Okay! I'm updating my review cuz I have to give recognition to the absolute ABOVE AND BEYOND SERVICE this place will give your fur baby! When I say the staff cares....THEY REALLY DO!! Special shout out once again to uncle Tony and Ella for making a birthday gift bag for my boy Cash! I told them it was his 1st birthday and when I came to pick up my boys they handmade the bag pictured below filled with fun stuff for Cash! They didn't have to do this but this little gesture is keeping us loyal customers cuz I know my fur babies are loved and cared for here!! Thank you Uncle Tony, Ella and the entire staff of caretakers who love our babies!

We love seeing our guy happy when he's at paw haven!

My corgi has energy for days, and he absolutely loves coming here. The second we pull into the lot and open the car door he FLYS OUT and doesn't look back and by the time we pick him up, he's all smiles and ready for a nap. The staff is great, they are super accommodating with drop off and pickup. They post really cute pictures on their instagram so it's fun to see maverick featured on the page! We've also boarded him here while traveling, and it was such a relief knowing he was in a place he already loved, with people we completely trust. Our flight was delayed on Easter and they kept him an extra night at the last minute which we really appreciated. They give us peace of mind and give Maverick a fun filled day every time he's there! We're so grateful to have found them!

For the love of God, if you have a bulldog--especially a French bulldog--do not take them here. Not only is this place overpriced for what is supposed to be a low-maintenance dog wash, but the quality of grooming is extremely poor. I paid $55 for a grooming, and because I live 15-20 minutes away, I was also warned about a $15 late pickup fee, which feels unreasonable considering the heavy traffic in the area. When I picked up my dog, he was still dirty and shedding excessively. He had tear stains, his face and nose were crusty, his feet were dirty, and unbelievably, he still had poop on his butt. On top of that, I had to educate both the groomer and the owner about something very basic--French bulldogs have tail pockets/corkscrew tails that need to be cleaned. When I got home and checked, his tail pocket was dirty as well, so I had to clean it myself. What really doesn't make sense is how my dog was supposedly "fully groomed" in 25-30 minutes. Every other groomer I've taken him to takes at least an hour and actually does a thorough job. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience. If you have a bulldog, save your money and take your dog somewhere that understands the breed and provides proper care. ----------------------------------------- This photo shows the amount of loose hair I was able to remove myself once I got home and brushed him. That should not have been the case after a full grooming service. I'd also like to clarify that the nose crust was properly cleaned at home using a warm washcloth to soften and break down the buildup. During our conversation, I specifically mentioned that the tail pocket was not cleaned, and that debris was coming out. I was told this was from the anal glands, which is incorrect. Bulldogs have a tail pocket that must be cleaned separately from the anal glands. Failing to clean this area can easily lead to yeast infections, irritation, and odor, especially if an owner is under the assumption that it was addressed during grooming. This is why proper breed knowledge is so important. While I do appreciate that the fee was waived, I also want to point out that the wash took significantly less time than expected, as I had just arrived home shortly after dropping him off. My concern is less about the cost and more about the quality of care and breed-specific knowledge. I'm sharing this not to be confrontational, but in hopes that you and your staff take this as an opportunity to better educate yourselves on bulldog grooming standards so other owners don't experience the same issue. ----------------------------------------- I want to clarify a few points, as my intention was never to go back and forth, but to be transparent about the experience. I was not going to spend additional time at your facility analyzing the work. I trusted that the service I paid for, basic or not, would meet acceptable grooming and hygiene standards. Once I got home and brushed him, it became clear that it did not. Loose hair should not be coming off in clumps immediately after a wash, and there should absolutely not be fecal residue left on a dog's hind area after any grooming service. Regarding the tail pocket I informed your staff that it was dirty, and I was advised to take my dog to the vet. For a bulldog, this is not a veterinary issue unless infection is present--it is a grooming responsibility. Anyone with basic breed knowledge understands that tail pockets require routine cleaning to prevent yeast and bacterial growth. Suggesting a vet visit instead of addressing it reinforces my concern about a lack of breed-specific education. Yes, this was a basic wash. That does not mean the job should be rushed or incomplete. Basic grooming still includes proper cleaning of hygiene-critical areas. I should not have to instruct groomers on fundamental care expectations, especially when this is the service your business provides. I appreciate that you offered to redo the wash and waived the late pick up fee, but my concern remains about overall quality and hygiene standards, not cost. This feedback is being shared so other owners, especially bulldog owners, can make informed decisions, and so your staff has the opportunity to improve training and breed education moving forward.

Our baby stayed at paw haven for a night and had a great time! Everyone there was kind and communicative and took great care of our boy!

Bruno made friends!!! He is the frenchie smiling in back.

Where do I start. We were so worried about taking our Bruno to doggy Daycare. It was his first time interacting with other dogs, other than taking a walk. I have to say this was the smoothest process. My husband called asked questions and filled out information online. When the day came Bruno was excited and went right in. We were so happy to see posts of him and got to check in on him through their live Webcam. He was having a ball. If you are ever in the area and need doggy daycare I recommend this place. Thank you Paw Haven for allowing our Bruno to be part of your crew and giving us peace while he was with you.

RJ's favorite place to be away from home! I love the staff and owner at this doggy bnb. He always looks happy, socializes with other dogs and has a few best friends there. He comes home tired so I can relax after a long day of work and gladly runs in when it's drop off time. I was sad when the old place I took him closed down but after the first day at Paw Haven, I knew I didn't have to worry anymore. Tony is amazing with my baby and RJ loves him. He even gets excited to see the owner Rosalie. You know it's a good business when the owner is present and involved. Thank you for taking such good care of my baby. It definitely gives me peace of mind to know he's in good hands. Look at the pics! His face says it all!

In…read more2023/2024 I found the dog resort extremely helpful as a day time dog sitter for 4-6 hrs at a time. My dog didn't seem to mind it and always came back calmer so I decided to leave him here for 9 days while I went away for a trip. I don't recall the exact costs. Probably between 900-1100 dollars for daily walks and his home provided food. I asked the employees to put on his sweater at night. It wasn't a question it was a very important task they agreed to. He was a very small 8 pound yorkie and was always cold. When I came back my dog was not his normal self. That already made me highly suspicious about getting his walks. He was coughing a lot, not sleeping but also lethargic. I took him to the vet and he had pneumonia. Meaning, he was cold from day 1 and got worse for the remainder of his stay and I never got a call from here. From there he got sicker and sicker and I had to put him down. I was devastated and desperate to get him back to normal for months! I recommend people never leave their dogs in places like this. Sure you save money and they may or may not have company (depending on their personality) but you're better off vetting a dog sitter to check in or stay with your dog at home. In the end you may save yourself an onslaught of vet bills from trying to figure what is making your dog so ill when back from a trip. At least with an in home dog sitter they're more like to stay alive and healthy. If you have a small dog with specific needs get someone who can cater to your dog with love and care. I highly suggest NEVER leaving your dog for overnight or extended stays. I hate that it took me so long to post this but my grief was too strong to do it before. I wanted to sue, I wanted my money back, but I was so sad and I couldn't bring myself to do much other than focus on him and move on with my life. I'll never get another dog after this experience.
