    The trash can looking urn.
    Steph T.

I am seriously disappointed with the quality of my pets urn and the cremation certificate. The certificate looks like a child cut it out , it's completely uneven and my cats urn looks like a trash can. I paid over $400 and losing my cat was so agonizing and to have him come back looking like a marble trash can. I will never recommend these people to anyone, you're better off paying for another urn separately, on second thought go somewhere else.

Thank you for taking care of my best friend during his journey to the rainbow bridge. I love his urn. I miss him so much but I'm glad you made this a tad bit easier

This is a beautiful, well maintained place. I give it my highest recommendation. Very impressive in every way. Thank you for your help.

When My cat passed, they held him until we decided how to lay him to rest, top service and very compassionate.

I never write reviews, but this one needed to happen. If some of these issues happened to me,…read morechances are it has happened to others. There is much more to this, but this is the summary of my experience with "compassionate" care. Just an overall horrible experience and horrible business transaction. We got off to a good start with this company. Up unto dropping our dog off to go through the aquamation everything went well. Our requests were to get our blankets back (we made this very clear), which were going to go in our bed with my wife and I. We wanted her remains put into the same urn as her brother's remains which we also brought in. We wanted both names on the name plate for the urn. Our requests could not have been any clearer. We were guaranteed our requests would be met. Once they got our money everything went completely downhill. Numerous unanswered texts, phone calls, and voicemails to check status and make sure everything was ok. Something seemed off. It was supposed to take a week from what Bryan said. Took almost 3 weeks to get the remains back. During this time, I had asked about our blankets we wanted back. Bryan informed us these blankets could have been thrown away, donated, or something. He said his commercial laundering company could have them, and he would investigate it. No call back no update. He would not give out the name of this commercial laundry company to me, I would of gone there myself to look for these. Confronted him on that. Said they would bring them back the following week and he would call, which he never did. Again. In picking up our remains and rather upset about the blankets I look over and there is just one dogs name on the plate, remember I asked for both dog names on the plate. I called him out on this, and he tried to tell me both names are on the urn... on the bottom on a sticker tag which also had our address/information on it. He tried to pass this off as that's what I asked for. It is clearly not names on the plate, and he knows this, but still tried to pass it off anyways. This is also the same tag that's on the envelope they give you, with your address on it. My wife and I had to order our own plate. He kept dragging me along in the blanket situation as if he was trying to hide something and knew it. Also, we did not get our other urn back, so they are likely using our other dog's urn for their other customers. I didn't even think of this at the time as I was so heated about everything. The one thing that did happen we asked for was both bags of remains were in the same urn. Other than that, this whole process was as far as a business transaction went was a disaster. No accountability, no apology, crappy communication, most important requests to the customer not met, making excuses, no effort to make any bit of this right. He had said that he does donate and could have donated these blankets to Young At Heart, which is a senior dog adoption center in the area. In speaking with the lady who works there, they said they had never gotten any donations from Bryan or "Compassionate" Care, nor would they take blanket donations from a cremation center for a number of reasons. So, Bryan straight up lied about that all together. Who does that? Seriously. Absolutely pathetic to say the least. All of this was a great example of how not to treat customers. An even better example of how not to do business and how not to handle a big mess up on their behalf. We will not be returning to "compassionate" care, which is unfortunate because we did like the process of the aquamation. I have plenty more to say, but this is the gist of it. Bryan was absolutely horrible to deal with after the money was paid. This was supposed to be a big bittersweet closure to moving on from 2 dogs I had for 16 plus years, and these people stained that closure. They didn't follow through with anything to make it right. I would give a 0 if I could.

They used the excuse that they were out of urns. And then all of a sudden when the police were involved, these people show up with like 40 different remains. Very disappointing and concerning experience…read more After paying for extensive diagnostics, including lab work with clearly abnormal values, the primary focus of this clinic was repeatedly pushing an expensive prescription diet for a 8 lbs $78 bag of dog kibble, rather than addressing the actual medical findings or symptoms that brought us in. Requests for clarification and discussion of the lab abnormalities were met with defensiveness rather than explanation. Instead of offering a diagnostic plan or symptom management, the clinic defaulted to referral -- despite this being a condition that is routinely evaluated and treated by competent general practitioners. The doctor who called with Bella's lab results (who did not examine my dog in person), demonstrated extremely poor bedside manner during our phone conversation. The interaction felt condescending and non-collaborative. When I questioned the sole focus on diet and expressed concern that something systemic was being missed, the response became dismissive and increasingly defensive. Rather than engaging in a medical discussion, the recommendation was repeatedly pushed without addressing the underlying lab abnormalities. Unfortunately, the doctor that Bella did see in person, I did request for her to call me. This call was also disappointing. Her approach and tone differed significantly from the initial visit, once another doctor's plan had been established, and my concerns were minimized rather than explored. I left with the impression that questioning the initial recommendation was unwelcome, and that meaningful dialogue about next steps was not a priority. I was left feeling gaslit at the end of our conversation. The main issue with this call is that this doctor already knew before calling me, that Bella would not be patient she continues to manage care for. In her eyes Bella is "complex" even with very straightforward findings and clinical symptoms. I have ultimately already sought care elsewhere and was immediately met with thoughtful evaluation, clear communication, and an appropriate diagnostic plan for a Cushing work up, which is indicative of the lab findings from Wheaton Animal Hospital work up this week. This was all able to be done efficiently without confusion -- all at a "general animal hospital", without unnecessary referral to internal medicine. They do not see Bella's case as complex, at all. I left feeling that critical lab findings were minimized, my concerns were not heard, and my dog's comfort was not prioritized. I would not return, and I strongly recommend that pet owners seeking thorough, attentive medical care consider other options.
