This PCC location is staffed with helpful, friendly folks and offers a great selection of both organic and non-organic products. While yes, some products are way more expensive than you might find at Fred Meyer or Walmart, they always seem to have a a few different choices in varying price points. I am really impressed by the quality of food, provenance of said food and atmosphere of PCC in general. I've been shopping at this location on and off for the past two years and have come to realize this store is great for people who are mostly unaffected by the recession. The cost of food here is sobering. Plan on spending $50/bag. That is my average. I've nearly run out of organs to sell in order to continue shopping here. Snfft!! When first coming to this store PCC they seemed really expensive, but now trying to shop anywhere else seems expensive because of my boyfriend being gluten free. Even though I am not gluten free the food is really good and if you talk to any of the employees they will help you to save money. They coffee I'd pretty good and I love the hot food bar is excellent. This store is well organized and the staff is super friendly and I love everything that they do to help the community and they have a electric car port for those who are helping the environment. I live in Edmonds and I love our neighborhood PCC.. since arriving on the scene in E-town.. it has a platinum status rain water system pumping.. helpful, friendly, smiling staff, and food to die for.. cooked & ready to be eaten in the tables area that is.. great bulk area. I LOVE LOVE LOVE PCC!! Not only is it an outstanding supermarket, but it is a great place to get a high quality and low cost dinner! Although I love the pizza (meat lovers is my favorite), the club panini is one of my favorite sandwiches PERIOD. I like to get mine heated up and while sometimes they overcook it, you can't go wrong with the delicious flavors in that sandwich. Perfection! The turkey havarti panini is a close second. Did I mention that these delicious and filling sandwiches are under 5 bucks? Well they are! Usually, I get chocolate milk or peach tea to pair with my meal and vuala! I love this store and have been going for many, many years. It's different from Whole Foods, which has become nothing more than a chain grocery store. Its produce is as local as much as it can be and it's so wonderful being able to buy organic without having to make sure that it is (Whole Foods). Customer service is something that I think is lacking in so many different companies these days but when you have a great customer experience, it's worth noting. Went out to PCC natural markets today to grab a quick snack and the dish they gave me was very inconsistent from what they usually prepare! I usually do not complain, but I wanted them to at least know in case they were unaware. They decided to make a fresh batch right away, refunded my money, and made sure that I left with the right quality! Do I pay a little extra for quality, yes! but is it worth it? absolutely! Great grocery store! I shop at PCC all the time and the staff is always super helpful and friendly.

Bottom line: This PCC blows the other PCCs out of the water, in terms of selection, quality of product, and overall friendliness, both from employees as well as customers. I live a few blocks away from the Greenlake PCC yet I still make the trek out to Edmonds once a week. Their veggie section is slightly better than the others (though bigger), but their meat selection is at least twice as large as any other PCC I've visited. Plus, for the antisocial types, they also feature self-checkout lanes. Also, THEY HAVE PUMPKIN GELATO. Win on that factor alone! read more

For what they charge in this store, they should come to your house with you, cook the food for you, and bus the dishes too. Also, there's NEVER enough cashiers. Such high prices; such long waits. I needed a WOW vegetable tray tonight for a very special party. I asked the Deli to make me a fantastic vegetable tray. I've shopped here for years. I used to bring my son in for snacks and a few items once a week from about 2010 to last year. On one of my visits I acquired a PCC card, which I used every time I shopped, weekly from 2010-2017. One day several months back I was approached by someone I know telling me that I used their PCC card! She went further to talk to management and informed me that didn't have a membership and never did. This happened 7 years after I began using the card I purchased in the the store. I normally shop on occasion for something fun, salmon, veggies, healthy snacks. I don't feel I should come back. I called and informed the manager that I had spontaneously ran the card yesterday, I asked them if they could reverse the 10% back, since this individual is assigned the same number. They couldn't do that! Instead they had to call and "report" to her so that I could be confronted yet again by this individual for something that is probably the store's fault. read more

This store is a great addition to Edmonds. It is especially convenient to have a place nearby that caters to vegans. This is not a store where I would go to pick up staple items. It's more for special gourmet treats. The produce department is more expensive than most and the quality is perhaps not as good. But the selection elsewhere throughout the store is excellent. There are no bargains here, but lots of nice goodies. read more

I love PCC's freshly made pizza, their pizza is the bomb! The store has the biggest verity of organic foods I have seen, and including a organic daily. I do wish PCC would have cheaper prices. I can barely afford to shop there. I like to shop at Trader Joe's for there modest pricing. read more

Good vegan options and great local vegetables to choose from!

I usually like PCC Natural Markets locations and that's what the three stars are for. However, I have had an experience at the Edmonds location that has left a bad taste in my mouth. First off, I would like to say that I spend a couple hundred dollars here on a weekly basis and shop here about two to three times a week! When we get our monthly 10% off coupon it's great! (Well if I remember to bring it in) Since I have become a member I have remembered to bring in my coupon a few times and I usually do self checkout. The very first time I used my coupon at self checkout I scanned the coupon and tried to give it to the self checkout lady but she said, "Oh I don't need it!" So I threw it in the recycle next to her. Then a few months later I remembered to bring my monthly coupon and went through self checkout and scanned my coupon at the end of my order and I as I was about to put my money in, a store personnel by the name of SARA came out of nowhere and snatched the coupon out of my hand as I was trying to pay without any explanation! I thought that was so rude! It was almost as if she thought I was trying to steal the coupon back or something I don't know! Although at a later date I did figure out where exactly to put the coupons once I'm done scanning them in self checkout, it could have kindly been explained to me from day one or even day two! I could understand a little if I was attempting to leave the store with the coupon or something, but I had barely began to dig in my wallet when Sara came and snatched the coupon out of my hand and even if a customer forgot in that short period of time that they still had it in their hand and began to leave, there is still a much better way to handle the situation than to do what Sara did! I was disgusted with her actions and lack of professionalism and experience! Yuck! read more

