The dogs are allowed on furniture so its nice to know they aren't getting yelled at to get off the couch every 5 minutes. -Special needs. My dog requires medicine twice daily, and has some slight arthritis. Deborah addresses this appropriately. Overall, it is a great service offering all the reliability, perks, and benefits of a multi-employee staff, but with a more personal, cost effective approach.

I felt obligated to write a review, because I think it's very important to understand what you're going to experience (especially due to all the 5 star reviews). I think most dog owners think of themselves as dog parents as I do, so I was really hesitant to kennel or send my dog off with a stranger. Deborah was quite prompt with emails, and requires you to go to her house for a 30-minute, $20 consultation. No big deal if I was satisfied with the visit...but I wasn't, and honestly, I feel like I paid her to torture me for an hour. What could I have bought with that 20$? a meal, a shirt, a car wash? I don't know, anything would have been better. I opened the door and was immediately greeted by a giant mob of about 10-12 dogs. It definitely threw me off because when Deborah had mentioned I needed to book quickly, she said could only have a "handful" of dogs at any given minute. I assumed that meant....5? (at the most). Her house is essentially a dog park. They are allowed on furniture, and have in and out privileges. Good for the dogs, because they definitely know who is boss and run wild. Her roommate was spraying dogs with water bottles because they're misbehaving. For 30+ minutes I watched another dog follow my dog around and hump him while he tried to escape. Yes, my dog is submissive, but Deborah commented several times about how he was, "standoffish," "doesn't know how to play," and asking me if I ever take him to dog parks. Are you kidding me? I take him to the dog park all the time, and he's fine. I felt like she was constantly questioning my dog parenting, because she gave me several comments such as that throughout the hour. This is also ridiculous, because he was one of the most well behaved dogs there, and definitely is trained not standoffish. The biggest problem I had was her own dog's nails were yellow, long and curled over...which honestly, it's what, 10 minutes and $8 for a nail trim? She also works during the day, so the dogs are unsupervised while she's out, and she doesn't walk them either. So... basically, you are giving her money for a storage space. I might as well leave my dog outside in my own much larger backyard with a giant trough of food/water, because it's the same exact thing. There are plenty of other people who will watch and walk your dog for the same price, have only 1-2 dogs at one time, and even send you photo updates. I know this sounds extremely negative, but it's how I felt. She's a nice lady (as is her roommate), and I know she genuinely loves her dogs, but the environment is just not what I was looking for.

She was very communicative, was flexible with a meet and greet, and did a pick up and drop off for my dog which was a great time-saver. Adding another update after my visit yesterday…read more My dog has been having mucus-y breathing, and they got me in after a cancellation. Their protocols for keeping all pets safe is AMAZING. They asked me to stay in my car for check in, until they made sure he was not sick or contagious. The front desk staff remembers owners and their pets, even though they are extremely busy and have so many patients. Walking in and having them greet my dog by name sets the tone of how my baby's health and wellness will be handled. Dr. Bellers and Dr. Davison - I just don't even have the words to explain the intelligence, professionalism, and kindness of these two ladies. They are beyond patient and kind. I have an English Bulldog, which generally requires a specialist, and they both know his breed up and down. They are both beyond well-versed in taking care of ALL breeds of dogs, even the most complicated ones. The plans of action are thoroughly explained with both Dr. Bellers and Dr. Davison. They walk through why they chose the treatment plan, and why they didn't choose a different treatment plan depending on the situation. Without any knowledge on allergies with dogs, I now feel comfortable with anything that comes up, because both of these doctors explained all reasoning, treatments, and courses to solve the problem, and any future ones if they were to come up. My baby is cared for by this top of the line staff, and I could not be more thankful. I have been to this vet about 40 times now, and have NEVER had a bad experience. Always greeted with a smile, always cared for with precision, and ALWAYS sent the receipt and visit summary. I could go on forever about the care team at LGDC.

I highly recommend Martha at Doggie Grooming Styles! I adopted my little girl at the beginning of…read morethe pandemic and she has allergies, anxiety, luxating patella in both legs and a litany of other health issues so she has had many visits to the vet. She hated going to the vet for nail trims so I had to sedate her and she would whine and cry on the drive there. She has fast growing extremely long black nails that need to be trimmed every 3 weeks and squirminess so she often got cut at the vet. I started to take her to Martha 2 years ago and I honestly think she loves her more than she loves me. I no longer need to sedate her and no more cuts! She also whines and cries on the short drive to Doggie Grooming Styles and though she is strapped in, will try to jump out of the car but now it is because she can't wait to get to Martha for her mani-pedi. We run from the car and she causes such an uproar when she gets in and all 22 pounds of her tries to tear down the gate to get to her true love. They have their own routine and route where after her nail trim she parades around the shop with Martha greeting each groomer to get her pats.
