Even though I live in Midtown, which can be a 20-30 minute drive to Elk Grove, the service is well worth the distance. Zola's coat was so overgrown that she was slipping and sliding on hardwood floors, and could barely see because her hair was long and falling over her eyes. The services we've had: bath, trim, ears cleaned, anal glands expressed, teeth brushed. Also comes with your choice of a cute bandana. I would NOT recommend the Paw Spa. I have been taking my dogs here for a year and the price was 8 dollars to get their nails cut. Today, I took my dog here and she was nervous and whining. It took 2 min to cut her nails and they charged me 16 dollars because it took 2 people to cut her nails. THEY HAVE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE. It should not be DOUBLE THE PRICE because my dog was nervous. They also play music that is LOUD AND UNSETTLING which does not give a good environment for the animals. Excellent groomers! First time coming here in Elk Grove and I liked how they did not ask for every little detail of my information being a new customer. The place is extremely clean and they are taking clients during this time. The wait is about 6 weeks out but well worth it. They were extremely professional and took care of my Pomeranian. Very accommodating on a last minute call. Was able to squeeze my small dog in for a bath, hair cut, nail trim, anal expression and brush my dogs teeth. They did a great job and my dog who typically has anxiety in these situations was happy and normal following picking him up. Booked an early appointment for my Akita today and missed it. Called in and they let me drop her off to get her groomed in the afternoon. They were also able to accommodate my two shibas in the same appointment. Our lab hates getting her nails trimmed. We sedated her and took her to the vet today to have her nails trimmed since our other dog had an appointment. The vet techs were unable to trim her nails. We took her to Paw Spa and they calmly trimmed her nails in less than 5 minutes. This is the third time they've trimmed her nails and we've never had an issue. read more

I already have my go to grooming place but they couldn't fit her in until next month so I could my dog here because, she needed a haircut really bad. They did an awesome job with her and did what I wanted & great customer service. So cute how they have everything decorated absolutely loved it. The thing was the charge was a lot for me around 60$ + 1$ because there machine charges $1 if you use card. It sucks because they charge for anal glands and where ever I go it's included. I love this place. I have 3 huge dogs. Only one of them is excited to go and one has actually been so scared at the vet that sent him home. Referred to this place by the Bruceville Pet Hospital. Originally called them for my dog to get his anal gland expressed, and they said it would just be cheaper to go to a groomers. Called and they didn't answer, but the voicemail said you could text them and they will respond in between clients. They said were able to take my dog in the day of, which is always really nice to hear. Also, I was surprised that glands were only $5. So I got both of my dogs done! And their nails trimmed for $5. It was quick as well. 5 minutes or less for each dog. Notes: Bath & Brush is $30 which includes bath, brush, ears, sanitary, and a free bandana. read more

Despite my nervous wreck of a dog visibly shaking while waiting a few minutes in the lobby, everything went smoothly. My only negative was that I was hoped they'd take a little more off the claws, but I also didn't specify how overgrown they'd gotten, figured that'd be apparent to someone who grooms as a profession. Wow! My dogs can be a little nervous and skittish. When we first got there we were greeted quickly. My dog had an accident in the lobby because she was nervous and Matt was super nice about it and cleaned it up quickly. He was able to clean both of my bloodhounds and even expressed one of their glands without me having to ask. Prices are good compared to a lot of places around! Staff is friendly and responds very fast as well online. I took my corgi in and anyone with corgis know how much they shed and how much brushing is needed. When I picked him up, his trim was beautiful and nails were cut as well which I'm happy with considering he's anxious when anyone touches his nails! Unfortunately I feel like time wasn't taken when brushing him out. He had loose hair all over him when I picked him up and could still pull out a bunch of his coat when running my fingers through his fur. It had looked like they were super busy and had taken on a big work load but I would hope that next time they don't just squeeze him in and actually take time when it came to brushing him out. Im so glad i found this place, ive taken my dog here for the second time and they always do a great job. They are close to my house which is nice and they are very accommodating. They are appointments only so you do have to call ahead. They always treat koda (husky malamute mix) so good. They care about making the animals comfortable and making them look their best. I was out of town and my English bulldog had gotten extremely muddy during our time at the park. I came in last minute and the owner and her son were so nice and took him in for a bath.
