I had a craving for a sweet midnight snack. We found this location by searching reviews on yelp. Since it was so late, I utilize the fantastic option "Open Now". Seriously what would we do without technology. We headed around 10:45PM. It was one of very few dessert places open until midnight. The staff member gave us several samples to try, and I finally landed on the hazelnut gelato. It was creamy and had a very natural hazelnut flavor. My husband selected the sea salt and caramel gelato. Both were very good, but I really enjoyed the hazelnut. If you're looking for a late night, treat this place definitely has a wide variety of gelato as well as a few baked goods. Thank you so much for the great service and cute shop.

I ALWAYS come here for gelato after watching a movie at the Majestic cinema next door - and it always hits the spot! It's a cute little spot and open until 11pm I believe, which is perfect after movie night. I love their ube gelato, though they used to have a plain one without mochi but now only have ube with mochi. This is also good but not as good as the plain one in my opinion. But the quality of gelato is top tier! All the flavors we have tried have been delicious, from the Madagascar chocolate, to the biscoff cookie, and vanilla. Absolutely delectable! The staff is also always super friendly, and they let you taste a few different flavors before committing. I usually go for the small size because you can get two flavors AND they give you quite a bit! Also, dont't forget get to ask for a stamp card :)

I love this spot! Pazzo Gelato produces small batches of fresh gelato daily sourced from local ingredients. They offer seasonal flavors and vegan options. I pretty much know what I'm going to order everytime I come here, but I still sample different flavors in case I change my mind. My favorites are coffee, salted caramel, and ube. I'm naturally drawn to these flavors, but can honestly say all of their gelato flavors are on point. The portions are great, too. Their small easily holds two full scoops. The staff is wonderful; always friendly and helpful. There's plenty of bar seating inside as well as outdoor seating to enjoy your gelato or coffee, which they also serve. They're open until 10pm or later, which is perfect for my late night sugar cravings!

No need to go to Italy, Pazzo Gelato will exceed your expectations! Great flavors and customer service! My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this shop and it has since become our go to dessert place. He loves the biscoff chip. On my most recent trip I got a small Red Velvet and it melted in my mouth. I wanted to go back in for more, it was so good. Definitely check this place out! They have plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy your tasty treats on a warm night.

Our favorites were the Lychee, Mango, Biscoff, and Almond. Very nice staff, and a wide selection, late night hours as well.

If you haven't tried gelato from Pazzo, you haven't truly tasted what REAL gelato tastes like. They create and change the flavors nearly each week, but they are always open to your feedback on what you would like to see back. Now that summer temperatures are in full swing, it's a great time to stop by and taste their deliciousness. The store is always clean and they have a few seats indoor as well as some tables outside. The staff is always friendly and so helpful! They welcome you trying the different flavor options so you can order something you love. I also love that they have sorbetto options and vegan options for those that are looking for that due to dietary restrictions. I also love the flair of asian flavors that include things like mochi, ube, thai tea etc. And best of all, patronizing this great place supports a small family-owned business. Check them out!

Pazzo Gelato is our family favorite neighborhood gelateria! The flavors here are amazing. I always go for the oolong tea flavor if they have it. The ube is also a hit everytime. To be honest, you cannot go wrong with any choice. They have rotating flavors as well so that's always fun. The employees are always so sweet here too. They are so enthusiastic and happy to let you try flavors if needed. Ambiance is family friendly. Price is decent and standard. Take advantage of their $9 last call pints!

We were in the area and friends recommended this place. Very cute little spot with some indoor and outdoor seating. They have a good variety of flavors and several sorbetto flavors. Seems they have some flavors that they rotate out/are seasonal. You can get 2 different flavors in the small or medium and 3 different ones in the large, which is awesome. I got a small with Ube and biscoff scoops. Both flavors were SO GOOD!! My first time having an ube flavored treat and I really enjoyed it. The scoops were very generous!! They had a sign that they do happy hour pricing for $4 for the small which is a great deal. Definitely check them out if you're in the area!

This place is D A N G E R O U S. I have been here two times already in less than a week. I have gotten my family and friends addicted too. In less than a week I've seen one rotation in flavors, all amazing. I love how I can taste the pride in these sorbettos and gelato flavors. Definitely my newest gelato spot. Atmosphere is wonderful and fun, very clean and staff is very knowledgeable and nice. We will probably be here weekly. Give them a try!!

