Very nice and quiet atmosphere. Great view of the golf course. Lighting was not too bright. Bring an appetite or plan on to-go boxes. We had gator bites for an appetizer.

Exploring some of the more recommended restaurants in the Clarksville area that I've yet to try out, we made our way to Pbody's for a recent summer day out and about in the area. It's located in a country club on a golf course and not particularly helpfully labelled on the outside but easy enough to find. Nice on the inside, friendly service. The menu is quite extensive but mostly in the same wheelhouse--other than "Tarcos" (Americanized tacos)--southern, fried, burgers, American fare. Several items I'd like to try if we're ever here again. We kept it simple for lunch this time. I had the chicken tenders (lunch portion) with the fries, added a side of mac and cheese. My wife had the chicken wrap and an order of green beans. We also had the TN BBQ spring rolls as an appetizer, and the complimentary house-cut and cooked potato chips. The chicken tenders were good--tasted freshly cooked, tasted like real chicken that had been hand dipped and fried. The fries were super crispy. Mac and cheese gooey and pretty good. The housemade chips are good, the BBQ spring rolls were probably the best thing we tried. My wife enjoyed the wrap and appreciated the chicken was well seasoned and they didn't rely on overdoing the sauce to cover the flavor. She thought her green beans a bit too salty, but not terribly so. I'd like to try the desserts some time, we were way too full this time. I'd say this was a strong "3", a 3.5 if Yelp allowed for such ratings. Given another visit or two to try other things possibly a "4" in time. Friendly service, very fair prices, dependable southern cooking.

The food here is always delicious! Service is excellent, especially considering the size of our party. It was the perfect spot for our friend's birthday luncheon in a room that was just off the main restaurant, so it was semi-private. My friend ordered several appetizers for the table and everyone devoured them. I have few photos since my phone battery died at the start of the luncheon, but I have been enjoying P'body's delectable food since they were located on Riverside Drive! The new location of the restaurant within the Country Club is very nice and has elevated their menu and dining experience! TBH, I also loved the original restaurant with all of its eclectic decor surrounding you with fun and/or rare collectibles. Comfortable booth seats were my favorite. It was a very casual and comfortable, at-home and welcoming dining feel - which I still miss. One of my friends (who has since moved away) and I enjoyed going for just dessert sometimes. The pies! I took a few photos of only my dish & dessert, so I will let them speak for themselves. Mouth-watering creations! Sorry for not taking pictures of all my friends' and family's dishes. Just go check them out for yourselves! Enjoy.

1st time here and I would definitely recommend! Staff, service and food were all great! Me and my husband decided to try and new place today for our "day date" and we are so glad we did! The restaurant was clean and we had a nice view. I had the lunch catfish with fried okra and he had the shrimp tarcos. They give u some complimentary homemade chips. We took banana pudding to go and it is also delicious!

Why is everything either overly salty or bland? If you're going to eat here, only get a burger or sandwich. It's the only thing we've ever gotten off their menu that's worth eating. This is the second time I've ordered, and I wish I had remembered the first order. I wouldn't have ordered a second time if I had remembered the tragic green beans again. My husband said we had ordered before, but it wasn't memorable, and now, based on my opinion, it was horrible enough that I blocked it out. He loves their burgers, and I must say, every time he's ordered one, it looks fantastic. However, if you're going to order anything else, be advised their sides are atrocious and certainly aren't fresh by any stretch of the imagination. Their green beans reek of soy sauce, and Worcestershire. They don't taste like southern green beans; they taste like a salty, disgusting, mess! I'm more than positive that they originated out of a can before being soaked in some kind of soy sauce brine! I ordered their okra, which was subpar and oddly underseasoned, reminding me of something that came out of a bag. I also tried their "honey squash", which gives you zero indication it will come fried, burnt, heavily breaded and disgusting. I don't know where the honey part cames in because it wasn't sweet; it was just overly breaded, bland, fried yellow squash. A very misleading representation of what I thought would be sautéed in someway with a honey glaze, not the case! I also got their half rack of ribs with their Pbody sauce, which I don't know what to make of it. I was forced into wiping it off because it had too much vinegar and salt, nothing like a traditional barbecue sauce. I also think they brine them and either left them in a little too long or their brine ratio is horribly off because even the meat was horribly salty. Someone needs to control the sodium levels because my blood pressure was through the roof two ribs in, it was disgusting. I wish we had a Jim and Nick's near, hands down their ribs are fantastic. Heck, I've had better ribs sold outside of a Kroger's before. In summary, they're good at making burgers, but anything else is subpar at best. Worthy of a Gordon Ramsay kitchen nightmare episode! Nothing they make is reminiscent of good old southern cooking. I think they just wanted an expensive menu while cutting corners as much as possible. Not making anything from scratch, nothing's fresh. Everything is doctored, over seasoned, and atrocious. If it doesn't already come out of the bag and bland it came out of a can then overcompensated to hide that fact with heavy seasoning, you just can't win! As somebody who learned how to cook from their grandmothers kitchen with fresh food, and spends quite a bit of time in the kitchen myself, when I order out I want something comparable if not better than what I can make! This was a horrible disappointment and waste of money! It's truly unfortunate when a restaurant excels at one particular dish but struggles to replicate its success when trying to offer a diverse menu. This results in missed opportunities and subpar food. Instead, stick to burgers and sandwiches, or hire a professional chef to reduce and revamp your menu with items that you can make successfully without relying on pre-packaged ingredients. Currently, you're not equipped to consistently deliver high-quality across the board.

