I was a new client looking for a go-to spot for my two small Pomeranians. Unfortunately, I will not be taking them back. The groomer 1) did not follow directions, 2) charged me more than what was quoted, and 3) insisted I pay in cash or check. First, I asked the groomer not to cut my dogs' hair. When I got there to pick them up, I saw she cut both of them and it was super choppy. :( Second, when I called to make an appt, I was quoted $70-90 since my dogs are 5 and 6 lbs respectively. When I checked out, she said my dogs would be $120/each. Nowhere on the price list does it say $120, by the way. I said I didn't ask to get them cut, she said it was a touch up and she said they are medium size dogs. I'm like what? She pointed to the sign and said it's because they are over 12". I'm like huh? It's a 5lbs dog, but either way, I was quoted $70-90. She said she could do $110/each. At that point, I didn't want to argue about how small my dogs are, but I know they are not over 12". Then, when it came to payment, she said the credit card machine wasn't working, so I had to pay in cash or check. Who carries checks or cash nowadays? I asked if they take Zelle or Venmo, and she said no. Ultimately, I went to the ATM to get her the cash, but I walked away thinking-- what kind of establishment is this that doesn't have transparent pricing, quotes me one thing and demands another, and doesn't take any forms of digital payment? A part of me thought she was just going to pocket the cash. ‍ At the end of the day, it's not the price-- like I'd rather the establishment just say upfront that it's $120 and $30 is for gratuity if that's the case... at least I know what I'm getting. read more

My first time bringing my baby here. Guillermo was his Groomer. He was polite and kind and he did a great job. He did what I asked as far as his haircut is concerned I appreciate how fast the service is. It took 1.5 hours to complete. It is a little bit more pricey than I normally pay for his size. But I'm willing to pay a little extra to get my baby home faster. I appreciate how they do not take so many dogs at one time and create them in between each step which takes so long and causes stress to my dog. My Meeko would see Guillermo again. This was the second time we've taken Loki, our extra-large Samoyed, to Pawsitively Groomed to be groomed by Gustavo, and we're very happy. Loki has a LOT of fur to wash and trim, but he came through clean, neat and dry without any mats or knots or tangles. Loki looked great afterwards, and seemed quite happy too. My husband and I were traveling and thought we should get Pebbles groomed if we saw one with amazing reviews. Our local groomer did the opposite of what we requested so we have been waiting to find the right place. We inquired about an appointment after we found Pawsitively and were able to get in a couple hours later. Pebbles is only a year and a half so we aren't sure how comfortable she will be in new surroundings. Everyone on the staff was very professional and pleasant. Our precious fur baby was done about one hour later and she looks just like the photos I presented. We are beyond pleased. We live about 4 hours south but have definitely found our NEW GROOMER!! Our Labradoodle has been groomed at Pawsitively Groomed Pet Salon for the past 7 years, and we couldn't be happier with their service. I book online and usually just choose my service based on the day and time that works for me, but because the groomers know my dog they usually work with me so that one of her "regulars" can fit her in. After moving from San Diego, my dogs needed a much needed grooming and bath appointment. Based off what was seen online in Google, this was a cheaper place to go with. We were running late the day of the appointment but made it in time. I had one dog for a bath and grooming and the other dog for a bath and slight trim. They're both 45-50 pound dogs. From their info board on site and verbal communication, they said it would be 3-4 hours. Our dogs were finished within two hours or so. They communicated via text. When we picked up the dogs, they were groomed and were happy. However for the services, it was way too expensive. The dog who got a groom and bath was $125 while the other dog who got a trim and bath was $105. Although Pawsitively Groomed did their job, their policies and price weren't comparable to other places. I won't be returning in the future as there's other groomers out there that are more accommodating, transparent, and cheaper. My gripes below: 1) They're very strict on time. Good for those who are ALWAYS on time but not that good if something comes up. If you're more than 10 minutes late, you'll be rescheduled (understandable). However, if you don't pick your dog up one hour after completion, you're charged $15. In my experience, groomers would give you end of day to pick up but here it seemed that you always had to keep your eyes on the phone for their text or else risk being charged for being "late". 2) They're a cash or check place only. If you want to pay card, you'll be charged an additional 4% for the transaction. 3) Once groomed, the dogs are put in kennels until pick up. When I picked up my dogs, I could see that the kennels were WAY too small for my dogs. read more

Sorry everyone, it looks like this place no longer takes dogs over 45 lbs. I used to bring my dog here because we live down the street and it was really convenient. They were always rushing the grooming (website says it takes 3-4 hours but realistically they only took 2) and my dog always comes back damp. But hey it was convenient so we kept going. They started tacking on fees then raised their prices. We still kept going. And then out of nowhere we received a text cancelling our appointment saying they didn't have enough staff and they're changing their sizing requirements. My dog is 45 lbs. The kicker was the same day we watched a large dog walk out of the groomer. I think they got tired of grooming my husky and decided they would rather do an easier coat breed than mine. Totally unprofessional and didn't answer my text when I asked them to clarify of new sizing requirements. read more

Prior to yesterday I would've rated 4.5 stars... We've been loyal, happy customers for several years, but suddenly yesterday were treated very unprofessionally. Yesterday when I came in to drop off our dog, our usual groomer said that he was too matted for her to take. I gently offered to take him home and remove the matted areas myself with a groomer's tool I have used once or twice before - honestly it didn't seem that bad to me, but I was trying to be helpful. The groomer said OK and that she would text me with a rescheduling. I brought him home and used the tool to brush out the matted areas - which are brushable/combable now. But an hour later we received a somewhat rude text that we can't bring our dog back. What happened? I would like to speak with the owner/manager about why our wonderful dog, was suddenly blacklisted out of thin air, without any warning or reason. We have been friendly, loyal, generous (tippers) And honestly puzzled why we were treated this way. read more

I decided to try this place out a couple years ago since I had taken Bella to a petsmart and I was left very disappointed. They had left her halfway groomed and did not even properly dry her.. however when I tried this place the first day it was like I never knew they could groom dogs like this. I was left speechless!!! Im always treated like family they always know who I am and know BELLA very well! And I always love how they put little stickers or bandana on her after leaves the perfect touch besides the perfect haircut and bath (always smells amazing) I've been coming here for a years now definitely recommend.
