This place is delicious. The tenders are thick and the sauce on the Spicy Buffalo Tenders sandwich is out of this world. The fresh cut fries are thin for fresh cut fries which is a nice change...and in my experience they were perfectly spiced. read more

Fresh variety of chicken choices. We prefer dining in. The tenders Flavorful, juicy , meaty, and seemingly cooked just right in fresh grease. The staff is as attentive and friendly as ever. I believe they changed their fries recipe as they are now crispier and easier to eat but they do not seem to pay much attention to the amount you get with your order as each time its different Fav sauce still the creamy garlic. PDQ is a pretty mediocre chicken finger joint. The chicken fingers are decent. The grilled chicken salad was just average. When we ordered the cashier recommended the blueberry coleslaw. Normally when a restaurant goes out on a limb with a crazy melding of two opposites like that it ends up being amazing creation. This one fell flat. It just wasn't good. The biggest redeeming thing about PDQ is the sauces. All the sauces are made fresh in house and you can tell the difference. My family and some friends of ours have been frequenting this particular location every Tuesday evening for the last 5 years. The manager and PDQ team were always friendly and all smiles. About 6 months ago, we started noticing a change in the PDQ staff demeanor. Additionally, we started noticing that the chicken did not taste the same. It is now always overcooked. Tonight was particularly obvious. The cashier and the rest of the crew gave us a look that was not friendly. Upon placing the order and confirming that it was not a to-go order the cashier quickly informed us that they are closed at 9 and should be done with our meal by 9pm. We understand that they close at 9, however the approach was cold and unfriendly. Customer service matters slot to us. So after the unfriendliness we have decided that it is not worth it to bring our business to PDQ period. We work too hard to be buying overcooked chicken and experience unfriendly staff. Therefore, we will take our business elsewhere. I hope PDQ management turns this around soon. read more

Went to PDQ on Sunday because Chic-Fil-A was closed and it was close. I've had PDQ before and it was decent. Went through the drive-thru and asked the attendant a few questions and got great answers about selection, sauces, etc. Got the food, went about a mile and realized 1. they forgot my daughter's meal and 2. gave me an order of fries that I didn't order but paid for. Went back and they gave me a kid's meal, not what I ordered, and gave me a free meal card for the inconvenience. So, lucky to get 3 stars. read more

Stopped in last night with my family for dinner. Everyone's meal came out piping hot except for my Honey Butter Chicken sandwich. I asked them to heat it up and they cooked me up a new one instead. When it comes to "fast food" I don't tend to eat it often at all. But I've actually eaten at PDQ 3 times in the past month since discovering it. Twice I have had the tenders and once I tried a sandwich. The sandwich was definitely very good but I'd genuinely have to say that I think I like the tenders more. They are not greasy and the breading is not heavy. Three tenders is plenty for me since the meals also come with fries. Service is great, the people are very friendly. I love the hand washing station. I will say that one of the three times we are at the Bartram Park location and I did not think it was as good as this location (food wise not the service). read more

I've eaten here two times before, and was pretty pleased with the entire experience. Last week I stopped in for a salad but, after reviewing the new menu decided on a " bowl" it was delicious! It was a type of southwestern bowl full of fresh veggies, Black beans, corn and rice. I couldn't eat it all it was so filling that I took the rest to go. My husband ordered a grilled chicken sandwich that had a slice of pineapple on it. He said it was delicious. The restaurant was very clean, we were greeted, and our orders were taken quickly by the pleasant counter associate. Our food was out very quickly. It was hot, and the order was accurate. This is my first time at PDQ and I'm pleasantly surprised. Airy naturally lighted dining space that overlooks a completely open kitchen. Being a first timer, I didn't know where to order, but as I walked toward the large print menus mounted upright on the counter a super helpful associate greeted me from behind them, then talked me through ordering. Three tenders, fries, and a drink for $7.50, not bad. I got my favorite of the 100+ flavors available in the Coca Cola Freestyle machines and then my name was called. The food is good. The sauce (garlic ranch I think) is GREAT. The space is clean and the staff is friendly. Overall, a nice place to stop between errands. Only drawbacks: no signage pointing newbs to the order counter or bathrooms, and the tenders are on the small side. I would have ordered the four count :) read more

Drove through at PDQ for a 3-piece chicken meal and fries. I think my main problem with this place is it seems (at least to me) to be presenting itself as a fast-casual restaurant, something more akin to a Chipotle or Panera in terms of food quality (and certainly in terms of pricing). The reality is that this is basically Zaxby's - just some lower-tier fast food chicken. My box of chicken was blazing hot (temperature-wise), but really greasy and extremely bland. Zaxby's is almost poisonous levels of salty, but at least it's got some flavor. PDQ's chicken arrives in a box on top of a bed of fries, so by the time you get down to the fries they're completely soggy. It's an aesthetically pleasing setup, sure, but doesn't really work in practice. Can't really imagine visiting PDQ again given all the other options in the area. read more

It's been a long time since I last been to a PDQ, so I really was in the mood to go to one. This was my first visit to this location and my experience was wonderful. Not only were the staff very courteous, but they were very fast as well. Within less than three minutes after ordering, my four piece chicken tenders meal came out. It was piping hot and very fresh, especially the fries. Their fries are always super fresh when I go (at any location). I wish there was a location near my home that I could go to. I'd definitely be visiting more often. By the way, this place is so much better than Chick-Fil-A. read more

First visit to PDQ. Love the interior, very clean and not what I expected. Great mix of food. Taking fast food to another level. I order the Cali Chicken sandwich meal. Chicken was great with a good balance of toppings left off the avocado. I guess it was no longer a Cali sandwich. The fries are a most. They are string fries with a nice touch of seasoning. Have been here twice and I really like it. Very very simple menu. All chicken pretty much. Either sandwich or tenders or salad. Place is always super clean and service seems to be fast and courteous. Only reason not 5 is I always get there Salads which are good but there a bit small for the price. I know you pay for quality which I am OK with just would like to see a little more. Fries are really good to and wife loves the sandwiches. Haven't had a chance to try there fresh lemonade or milkshakes but it's on the list of stuff to try next time we stop in. Really need more places like this were they make good simple quality food.. No reason to over complicate things and they haven't read more
