I do not understand the one and 2 star reviews. My wife and I had a 4 hour layover. We had a couple of cocktails, then looked around for a place to eat, decided on Jersey Mikes. There were at least 15 , maybe 20 people on the line. My wife wanted to split the roast beef , #6. From standing on line to ordering to getting my sandwich, was less than 15 minutes total. Ran like a well oiled machine. Everyone was doing their part to keep the line moving. They were literally knocking out 3 and sandwiches at a time. Roast beef with provolone, tomato and mayo was packed full of meat and absolutely delicious. There were actually some empty tables around, but we ate at our gate. If I have another 4 hour layover , I would not hesitate to hit Jersey Mikes. read more

After searching out the options to grab a meal to take with me on my flight, I settled on Jersey Mikes. I picked this for a few reasons, the price wasn't insane, it can easily be eaten with your hands, and doesn't need to be warm. We got in the line, and soon realized it wasn't moving, somehow the one only person working the cash register was creating a bottle neck, and the 4 other people "working", were in no rush to get the orders through, they didn't jump on the other register or try to assist him, they were just sitting around waiting for the cashier to get the orders in. Once the orders got in, the others were quick to get them made and sent out, but no one seemed to have any sense to help the struggling cashier. I ordered a ham and provolone sub, which once ordered came out relatively quick. But in the end, I realized I had picked the wrong dinner option. The sub was pretty bad, they seemed to really drench the bread with oil, I think? It was very overpowering, and made everything greasy. All of the toppings were slipping out of the sandwich and I could only eat about half of the sub. One because of the flavor, and two because I didn't want that much oil to destroy my stomach on a cross country flight. This definitely has left a bad impression in my mind for any other future visits to Jersey Mikes, and seeing all the other bad reviews on here for this location, I hope someone will take notice and make some changes. read more

I spent a good amount of time waiting in line for this sandwich, and it did not disappoint! It was all I hoped for in an Italian sub. The line here was much longer than any other fast food spot I saw around, and at least one customer left due to this--several others were commenting as I heard them waiting for their orders to come up. I wasn't in a huge rush so it was well worth the 15-20 minutes I spent in line/waiting for the sandwich. But it will take longer than other spots, so I would not go with this if you are in a time crunch (at least based on the time I went)! read more