Dessert spot that opens late! I love their gelatos! SUPER DELICIOUS! My favorites are the oolong milk tea and ube Mochi! Staff is super friendly! You can sample the flavors. I definitely recommend the oolong milk tea! Already thinking about my next visit! There are seating indoors and outdoors available.

Best gelato in the east valley. They're open late as well! Got the Oolong milk tea and ube mochi. They're gelatos are very rich and smooth, not icy. The scoops are extra large and very generous! The double scoop was half a pint. The Asian flavors are extra good. I'm in love with the oolong in particular.

As a health food vegan, I am always on the lookout for food like this: whole foods/plant-based, including some oil-free options. Their whole menu reads like a list of my favorite food buzzwords: buckwheat, lentil cauliflower scramble, sunflower seed meat, local fermented sauerkraut, freshly milled Sonoran wheat; tempeh, sourdough, homemade seeded bread, homemade cashew milk, etc. etc. It was legitimately hard to decide what to get. I went with the baked(!) strawberry banana oat buckwheat pancakes. Super tasty, and a generous portion. I also couldn't resist an oil-free sunbutter cookie (with its wacky bluegreen tinge that was apparently from the sunflower seeds) and also loved the cold brew coffee with cashew milk.

It wasn't busy when I stopped by, just one couple dining in, but they had a few bags for takeout so that seems to keep them busy. Ambiance was nice with good amount of seating. I decided to have lunch in the nearby preserve and I enjoyed my food. I ordered the chickn sandwich, buffalo style, with a side of fries. The sandwich was delicious! Loved the flavors and it was filling. I'm glad I got it Buffalo style because the spiciness was great. The fries tasted good but were soft rather than crispy, which is what I prefer. I also got a side of cheez sauce ($2) which was pricey considering the size, and it didn't taste like cheese or anything similar. I would pass on this in the future. I ordered their Brussels sprouts which came with a side of tahini sauce, but they were salty and yummy so the sauce wasn't necessary imo. Overall I love vegan food and I wish there were more restaurants that serve it. This spot is solid and I'd come back to try other menu items and support them.

One thing they do very well is efficiency without losing hospitality. They have both a dine-in ordering counter and a dedicated to-go counter, which seems necessary because this place stays packed. Even during busy times, the staff stays friendly, attentive, and organized. You can tell there's real attention paid to each order and that management understands how to run a smooth restaurant operation. The menu has a lot of solid choices whether you want something lighter, comforting, vegetarian, or protein-packed. The restaurant offers a variety of seating options: outside patio, high-top outdoor seating, inside bar seating, and traditional indoor dining. We arrived in that sweet spot between lunch and happy hour, so the restaurant was quiet and relaxed, exactly how we like it. Drinks My Blue Hawaiian ($15) was absolutely amazing, it really hit the spot, and I was still feeling great when we left! My husband ordered the Pizza Port Chronic ($5) and said it was a nice, refreshing change of pace. Our Server Andrew Andrew greeted us immediately, walked us through both the food and drink menus, and was genuinely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He was the highlight of our visit. Exceptional service. Appetizer Butter Board & Bread We started with the Butter Board ($14), served with toasted bread. The butter itself, whipped with ricotta, herbs, and what I believe was a honey drizzle, was absolutely delicious. My only note is that the bread edges were toasted a bit too dark for my taste, leaving a slightly burnt crust flavor and aroma. Entrées I ordered the Seared Scallops ($48), which were plated with white potatoes, purple potatoes (possibly ube), and sausage over a rich sauce. Unfortunately, the purple potatoes had a burnt taste that was off-putting, and I wasn't able to finish much of my meal. My husband, on the other hand, thoroughly enjoyed his Grilled Striped Bass ($48), beautifully plated and well-executed. Final Thoughts While my entree missed the mark this visit, Andrew's outstanding service and the overall ambience more than carried the experience. The space is gorgeous, the concept is lovely, and I can absolutely see returning when the seasonal menu refreshes. In my opinion, it's worth a second chance, we will be back.
