My sweet dogs who have crossed
    Mari M.

Dr. Allie has assisted two of my dogs over rainbow bridge over the past year. Obviously having to use her services twice within a year was not what you want as a dog owner, but it was honestly nice to see a kind familiar face. The whole situation was horrible, two of my dogs getting two different types of cancer within a year of each other. Dr. Allie was so gentle and informative with my two year old who was present for one of the appointments. She truly listens, the service was great after, I got my most recent dog's cremation remains a week later, and her urn a few days after that. I recommended her to a friend and she has had to use her twice as well. Can't recommend enough even though reason can be heartbreaking.

I have worked in the veterinary field for over 10 years and I haven't met many vets as sincere and compassionate as Dr. Moran. She is an angel. End of life care for one's pet is never easy, even for someone who has experienced the process many time its still absolutely devastating losing them. I was struggling with receiving the news our sweet kitties cancer had spread so quickly. She was so caring and made me feel validated in the difficult decision to put our sweet kitty to rest sooner rather than hold on, knowing we had done everything we could for him. She explained every single step and gave us as much time as we needed. Her calm demeanor put my entire family at ease and just made those final moments so peaceful for our sweet boy after this difficult journey. Thank you again for everything that you do! -The Scott Family

Dr. Moran is an angel. When you get to the end of your dog's life, all you can hope for is a peaceful, gentle transition. Dr. Moran reassured us that we were making the right decision. She was so sweet with our pup, and made sure he was comfortable and explained every step to us all along the way. We are so grateful. We received a clay paw print, an ink nose print, and an ink paw print accompanied by a beautiful sympathy card from Dr. Moran just a few days later. One thing I want to highlight that makes Pawprints so exceptional is their website. I couldn't find a single other Seattle area in home euthanasia company that had online scheduling and transparent pricing. The ease of making an online appointment is such a gift when you're making such an emotionally difficult choice. It was a huge relief to not have to make a phone call. Thank you for everything, Dr. Moran.

I highly recommend Dr Moran with Pawprints if you need assistance sending your fur baby over the rainbow bridge. The love and compassion that she showed to my family and my puppers showed me she truly cares!

Apparently THIS VETERINARY OFFICE is unable to provide such a service and their Vets, Dr. Eibey and Dr. Tomlisson couldn't be bothered to talk to me face to face or via phone to discuss the matter. After being relegated to the office manager Wendy, she stated they do not provide that type of service however as I explained 3 other Veterinarians within 5 mile radius do she certainly had many excuses why they couldn't do it......too many things can go wrong, we don't have the time, and yes we would charge $100 if we did, etc. ? So I contacted Wilderness Veterinary, 1 block away and they do provide the necessary letter, detailed information about dog's condition and prescriptions in Spanish that is required when taking a pet over the border. Additionally, Wilderness was bewildered why Mountainside couldn't pull that off, ME TOO. Unfortunately, but as expected I had to establish my dog as a patient at Wilderness Vet and pay $100 that I should not have had to pay if Mountainside was a reputable Veterinarian. In addition, I found Mountainside Veterinary extremely EXPENSIVE, $1000 for blood work, 2 xrays, 2 prescriptions and consultation......I've gone to emergency services for 1/2 the price.

Shortly after, my application was approved and I was able to pick them up! Because they were so young, I needed to bring them back one more time for their last round of shots, which was included in their adoption fees. In general, the fees were slightly higher than you might see on your average shelter, but I think it is because they are a vet clinic and rehabilitation center rather than shelter, so they don't operate on a donation model. I didn't mind paying the higher fee because I could tell they were very well organized. I got pamphlets with all of their medical history, they were microchipped, neutered, spayed, and all vaccinations explained and prepared before I got them. They gave me advice on food and introducing the kittens to my home. When I brought the kittens back for their last round of shots, all I had to do was pull up and let them know I had arrived. A vet nurse came and picked them up from my car, took them in and they were done quick. They were a little tired and shaken up but nothing too bad. This is a great place in general, it's a bit far from where I live but it was worth going here! The two kittens are happy, healthy, friendly, and adjusting well to their new home. Reason for 4 stars: I had a few questions I wanted to ask the vet on my second time visit, but due to the way it's setup I never actually got to go inside or interact with anyone. It wasn't a big deal, but it would have been nice to float a few random questions I had to the vet. I assume that once covid restrictions end that it will be easier to have face to face again.

