As far as eyeglasses, she has a wide array or styles and prices. I tried to say money twice and took her prescription elsewhere. Both times, I had problems with the lenses. As a professional calligrapher, my vision must be very clear. The cheaper lenses were just not right; vision areas for trifocals were all wrong and had to be redone. That never happened with the staff at her office. I wouldn't trust my eyesight to anyone else for my yearly checkup.

Drops went in at 3:55 and the Doc didn't return for a half hour, after saying she'd be back in 15-20. I made the appt at 3:00 with another meeting at 4:30 figuring never in life would an eye exam take longer than an hour, let alone 90 minutes. Maybe my expectations are a bit too high. Who knows?

I called to see if they had any appts for the afternoon (it was a Friday). They asked what my issue was and after telling them, they told me to come right over. Now getting there was interesting. I was coming from the south and Waze told me at the Sample Road exit, to take the 2 left lanes and make a left. Well, when you do that, you've passed the place because the entrance is further east. I had to do a U-turn. It was still a little confusing because there isn't any signage that tells you that the first entrance once you make the U-turn is where you need to enter. They're doing construction at the hospital which makes it even more confusing. I finally made it and entered the building. Their office is on the 2nd floor. I got checked in and filled out the required paperwork. They were concerned that my retina detached but after viewing the images that were taken, that didn't happen. Dillon, who did the images of my eyes, was very personable with a great sense of humor. The female doctor whom I saw (I don't remember her name) was also fantastic. She got an eyeball to show and explain what was happening with my eye. I was there for about 3 hours which seems like the average time that I've spent at my regular eye doctor's office.

David Rand assured me he operated on single vision people all the time.Dr Rand did a fabulous,unbeleavable operation ,not only can I read but i no longer need glasses except for my computer use.I am shocked at this result. And they don't try to make you spend $ on stuff you don't need. In fact, last time I went for a contact lense appointment, even though I have astigmatism in one eye, the Dr suggested I get the same rx for both eyes to save $ and it worked fabulously - my lenses have been great (I think the astigmatism is very slight - and every other Dr I've seen made my get 2 separate RXes). I emailed them today (a Sunday) requesting my RX and I expected a response in a few days. Imagine my surprise when I got a response a few hours later. I really can't say enough good things about them, and as long as I live here & they take my insurance, I'll be going here. Keep up the great work guys!