Ok, I think I love this store more than the Sammamish location! Say what!?!? This used to be a Albertson's and so glad they converted into a PCC. I have been wanting to come here for some time now. The store is nice and big and also not very crowded, even on a Saturday mid brunch time. The staff are friendly and cool. I was feigning for something cool and creamy, and behold they have some gelato at their coffee counter. Had the coconut and the Mr had hazelnut chocolate! Yum! If you love coconut flavored anything, this is something you should try. We picked up some cheese, salami, gazpacho (which I highly recommend),I am going to add a diced cucumbers in though. They have a awesome variety of food if you are a health nut, or diet restricted,or foodie, or just if you want some good healthy stuff in your system. Though the staff are awesome and friendly, you will run into a couple of snobs. As I was perusing the gelato flavors this mother and daughter team kinda just stood in front of me, in the words of Stephanie Tanner "HOW RUDE!" one.. say excuse me, two if you're not going to buy anything don't get in other customer's ways that are trying to buy stuff. I finally am taking the time to comment on the service, quality and overall experience at this specific PCC. I have been a random shopper here since this store opened many years ago. Main reason for the rare visits is the repeatedly bad service we experience. Yesterday's visit will produce a letter to corporate. I really want this store to work. I will say that their prices are a bit higher than the average in the neighborhood. This I can deal with if the quality of goods and the service is great. Well it is NOT!!!! I approached two service counters. Meat department and the coffee deli. The meat department gets the 2 stars of my rating. Though it took nearly 30 seconds to make verbal contact once I stood looking for help with a filet of Salmon. The worst service I received was at the coffee bar. We waiting all while looking at 4 employees chatting it up, glancing at a phone, and then looking toward each other to hope the other would initiate service. I finally spoke up and asked for a drip coffee. Then they proceeded to send me around the corner for a less then lukewarm coffee from a thermos. Please PCC train your employees better. Please employees do your job well. Put your phones in your locker or leave them in the car. And once again we will not rush to shop at this store. read more

I am a huge fan of PCC. I travel 20-25 minutes farther than my local store to shop here. I love all the products they offer but generally tend to stick to produce only and the deli section because their salads are amazing. However, I was in yesterday evening and was being helped by a woman behind the deli area. I noticed a woman pulling trays from the display and quickly asked "oh, can I get a 1/2 pint of that before you pull it" (thinking they were closing or packing up for the night) she rudely snapped at me in a completely inappropriate tone and proceeded to speak to me as if I were a toddler. She was in fact pulling those out of the case just to clean, which fine, okay I get it. But I don't mind read your procedure, nor do I work there so how am I suppose to know that. When I retorted quickly "Wow, calm down" there was no apology, eye contact or explanation. I will take my business to Whole Foods. I don't need to travel twice as far and pay double to be talked down by employees who salaries are paid off sales. read more

I'm not a millionaire but this place is worth the little extra I have to pay to get fresh, quality fruits and vegetables. Their deli staff is courteous and knowledgeable. My kids love their recommendations. They have a great selection and the store is always clean and organized. Not the closest store but it is well worth the drive. read more

They have a great deli to visit for a delicious sandwich for lunch. The turkey and brie panni or the club panni are wonderful. You are never board with the selection, it is wonderful. It can be a little pricey, but again depends on your choice and well worth it for the quality. read more

I prefer this location over others because It's larger with more parking. The cashier's are so kind her and the produce is always fresh.

After reading some of the one star reviews here, I feel the need to weigh in. Fast! Any grocery shopper these days has to know that a single store cannot meet the extensive, specific standards of any given customer. I've been a loyal PCC member since 1970. If Yelp existed back then, and people reviewed the humble hole in the wall store where I joined, PCC would be long, long gone, RIP. The Edmonds store blows me away every time I go there. It looks good, it feels good, and the layout works well. The fabulous, regional organic produce is by far the best, and the best-priced, of anywhere I've looked. The bulk section, for the basic flours, grains and seeds is also the best in my view (and very reasonably priced). If a product seems overpriced, don't buy it there. Since the store opened, I've not had anything but sterling service and attitude, especially from the great checkers. The day PCC opened in Edmonds was one happy day for this 46-year member! read more

I love this store! The produce department is always really fresh with lots of options. I like that the kids can have a free piece of fruit of their choosing while shopping. If your kids don't want it at that time, they will still give it to you for free (certain checkers). We are gluten and dairy free and they have many options which fit our restrictions. Perhaps one of the nicest grocery stores around (Metro Market in West Seattle might eek them out) and of course it's all PCC quality! Why am i a four star fan? Well I'm all about my family eating healthy( I wish it were less expensive) I love the organic pizza, the ginormous deli and sushi bar..I get my meat, vegetables and fruits here (only until my farmers market re-opens) but its still a little pricey to buy every single thing I need, for now I'll stick to finding Annies products at my neighborhood Trader Joes, but it still feels great to shop in such an eco-frendly place...and the gelato is yum! read more

The deals are there, you just need to know where to look! Of course, the 'superfood' section and premade foods are expensive. But, shop in the bulk section, and you'll find bargains. Shop in produce, and the bargains are there too if you count quality. Quality counts! Very clean, friendly staff, beautiful floral/plant department, and good value if you want high quality/trustworthy deli/sushi/bakery food. Also, they will sample you anything for free if you have never tried it before! The ambiance alone is enough to convince me to come here, rather than QFC across the street. read more
