel in Mississauga amidst... hey did you know that (unscientific as this may be) traffic may actually be worst on weekends than during the week? Reason is that, while many folks commute using public transit, car owners drive to their destinations on weekends. This is a small, sun-shiny kind of space, with Wifi. The front part, especially, is a good place to bask in the rays. They seem to offer a few food choices for breakfast and lunch, but since I was just looking for a place to hang out for 90 minutes, I was going to be "minimal patron". I thought about another coffee, but decided against it, since I already had double the caffeine I usually consume before noon, I opted for the "cheapest" choice, in the form of a Perrier. Cha-ching and "ouch" and $3.74 later (OK it's CAD, but still), I'm left wondering whether I could have made a better choice: as in, a cookie and that bottle of water I had with me?

I came in to buy about 30 pastries for my coworkers and let the employee know it would be a larger order. In a dismissive tone, she told me I had to wait until the store was empty before being served. I ended up waiting over 15 minutes as new customers kept arriving. The wait itself wasn't the issue--it was the way I was spoken to. When I asked for two boxes, I was told there would be a 50¢ charge for the second one. While that may be store policy, I would expect customers making larger purchases to feel appreciated, not inconvenienced. I left feeling unwelcome and undervalued. I hope the customer service improves because the pastries are excellent.

The cinnamon pecan Danish was absolutely perfect for breakfast, with just the right balance of sweetness and flavor. I'm already looking forward to returning to try even more items. I also picked up an éclair for later this evening and can't wait to enjoy it. Based on everything I've tried so far, I'm sure it will be just as delicious. This bakery has quickly become a place I plan to visit again and again.

This second location is located outside on the beautifully picturesque cobblestone road named Temperance Street. The building is historic and the calm interiors make you feel instantly at home. The staff was really nice and told me about their menu and seasonal items. In addition to coffee and matcha based beverages, the store offers food and merch as well. Apparently this location is a laptop free zone, offering an incredibly welcome oasis from the hustle and bustle of financial district. Today I ordered a cortado. Before you even drink it, the fragrant coffee smell hits you. A bit sweet and almost fruity. When drinking it, the flavours amplify and provide an overall sense of calm, a breath of fresh air. It doesn't just feel like a regular old coffee but that you can take your time with it, like having a conversation with an old friend, it is meant to be savoured. I absolutely plan to go back for one of their seasonal matcha beverages and to get away from it all. 5/5