I adopted a 6 month old kitten here in March for $400. The kitten came with no papers or tags so I…read moredid not know that she is not licensed and hasn't been de-wormed. Every cat I have adopted in the past came with tags for license and rabies and was treated for fleas and dewormed. When I got the cat home, she had an oozing left eye and diarrhea. I waited a couple weeks for it to go away. Then I called them and told them what was happening and that the kitten came with these conditions. They said to bring her in for a check-up and after some discussion agreed to cover the visit. When I tried to put the kitten in the cat carrier, she went feral and scratched and bit me which turned into an infection. When I got there, I asked the staff if they had given me a feral cat. They wouldn't answer. I asked the doctor if she was feral and I needed to get a different cat. The doc said that they would clip her nails and put soft sock on her claws and to give it another try before returning the kitten. They had to put the kitten under to do that. The doc told me that her litter mate had Giardia so my cat probably did too. She also said my cat had gingivitis and an eye virus. This place keeps about 15 cats in one room in a trailer. So they all probably have Giardia and eye viruses. They gave me medication for my cat and said I had to pay for it. I said the cat already had these conditions when I adopted her and they had agreed to cover the visit so I shouldn't have to pay. At this point they grabbed my cat carrier with the cat inside and ran to the back and refused to give her back unless I paid! I could hear the doctor telling them to take the cat from me. I couldn't believe this unprofessional behavior. I ended up paying. I told the doc that I was mislead about the cat and the visit which is why I was asking questions. She said something like it must be a "cultural" thing (I am not Caucasian). Not only is she rude and misleading, she also makes racist remarks. All very shocking to say the least. While I was waiting I read the pamphlet for Cat Scratch Disease (Bartonella) which has very serious consequences to adults like organ failure if scratched by a diseased cat. My cat had the symptoms so I asked them to test her for it. Not only am I infected by the scratch, I may have a serious disease! If I hadn't read the pamphlet and asked for her to be tested, they wouldn't have done it even though the doctor saw she had symptoms. They said they would let me know the results in 2 weeks. This whole experience has been very stressful and I feel bad for the cat I adopted because through no fault of hers, she may have to be returned just when she though she had a forever home They are doing a service by taking in stray cats but they are taking no responsibility for adopting out unlicensed cats with parasite and viruses. I just hope my older cat did not catch the parasite and virus. They are spreading diseases. I don't recommend adopting cats here because you could get feral cat with parasites and viruses like I did. Go to Auburn Humane Shelter. They charge $150 and their cats are licensed, have rabies shots and are dewormed and healthy.

After a difficult experience elsewhere, finding Pine Tree Vet felt like such a relief. When our dog became very sick, they made room for us, accommodated us whenever they could, and treated her with so much gentleness and care. Every staff member we interacted with was kind, sweet, and truly cared about her. Dr. LeFevre and the team explained treatment options, medications, and difficult decisions clearly and compassionately. They called to check in, and Dr. LeFevre personally called me multiple times, which made an incredibly hard situation feel less lonely. The front desk staff also deserves so much credit. Compared to other vet offices I've been to, the reception team at Pine Tree Vet is caring, attentive, sweet, competent, and professional. That makes such a huge difference because they're the first people you call and interact with when your pet needs help. Having people who are kind, considerate, and capable on the front lines makes an already stressful situation feel much more manageable. I'll always be thankful for the care, compassion, and professionalism they showed our dog and our family. I'd highly recommend Pine Tree Vet to anyone looking for a veterinary office that truly cares.

Their pricing for the feline spay surgery was reasonable, and procedure was pretty straightforward. Drop off the pet around 8-9am, and pick up around noon. There was a bit of a line during pickup because one of their machines was down, so they had to serve all customers AND answer the phone. It must've been quite busy for them. They gave detailed instructions for aftercare, as well as the pain & antibiotic medicine. I think we found our kitty's new regular vet. :)

One of the most traumatic and negligent veterinary experiences I've ever had…read more I trusted this clinic with my dog's life, and that trust was profoundly misplaced. Over the course of treatment, they performed four surgeries that were later confirmed to be unnecessary, putting my dog through repeated anesthesia, pain, and recovery for no legitimate medical reason. Their lack of proper diagnosis, poor judgment, and complete disregard for the physical toll on my dog nearly cost her her life. At no point were we given clear explanations, alternative options, or convincing medical justification for why surgery after surgery was supposedly required. Each procedure created more complications, more suffering, and more fear. What makes this unforgivable is that much of this could have been avoided with competent care, thorough diagnostics, and basic professional caution. Instead, we were met with confidence without competence, and reassurance that turned out to be dangerously wrong. The emotional distress this caused our family -- watching our dog deteriorate because we followed professional advice -- is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. Veterinary care requires trust, and this clinic shattered it. I strongly urge pet owners to seek second opinions before consenting to any major procedures here. Had we done so earlier, my dog may have been spared immense pain and trauma.
