I did some research over the legitimacy of this claim and found that the recent t-mobile merger with metro pcs is going to have A LOT of the older phone models permanently disconnected from their service after July 1, 2015. I checked online and discovered that my old LG Spirit was worth 99.99$ (hooray!) in trade in credit towards a new phone, so I wasn't too upset with the whole thing. I visited this metro pcs store because it was the closest corporate store to my house, and I'm sure glad that I did. I waited about an hour in line, but I expected some sort of wait, so I brought a book. What I didn't expect however was such excellent customer service! An employee who shall remain nameless, was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly in the trade-in-credit field. Which I would assume might be considered complicated to some, seeing as how my receipt was about two feet long! By the end of my time with this employee after watching them work their magic, I had traded in my two year old LG Spirit for the new ZTE ZMAX (which the employee had previously put on reserve for me), a Bluetooth headset, a pair of headphones, a portable mini speaker, a 32GB Micro SD card, phone case + screen protector, and a portable battery pack, all for the grand total of $25. So if you're looking for a good deal and you're trading in your old phone, look no further, because it looks like this store is looking to get rid of old (and new) inventory.

They asked me to go into the corporate store. The number for the corporate store was disconnected. Their phone number listed on Yelp was also disconnected. I tried again with customer service, and after about 15 minutes, they were able to help me set a PIN and email me my receipt for $25. Unfortunately I am stuck paying for the plan because I got a new a brand new iPhone with them before trying out the service with them but I can't stand the reception, you're constantly at two bars unless you're on someone's WiFi, a page takes almost 3 minutes to load and when I try to call them and tell them how unsatisfied I was with the service the only solution was to buy more coverage and WiFi routers. Basically a "pay to play" service. I really regret changing to Verizon.

I was stressed and very very upset because i was unable to use my phone for weeks, and when i went to the Verizon store to reconnect my service to my new phone, Ruben was absolutely so wonderful. He let me talk his ear off about all the troubles i was dealing with over my phone. He was so kind to let me call Verizon off of one of their phones, and continued to help me even when the representative couldn't. He was so patient and attentive and helped me out so much. Enrique greeted us warmly and quickly connected us with Romeo for assistance. We were having trouble reaching Financial Services and simply needed help getting connected. Unfortunately, Romeo was extremely disengaged. He showed little patience or enthusiasm, was chewing gum, barely made eye contact, and did not seem to listen to our concerns. His demeanor made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than customers needing assistance. Enrique ultimately stepped in and helped us connect with Financial Services. He was patient, stayed with us while we worked out a payment arrangement, and kept checking to make sure we were okay. I truly appreciated that. I did explain to Enrique that my father had passed away when he asked why we had fallen behind. His attitude became noticeably more compassionate afterward. I'm grateful for his help, but I wish I hadn't needed to share something so personal to receive that level of empathy. Thank you, Enrique, for turning around what could have been a very frustrating experience. Romeo's customer service, however, needs significant improvement.

Shady representative…read more Damien who seemed to be professional and caring was in fact untruthful and treated my concern with a backwards attitude. I entered the store to add a few devices onto my plan and later on found that I was going to be charged for a device I had never received. After reviewing my bill and noticing the unrecognized device, I called the store and spoke with Damien to explain my concern. He proceeded to tell me that the device is not on my bill even when I could clearly see that the device was on my bill via the Verizon app. He then assured me that I will no longer be charged for the device and that it will not be present, and he also promised a $150 credit towards my next bill to compensate for the unexpected charges. It's been about 2 weeks now and I still have that same device showing up on my next estimated bill. Not only that but he never documented that the $150 credit was to be applied towards my next bill. I found out all this after calling Verizon directly. Not only that, at the time I had the authorized devices added onto my plan, he had applied a promotional credit of $220 and did a reversal of the credit the same day! What a scummy move. Again, all of this was brought to my attention after calling Verizon directly myself to figure what went wrong. Avoid this store and any kind of interaction with Damien. He will smile in your face but is quick to stab you in the back. Damien you have waste so much of my time, money and energy. Go flip some burgers or something because clearly being a representative is not a suitable job for you with that attitude you gave me when I had confronted you with your mistakes. I know my review might not change anything about the store or Damien himself, but I do hope that this will help anyone from being unfortunate enough to endure the same inconveniences I had to go through.
