5 spicy tenders... Crispy outside, soft and tender inside..
    Robert A.

Great chicken strips!!! I like the spicy ones. Don't like waffle fries though. Swap out on sides to expensive. Usually get buffalo sauce and honey mustard and mix together for the best of both worlds

This is one of my daughters fav places. We got the Buffy blu samwich, tenders and the spicy chicken samwich. Everything was perfect and the service was stellar. Our only upset was they had no milkshakes. We can't wait to come back.

What happened? Easy meal to avoid Valentine restaurant crowds but still treat the kids. They loved PDQ. Unfortunately all we received after a 15 minute wait (my husband said they were nice and apologetic, gave us two cookies), was a new type of chicken sandwich (large but flat, breading falling off, seasoning not good) and cold French fries (not sure if these changed too, or the flavor lacked based on them being cold). Either way they are going into the trash, all left over at the end along with the majority of the sandwiches. The only good thing I can say is the tomatoes and lettuce were fresh and employees nice. Seems they changed their product, and it's not a good thing. Disappointed and won't be back. Pics show what you still reflect on your menu compared to what we received.

    Crispy turkey sandwich- very good

PDQ has always been just ok for me. I've found the chicken to need seasoning and the bowls to be a little uninspired but I've always enjoyed the tots and shakes. When I saw that they were offering a holiday special with a fried turkey cutlet topped with cranberry relish, herb mayo, and lettuce, I decided to try it. They went all out to make this a Fall holiday meal. In addition to the sandwich, it came with sweet potato waffle fries paired with a spiced marshmallow dip and a pumpkin spice shake. The fried turkey sandwich had all of the flavor that I wished their chicken had. The patty was juicy and tender. It was really good even without all of the toppings, which I got on the side. Despite the fact that I'm not a big fan of mayonnaise, the herb one they offered was excellent and it was reminiscent of the flavors in stuffing. The fries were good but the marshmallow dip was cloyingly sweet and I resorted to using regular ketchup. The shake was ok. Other fast food places make a much better pumpkin pie shake such as Freddy's. All in all, this holiday meal was very successful. It definitely transported me to the Thanksgiving lunch table!

Chicken tenders tossed in buffalo bleu sauce. Waffle fries and creamy garlic sauce.

I Tried this place again after a few years. I wasn't a fan of the old fries but the waffle fries are definitely an upgrade. My friend recommended that I try the tenders tossed in the buffalo bleu dressing and then to dip them in the creamy garlic sauce. I'd say this may be the most unhealthy option, but it was definitely pleasant on the tastebuds. The tenders were pretty nicely sized and I would have actually been full from the 3 piece meal. I can usually eat a large amount of food but this was more than enough. Plenty of calories and plenty of food. I don't know if I'll crave it to keep wanting to come back. If I'm in the area I'll have it as an option. I'll have to try the chicken sandwiches again. I wasn't the biggest fan of them years ago.

Found this place while on the way to the grocery store; in town for the 4th of July weekend and wanted a quick bite while we were out; we passed by this restaurant and decided to go back and give it a try; ordered the family meal which included 12 tenders, two "large" sides, and a shareable salad. The tenders were tasty, the black beans and rice were just ok; the waffle fries were good, the salad was average. I tried the blueberry vinaigrette with my salad and it was quite unique. The young lady at the window (we ordered via the drive thru) was nice and patient with us as we decided what to order (good customer service).

    Great tenders!!

Went out on a rainy Saturday to pick up food for my wife and I. Had a great coupon for two combo meals. We got two five piece tender meals, fries and two drinks for 10 bucks. That's worth a great review alone!! The tenders were huge, and really good. The fries were good. Service at the drive thru was fast and friendly. I have eaten inside one other time, shortly after they opened. Same friendly service and good food!!

The saying is true, "You don't always need silverware to eat good food - a left and a right hand will do." Especially, when it comes to quick, delicious bites at PDQ. This was my second time visiting PDQ. The first time, I ordered my meal via the drive-through (not so good but, the customer service was great!) I think I ordered a salad based off of the cashier's top favorite. His favorite was obviously, not my favorite, LOL! On my second visit, my colleague actually suggested we eat there for lunch. Since I couldn't make up my mind. To my surprised, the second visit won me over! Onc again, the customer service was spot on. We dined-in which was a even greater experience. And my PDQ Classic cheeseburger with fries and queso dip was to die for! I don't even think I exhaled in between bites. And oh baby!!!! Their sweet tea... . I PDQ!

Crispy Chicken Sandwich (hold the pickles), pdq sauce, honey mustard, rice and beans.
    Michael G.

Ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich (hold the pickles) with honey mustard and pdq sauce. Ladies and gentlemen I'm a Chick-fil-A advocate this sandwich needs some respect on it's name. You might ask how's it better then Chick-fil-A? The veggies were twice as fresh. The lettuce stayed crunchy. The chicken in the sandwich wasn't as big as your fist, but took you to flavor town. Even their rice and beans brought it's own unique taste. Not to mention 15 minutes less of a wait then Chick-fil-A. The customer service isn't Chick-fil-A quality, but that's the only spot Chick-fil-A will forever hold the crown.

    Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad

Fresh tenders, salads, and sandwiches. My first visit and I'm a fan. PDQ stands for People Dedicated to Quality and it's so true. PDQ's menu is not overwhelming. Their salads are definitely fresh. I had the grilled chicken salad [grilled chicken tenders served over mixed greens, tomatoes, candied almonds and craisins (cranberry raisins) with blueberry-ginger vinaigrette dressing]. Their lemonade is tangy, but refreshing. The staff is very friendly. It's cool that the guys wear clean white chef-like uniforms. The restaurant looks so clean, bright, and inviting. I like the open layout. They also have outside seating with mists coming down the side of the roof on hot sunny days.

That attention is a luxury these days and I wanted to make a note of that. The cashier would go from table and ask if anyone needed anything and we got into a discussion of how good the tempura green beans are. This is a hidden gem she gets everyday and I agree. It is lightly breaded, crunchy, and pairs excellent with ranch. Now I couldn't wait to rave about the burgers. Hands down the best "fast food". The burgers came out medium and perfect. I got the double and char burger with lettuce tomato, onion, bacon, cheese, mayo, ketchup, and mustard. The burgers came was juicy and reminded me of home cooked burger. Each bite the taste was of a cornucopia of flavors blending together of perfect harmony. I just can't give justice to these burgers you have to try for yourself. The name of this place fits what will be doing in the future....making a habit of coming here!

Service was fast and friendly and my food was ready In about 5-7 minutes. After ordering I was handed a beeper. Once it went off I went back to the counter and picked up my food. I ordered the charburger with cheese and sweet potato fries with a fountain Pepsi. I was excited to see they sold Pepsi products;) I found a booth in the front of the restaurant facing Beach Boulevard. The table was positioned close to the seats which we liked. And the seats were cushy and comfortable. Half the burger was covered in paper so your hands don't get messy while eating. Nice! The sandwich included a chargrilled beef patty, shredded lettuce, tomato, pickles, and caramelized onions. I love onions but caramelized onions took it to another level. And it was topped with mayo on a toasted bun. The burger was fresh and juicy and there were plenty of fixins. The sweet potato fries were hot and yummy. But my friends tempura green beans stole the side order show. They were lightly breaded and fried and served with a side of ranch for dipping. I couldn't get enough of them! I can't wait to go back and order them again;))

It's a one-person operation, so service can be a bit slow, but the food feels authentically made with care. We ordered the 2 burritos, 2 tacos, and a drink deal. Burritos are medium-sized, comparable to Chipotle, and while one is enough for me, the full combo would just satisfy a bigger appetite. The burritos were a bit soggy and could've been more generously filled. The tacos were the stars -- palm-sized but packed with flavor. The tripa taco was perfectly fatty and crispy, while the lengua was soft and flavorful. I'd come back for the tacos over the burritos. Drinks are self-serve from a cooler in front of the truck. There are two self-serve salsas -- a fresh green one and a spicier red; I preferred the red for its kick. Price-wise, it's on the higher end for a taco truck, which might be a drawback for some. Still, the taste delivers. If you're not in a rush and want a casual, no-frills taco stop with strong flavors, Jalapeño Express is worth trying.

I'll say first of all, the parking lot isn't the largest here for the stores that surround it. I was blessed to get a good spot right in front of the door as the driver was pulling out when I drove in. As busy as it was around 30 minutes in, I'm sure some had to look hard for parking. Just be aware of that if you go here for dinner. You may want to be early. Tijuana Flats has pretty wild decor. It's different and hard not to like it. However, it seems to have some age on the interior and I think it could use some renovation. But people really like coming here. You can tell there are a lot of regulars, especially on Taco Tuesday. Though I didn't have the taco meal deal, I can say on Tuesdays you can get two tacos, chips, and a beverage for $7.00. And the tacos are pretty good-sized. In fact, most of the dinner plates I observed here were Taco Tuesday meals. But I wanted to try something more on the speciality side. I chose the enchiladas with the verde sauce. I didn't heat it up with any salsa - I actually forgot about that! But they were good in their own right. It does contain six items, but you can decline any of them if you choose to. The garlic lime bowl is something very much worth your time! You can choose from three different proteins and we had the beef version. It's sauced up well. The cheese and other veggies warmed on a layer of grounded beef and rice was pretty excellent and worth trying again in the future. I think customers would be happy with either of these. The service provided on this evening was pretty solid overall. They give good attention to the customer at the counter and the ones in the dining area.