I'm a huge Jersey Mikes fan so I was happy to see this one in the airport. But sadly this one is disappointing. I expect airport food to be marked up and fewer options but this one does not represent your brand very well. The ice machine was broken Most of the soda options were out or broken The small soda is $4 bucks! The one woman working the counter trying to be quick kept cutting me off and would not listen, as a regular we knew what we wanted. Our sandwiches were dry and the bread smashed. Not j.M. Quality. We asked for no onions but both had them (sorry fellow airplane passengers). No napkins to be found anywhere. I did not have a problem with the long lines, that's expected at the airport The young woman who brought out my food was friendly, helpful and efficient and apologized for the lack of working soft drinks, ice and napkins. Apologies and acknowledgment go a long way with me and the reason I did not give you one star. If I was a first time customer to this Jersey Mikes I would think they were all this bad and not try the regular locations. Absolutely horrible customer service. Advertise the Udi's gluten free bread, but when asked the girl behind the counter tells my teenage (celiac) daughter she should just eat the white bread and says they don't feel like doing gluten-free bread today, with a huge grin on her face. Not sure what the girl's problem is, but obviously customer service and understanding others' medical needs is greatly lacking. Maybe Jersey Mike's needs to close this location until they can hire employees who understand they get paid for their customer service. This was all after a 20 min wait sit to be laughed at by some smug girl who doesn't understand why she got out of bed this morning. This Jersey Mike's has a limited menu with just a dozen or so sandwiches and only one size option. For me, the "Sub in a tub" works well on keto and since I was expecting a longer line for security, I had some extra time to get something to eat. Into a plastic container, a lettuce base with tomatoes and onions and peppers and then topped with sliced ham and cappicola and provolone cheese. On top, "Mike's way" is a generous splattering of oil and vinegar and salt and pepper. It's definitely tasty but a bit messy. Here's the problem. They put huge pieces of meat and cheese and tomato in there. That's going to make it really tough to eat even with knife and fork. Is it that hard to chop it even a little bit, or is that just an airport operation thing? I have no doubt that the subs are delicious but the salad presentation made it hard to enjoy. It's all a bit spendy even for an airport but it was worth a try. I think next time, a Wendy's baconator hold the bun from deep in Concourse A. On a layover we found Jersey Mike's on our way to our gate. The line was long but well worth the wait. We enjoy Jersey Mike's at home and thought it would be a great quick sandwich for our short layover. The roast beef was wonderful as always! The Italian was tasty as well. I am not a lays chop eater but lays is the only chip of choice. I highly recommend this airport shop on any day. I liked the Italian dressing on my sandwich as well. No watch as the assemble rushed, to order, ambience of a line and wait queue in a terminal at the airport. Just be aware you may have a 15- 20 minute wait for your less than artfully put together sandwich. A club sandwich with bottled water and chips is $20. My flight was delayed due to the weather, of course that caused me to miss my connecting flight. I was hungry for something but I didn't know what. As I'm strolling through the food court nothing seemed to scratch my tastebuds, I considered all the options and settled on a sandwich from Jersey Mikes. As I'm standing in line I hear some college girls behind that was faced with the same dilemma, we chit chatted briefly. So as we're standing in the at least 10 deep line, a patron passes by us with the most delicious looking salad. I'm one of those people that will stop and ask "What did you get, that looks good ", she got the club salad and added extras. Yup, in unison we said "I want that"! And I got that! It was the second most delicious salad I've had while on my working travels. Jersey Mike's at Charlotte International Airport serves good food however the wait was too long. I had about 30 minutes between flights so I had no choice but to grab some fast food. I noticed 15 to 20 people standing around when I got in the short line to place my order. I ordered the chicken cheese steak. I waited nearly 20 minutes for my sandwich. And because my receipt didn't say it was a chicken cheesesteak I asked the employee to double-check. It was not a chicken cheesesteak it was a Philly cheesesteak. So, this meant I had to wait again, thankfully not as long as the first time, for them to remake my sandwich. Once my sandwich was ready I headed to the gate as my plane was boarding shortly. The sandwich was good and hot, although it had no toppings which was disappointing. I didn't know I had to request lettuce, tomato and onion. I would have thought the cashier would have asked me if I wanted these toppings if it was optional. Then again my cashier got my order wrong so there you go. This was my most disappointing visit to any Jersey Mike's to date. If you're in the airport you may want to try a different fast food unless you have several hours between flights. read more

My experience with the service at this location was unfortunately so bad that I downloaded Yelp and made an account just to leave a review. The employee's were extremely rude and would make comments about the customers while the customers were a few feet away. There were multiple moments when a customer was waiting to be helped, and all of the employees saw the need but not one did a thing. Multiple orders were also skipped over. It was during a rush, so there's plenty of grace for mistakes, but more than a few customers had to inquire about the fate of their food. There was an incident while I was waiting for my food (which ended up being one of the missed orders) where a customer inquired why there weren't any mushrooms on her sub when the one she ordered was supposed to have mushrooms. It turns out that they were out of mushrooms, but the customer was never notified of this when she was ordering. The employee who was helping her was extremely rude throughout the whole interaction, and when she walked away, she started loudly relaying the story to her coworkers in earshot of the rest of the customers. Likewise, my brother's order which was supposed to have steak had chicken instead. We didn't want to cause a scene after the mushroom incident, so he just ate it and was fine with it. If they were out of steak, however, he should've been notified while ordering. I work in the food industry and know how difficult it can be, especially if you're having a bad or stressful day. But even on those days, customers are supposed to be the number one priority. You're still being paid for a job. However, we were treated like an inconvenience. It was so uncomfortable that I had the nervous giggles. My food was good. But the process of getting it was unpleasant enough to warrant a poor review. read more
