My Toshiba laptop had a keyboard issue and the cursor kept skipping all over the document causing me to backspace and start over literally hundreds of times a page! I checked for local PC repair shops in my Greenwood area and found PC Fix just up the road in Crown Hill, on 15th NW. Jason paid attention when I was telling him what the problem was, and he assured me he would do a diagnostic, check for viruses, and let me know via email what needed to be done, before going ahead. He did what he promised, fixed my problem which was with software and the touch pad. There had been an update I had ignored . He even checked with another staff member to make sure things were what he had thought. I went in after 48 hours, my laptop was working perfectly , AND...he helped me understand why keeping my laptop constantly plugged in and charging was NOT a good idea. Jason was friendly, professional, knew his stuff and did what he said he would do. The nicest thing of all was that since the "fix" was basically already in my programs, he only charged for the basic diagnostic. I love this place and recommend it highly and without reservation. I am very happy to write a glowing review of the PC Fix-it on 15th Ave NW. I took my 17" notebook in to replace the screen. They were very honest and accurate about time and cost. The repair went perfectly. After picking it up and taking it home I was having a problem. I took it back and the man on duty--Jason--checked it. He found what the problems could be. Even though it had nothing to do with the repairs they did I asked for help. I told him I wasn't confident if I could fix it, really needed the computer and I couldn't afford to spend any more because it was already more than the PC was worth. Jason said he would do the work, something they would usually charge quite a lot for, to make sure my PC left them in the best possible condition. Jason and the owners went way beyond good customer service. They have kept a customer for life. I have used them for several repairs over the years and will never use anyone else. They are honest, good at what they do, reasonably priced AND actually care about their customers--a combination I almost never find anymore. The knowledgeable and friendly employees at this establishment went above and beyond my expectations many times over. I was completely distraught when I brought in my $2,000 computer with a virus, worried that it would need a complete system reset. They took in my computer on a Friday, had it diagnosed THAT DAY and it was fully repaired with a new anti-virus software installed by Monday. They even saved all my vital documents, pictures, and other important files. This business is officially the only place I will ever take any of my computers for service, because I know I can trust the people to work hard, efficiently, and honestly. I manage the office at a small law firm. 7 year old E-machine desktop workstation would not start. Called in and was told it was probably the power supply, but could be the on/off switch and that if it was the power supply it could probably be fixed as a "rush" job in a day for an extra $50. Didn't drop it off until late in the day but it was all finished the next day by 10:30 a.m. Total charge, including parts, labor and rush service was $150. I consider that a very fair price. From start to finish I dealt with George, and he is the person who did the repair. He is personable, professional and clearly competent - a total stand-up guy. I went in with a very confusing problem that i thought might be unfix-able! PC fix it treated me with respect, very clear concise communication, and was very reliable! Initially i was very nervous to seek outside help since it was my first custom built pc that was high end. PC fix it made the whole process easy and simple as well.I was expecting a price of at least $200-$300, but after it was all said and done it only was $110. To top it all off PC fix left me with a good backup GPU in case anything starts acting funky on mine. What more can you ask for!? If i have any more problems with my pc, i know where im going! I went to A1 best computer despite some bad reviews and I'm very pleased with there service and pricing. I went to the Ballard store because i though i had a bad virus or something my unit has getting the Blue Screen of Death error. When i brought it in the tech came out and looked at it on the counter and was telling me about the common issue with my machine. We opened it and found that the motherboard had bad compositors. He gave me two options to fix it (I choose the cheaper route) and he had my unit back to faster than I expected. I recommend them search no further. read more

My laptop was totally screwed, tried installing Window 7 to replace Vista, the new install was missing drivers galore and got to the point of black screen of death and then would not open at all. i took my hp g62 for a tune up & virus removal they brought my computer back to life. the laptop works great now. they even installed a kaspersky anti-virus security system with a 1 year warranty, jeremy said if it does not block any virus that wants to infect the system they will fix it for free. i think thats great service. i will take my business back to pc fix again.!!! read more

I gave this place five stars since I don't have anything to complain about. My keyboard was fixed in less than 24 hours, and I knew exactly how much it was going to cost since they charge a flat fee ($149.95 + tax) for all repairs. I don't know if it would've been cheaper somewhere else, but it was nice to get my laptop back the next day. read more
