Everyone was super nice and super efficient and super helpful ! I found out after my visit that I was actually not even seeing the primary doctor... I got the substitute! And she was amazing! My visit was good. I came for contact. The staff was attentive and professional. My waiting time was not long. I had a really good consultation with the doctor Pawlak. He was excellent. I walked into the store to ask a simple question of am I able to use the frames that I have right now and just replace my lenses. The older man behind the desk was very rude. Told me it could cost me $500 plus without even asking what I wanted. Didn't even look at me when he was talking to me. I have never come across anyone as rude and as arrogant as this person, I would never go back there again and I am a big businesswoman who would not recommend this to any of my clients or patients you need to fire this man. I went to the visionworks on North Federal highway to pick up my glasses both pair of glasses the lenses were not correct and I was told that they were correct and I would have to have a new eye exam and the lady in the front said that no problem we'll do it for free we want to make you happy and guess what that was not the case so I waited for an hour and then the young man who collects the money said to me oh there is a $75 fee after I was told it would be a free exam because of the fact the lenses were not correct this place is a sham they charge overpriced and I think the place needs a revamp on the staff they say one thing and they do another there are many places to go and get your eyes checked and order glasses this is not one of them unfortunately I have been a customer for many years and I'm very disappointed in the service and the staff read more

My glasses broke unexpectedly and I was told that it would be 10 days before I could receive the new pair. Not knowing what to do, my salesperson Carmelo went beyond the call of duty and was able to place my old lenses in the new frames until my new pair of glasses could arrive. This was really important as I could not only see anything (lol), but had a big event planned for the weekend. A very unpleasant experience, made me feel like a fool. I went in there in February of this year. The glasses I had were quite old and it was time for an upgrade. They talked me into transitional glasses. Right away after getting them , I took them back and said they didn't work for me and I didn't exactly know why. I took in an old pair and asked them what is the difference? They never would tell me, but the glasses they made were much too strong. I was to an appointment with Dr. Joseph at this location yesterday. I wanted an eye exam and have contact lenses fitted. I only waited 10 minutes to be seen. He did a quick, but through examination and had contact lenses on hand that fit perfectly. What is even better, they are so comfortable, I didn't even feel the contact in my eye. I can see perfect! Dr. Joseph is a caring optometrist that listened to what I want and uses common sense in his suggestions and advice. I have been to many optometrists in the past and he is the best. read more

I have been a customer here for a number of years. I went this year to buy the 2 pair sale, like I did last year, for my mother and have her return later in the week to pick out her glasses. The sale was ending before she would be in town with me. They gave me a very hard time. Told me I could not do it, even though I did it before. I had to call and speak with a general manager at another location to get the deal. Melissa at the Pompano branch just did not want to do what was needed or didn't understand how to do it. Since I am fairly new to the area, I was looking for a new Optometrist as I need new Rx sunglasses. I called on Friday for an appointment and they were able to get me in the next day. The staff was friendly and helpful. Steve assisted me with choosing new frames and helped me with my order. I haven't received my glasses yet but was given an estimated time-frame of 1 week to receive them as my lenses had to be ordered. The doctor was very thorough and professional. Unfortunately, the staff must be on commission. Celeste assisted me to find frames etc. She gave me a price of over $ 400! If you are unaware of what your insurance covers or don't ask questions, she will quote you the most expensive frames, additional coatings, everything. I called my vision insurance rep and received a breakdown of what Celeste was trying to sell me. What I needed was only $ 75. A big difference from $ 400. So, Celeste is a great scam artist. Other than the large selection of frames here, I would stay away. TERRIBLE customer service. I was told that my lenses and glasses would be in by August 19 (but that my lenses would come in sooner probably) and that I would get a call as soon as they were ready. August 20 I had heard nothing so I called. When I finally spoke with someone after being on hold forever they informed me that my glasses and lenses (to be placed into my old frames) were ready. When I went to pick them up I was waiting for a very long time before I actually got assisted with hardly anyone in the store. They gave me my new pair of glasses but told me that the lenses weren't ready and that they would be in by August 22nd and that they would call me. Well today is August 28 and I still had not heard back from them so I decided to call and ask about my lenses which they said were ready after being placed on hold for a good 10 minutes. I went to pick them up at 1:30 and they said that they wouldn't be ready til later today. I am so frustrated with the fact that I paid $489 for the worst service I have ever received.