Pbody's staff is always welcoming and friendly as soon as you enter the door! As soon as you sit down, they bring chips, which is the perfect snack before ordering. Although not pictured, their mojitos are EVERYTHING (esp. the blackberry mojito)! Their food came out hot and perfectly cooked. I can't really complain about anything :)

We were seated pretty fast. Our server was quick attentive and timely. Our food came out quick as well. The chicken salad was not typical. Heavy mayo but in chunks of chicken. I'm used to finely shredded. Just their take on it. Flavor was okay but I'd come back to try other items too! I'm a huge fan of the ranch kettle chips they give you too. I almost ate the entire basket.

We went back to Pbody's this week and the fried cod is absolutely outstanding. Something you must try if you go.

Our server was very basic, what can i get you... nothing over the top that you might expect from a fancy steakhouse like cut into your steak to see if it's prepared properly, any cracked black pepper for your Caesar, here are our today's specials, or here's our wine list..etc. The ambiance/decor was nice with whiskey barrels separating the two dining halls. It's a relatively small joint, quiet and relaxing. We both ended up having the fillets with baked potato's and Caesar salad. The Caesar was a standard issue Caesar, I didn't detect any anchovy fish notes like a lot of of steakhouses do which was totally fine. The baked potatoes were good probably our favorite thing we had. The steaks were a miss in both our opinions. I ordered mine med rare she had hers medium. They both arrived medium. They were super flat like a sirloin, dry like a sirloin, and cut like a sirloin. We kind of thought we received the wrong steaks however sirloin wasn't on the menu. ‍ if it truly was a filet, it might be the toughest chewiest filet I've ever had. Overall i'd give GOS 3/5 staff was friendly, ambience is nice, the food level I would put at Logan's roadhouse tier at ruth chris prices.

Nothing flashy, nothing new or innovative, just basic, solid steakhouse fare. I had the Flo's filet, which can be purchased in 6 or 9 oz versions. My husband had the renegade. Flo's is slightly more expensive than the renegade, but as someone who's worked at LongHorn and who's eaten there many times over the years, Flo's is the best cut they have, and the best value. At first my husband was unconvinced, but once he tried mine, he agreed Flo's is superior, and the price difference (about 10 dollars for the 6 oz portion) was probably worth it. Most LongHorns, but at least at this location, the temps are always correct (we order medium). Seasoning is basic and on point. The fries are almost always crispy (every now and then they get a little soggy waiting to be brought out). Sides are always a basic, well done staple, such as broccoli, baked potato, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, and rice. I do miss the Flo's filet and salmon deal. That was perfect and I always loved to order it and take home left overs. Now you can do similar things with shrimp and lobster tail, but that's not my thing. Our service is always pretty good, this time was no exception. Even on a busy easter Sunday. They also offer other cuts of meat (ribeye, the longhorn, the NY strip). You can have your steak modified with parmesan crust, roasted mushrooms, and the aforementioned lobster tail or shrimp. Also available is seafood such as salmon and shrimp. LongHorn also offers lamb chops, burgers, chopped steak, chicken, ribs, and a ton of salads (strawberry and pecans, grilled chicken and strawberry, 7-pepper sirloin, and field greens). They have some decent margaritas, though I haven't had them in a long time. Desserts: chocolate stampede (sweet, decadent), strawberries and cream shortcake, molten lava cake, and their cheesecake. This is an "every man" steakhouse for an unfussy lunch or dinner. Faithful standby when you need something to please everyone and not break the bank.

Had to ask multiple times for someone to get our waitress, and still waited almost 10 minutes until she came out. They remade it, but the remake did not come out until 10 minutes after the rest of my family had finished their meal. Family said everything was also heavily salted. I was still charged for the burger and offered no comp (oh well, not a huge deal). On the menu it stated $1.99 to add a side salad to my burger. On the receipt I was charged $4.99 to add the salad. Not sure what kind of business practices are going on here, but I will not be back.

We held our corporate dinner at Joe's Garage this evening, the ambiance was good, the food was fine I guess, but the service is kind of Mickey Mouse! You need to train your people to check the table right after you served the food and MAKE SURE that the orders are COMPLETED. I thought I was just waiting for my food, and my colleagues tried to slow down eating thought my food is coming out soon until one of my colleagues asked that where's my food so both servers went back inside and check and obviously it was not prepared. Dinner is almost over and my food came and the server said sorry. Lack of sincerity does not sound apologetic at all! so I said please box my food. So... Joe's Garage, let me ask you this? How would you feel watching your group eat while you have none? I caught both of my colleague whispered to the server to offer me a cheese at least? so the server went inside probably ask for permission and came out asking me which dessert I would like? I said NO thank you! My thoughts, why should I take the dessert when it was not an initiative to offer in the first place? Lesson learned, we will NEVER bring our company's visitors nor recommend this place for now. Please teach your crew how to handle this situation or escalate it to their managers if you have one? teach them to be sensitive, attentive and how to be sincere! You might lose one of our group businesses, but I wish you to improve service!
