The pizza here is extremely delicious. I tried this place because it was in the Lionshead village and close to my hotel. The inside is decently sized and didn't have any issues with seating times. They have a small bar inside. I ordered the Greek salad and it was good, the salads only come in one size and it's barely enough for 2 people to share. I had the supreme pizza and it was amazing. The crust was thin and crispy, which is how I prefer my pizza. I even ate the crust, which I NEVER do because it was so thin and crispy. I enjoyed my meal so much that I return the next day again. The second day I ordered the Da'Kine pizza. Which is basically a Hawaiian pizza with green bell peppers and it was amazing. I would have never thought that bell peppers would pair so well with pineapple and Canadian bacon. I was just at this place on Saturday 11/21/20 having a great time visiting Vail for the first time with a friend and his brother. While we were waiting for our pizza the waiter came to place the pizza stand on the table and ended up spilling my friends ENTIRE BEER all over his pants (including his underwear) and sweatshirt and mask (that was on the table). He then proceeds to go get towels and cleans up the table first BEFORE even handing my friend a towel to wipe himself off. So as you can imagine my friend is standing there drenched in beer waiting while the table is being cleaned. He comes and refills the beer as expected and brings our food and we eat (because we were starving). Now its November and its 40 degrees outside and my friend is SOAKING WET. Imagine we are not excited to go back outside. I am anticipating a FREE bill at this point because of the situation (we didn't order much). NOPE. Server brings the bill over and apologizes and says "Ive given you a discount". We look at the bill and the discount on our $50.00 bill was a whopping $4.95. WHAT????? Now I very well could have made a scene but I politely went to the server and told him we needed more than $5 off. He apologized again and took the bill and came back and gave us $10 off. I laughed and bc I didn't want to make a scene I just paid the $40.00 and left with no tip. Now I understand this was an accident and i feel bad for the server as well but my friend had to walk out in 40 degree weather and search for a store to buy NEW pants bc he was soaking wet and freezing cold. Vail is NOT a cheap place and the only pants he could find were $250.00 along with $30 boxers. The least the pizza place could have done was comp our $50 bill. I wish I would have spoken up more and demanded a bigger discount but hey hopefully a YELP will do because honestly I am very disappointed in how this was handled. I really like this place!! The only reason it gets a 4 and a 5 is that my husband ordered one calzone and got one with broccoli and stuff in it...,he didn't really enjoy it, but mine was awesome;) their vibe is kind of a blend between a skateboarders paradise and snowboarding (duh, I guess;) they have these little skeletons all over the place, I totally wanted to take the picture of the skeleton taking a bath! I'd go back....now I just need to figure out where the free parking is, because that $20/hr thing is BS. read more

I was sadly disrespected by a staff member while trying to order a beer while waiting for our table to open up. He had said " can't stand here!, can't stand here, go look for a waitress or something" It was during the U.S. Open while which created a very busy atmosphere at the time. We went in on 9/5. We sat inside, and were the only customers inside. After about 5 minutes (and no service), a few more parties came inside. In all, 3 other parties. After another few moments, a server finally came by....and took orders from the other parties. We honestly weren't expecting much, other than some average pizza in a kid-friendly environment. On the grand scheme of pizza parlors, Pazzo's Pizzeria is a 3. On the local Vail valley scheme of pizza, Pazzo's is a 5. Either way, the ambiance is fun and it is nice to have a place where people can bring their families, instead of the fine dining nightlife Vail brings. Pazzo's is always full at dinner time, so expect to wait for a while to sit down. Once you are there, assume that you will not be able to talk during the meal because it gets so loud. The server's are generally nice and pizza guy Norm is great (if he still works there). Eat the cheesy garlic bread...very tasty. read more

Pazzo's. I don't even know why they bother taking to go orders. They just deliver whatever they feel like anyway. Here's what we ordered: Spaghetti WITH meat sauce. After a very weird exchange with the dude taking my order (I kept asking for meat sauce and he kept saying marinara), I thought for SURE after the THIRD time he finally understood?? Cheese Garlic Bread. A dinner salad with NO tomatoes. An extra side of ranch. Here's what we got (after driving 20 minutes to pick up): Spaghetti WITH ONLY MARINARA SAUCE. Cheese garlic bread - with NO cheese. Tomatoes on the salad. NO extra side of ranch. I called and the same dude answered and said "I double checked the order with my manager, and it's all right." NO. Just no. Hope he enjoys his 20% tip for doing the exact opposite of what we paid for. I know that the restaurant industry can be difficult - as my family has been in it for over 30 years - but this is ridiculous. This is not rocket science. If an employee can't take a simple order over the phone - then maybe it's time for them to find something they can do. Ugh. read more

Neat location, pricing was not great but not bad either. What is sad is the pizza was tasty but very much of the ordinary, nothing special over the top or great quality. 3/16/15: Get here early as the weight times can be long since there are many large parties (6+) and it's a first come first serve establishment. So they will hold off seating a party of 2 or 3 to shove tables together. We started off with the garlic bread and them followed it up with our build your pizza. I rarely rate places extremely low but Pazzo's Pizzeria seemed to be extremely deserving. In not one aspect did they provide quality. To begin with we waited about 3 minutes to be seated at an empty restaurant, this was not a big issue but something worth mentioning. Once seated we looked at the menus and attempted to flag down a server, this took 15 minutes, in again a nearly empty restaurant. Third the order was taken down incorrectly and we were brought a drink that we did not order, luckily they figured that out and didn't charge us for it. The service failed miserably, even when we go to the point of asking for our check it took approximately 10 minutes for the waitress to bring us the bill after acknowledging our request, instead chatting with her friends and making out with a friend. Finally when we received the bill and attempted to pay she didn't pick it up for another five minutes at which point I decided to simply leave a bill as close to the actual amount (no tip was deserved) as possible and walk out. Now that you've read about the pathetic service let me tell you the food is not much better. The caesar salad dressing is extremely watery and tasteless, and at five dollars for a starter salad I expected more. It was EXTREMELY underwhelming food. I also tried their pizza which was average, nothing to write home about but better than the Old Dominos' slices but again overpriced and tasteless. My advice: Avoid this place at all costs...you'd do better going anywhere else in Vail Village than here. Ooh and just to tap on top of the lousy 1 star rating I'm begrudgingly giving them (not sure they deserve even 1, maybe .5 is deserved), they do not accept American Express and do not list this anywhere except when they give you the check (when you eventually get it). read more

The food here is very yummy, although the service is below average. Me and my friend waited 25 min for 2 slices of cheese pizza and 20 min for the check. Additionally, our waitress wasn't personable and very cold towards us. I even looked over and saw some of the workers (who weren't on break) on their phones.
