I really enjoyed peaches hothouse! I came here for a quick bite with a friend of mine. It was around 830 pm. They don't have indoor dining, but they do have these cute little glass houses that seat up to 3 people. So we were literally in our own bubble and it was super cool lol. It was a little chilly out, but they had space heaters available so it was nice and toasty in the bubble we were in lol. On to the food. The menu is a bit small. I don't remember it being that way. I'm assuming it was because of covid, they cut their menu down. However, i thoroughly enjoyed my food. A lot lol. We ordered regular fried chicken (it comes in 3 levels of heat. Regular, hot and spicy) i wanted to control the heat, so i got regular with hot sauce on the side. With side orders i ordered the spicy broccoli (omg! It was absolutely delicious) and a side of Mac and cheese that we shared. It came with a side of cornbread. The cornbread was a bit cold which was weird. But the food was nice and warm so i wasn't upset about that. I figured the cornbread would be hot out the oven, but it was still delicious. Not too sweet, perfect. (I'm a sucker for good cornbread, lol). My friend ordered the kale Caesar salad with chicken. He enjoyed it, but said it was a little dry. So he asked for extra dressing which they gave with no issue. He enjoyed the chicken salad. We ordered a couple drinks which they have in plastic bottles. finally got into peaches hot house without having to wait! ( I hate to wait. So I don't!) The brownstone punch was really really good. Even took some to go. The bigger bottle shown in photo is $20 The chicken was well seasoned and perfectly fried. These are not my favorite cut of French fries but with plenty salt it'll do ! Review during Covid! This place is amazing. Came here for lunch on a Sunday, to celebrate a friend's birthday. I knew they had the little greenhouses, but just when I got there I realized how cute and practical they are. First of all, when the sun is shining you don't even need the heater: you'll feel like a tropical plant in a greenhouse. We even had to open our roof a little because it was getting too warm. I knew they didn't take reservations, so I got there 10 minutes before they opened. Good call, because I got to pick the table I wanted. But let's talk about food. Their fried chicken is heavenly: crunchy outside, juicy inside, it's just something I'd never attempt making at home. The sides are delicious as well, that Mac and cheese was so rich and satisfying. It was only shrimp and aioli sauce (no lettuce, tomato, or anything special). The cheese grits were pretty plain and lacked flavor so I wouldn't recommend them. The shrimp appetizer has got to be one of the most flavorful dishes I've ever tried. It was spicy, sitting on top of a really delicious sauce with fried grit balls? It was just excellent. I really wished they served that for an entree portion. Now Peaches at the time of this review has no storefront sign. There's a small paper sign behind tinted windows that's easier to see if you're walking as oppose to if you're driving by. I ordered the chicken. I got 3 peices of dark meat, which came with white bread. I requested cornbread since it was around lunch time. I also got fries with my order. I called in a take out order. It took about 15 from start to finish to be ready. I got to there before it was ready. The chicken was scrumptious and spicy (I ordered it "Hot"). It was well seasoned and fried to a crisp. I was very satisfied with the portion of fries. It's a bit pricey but well worth it, because of the quality of the chicken. This is very good spicy chicken. The fries was crispy and plentiful. The cornbread was delicious too and I got a generous serving added complimentary. I highly recommend Peaches for their fried chicken especially if you're looking for the spicy kind. The drink is also good AF! Strong AF! So if you're lightweight like me, one drink should suffice haha! But of course if you can handle drink at own risk lol....I had a rum punch mixture forgot the actual name, but it was on point! Last but not least , ask about dessert! They don't have an official dessert menu but if you ask waiter, they let you know what's in the back. I ordered a maple bourbon pound cake! Yep!
