I really would like to give them 4 stars for the technician, Anthony R. He was quick, informative, and professional. The 3 stars is for the sales person. He told me that this company needed payment in full before they can start on the work. The sales person arrived at my house on Friday evening. He assessed the situation and told me the price. I asked if Peachtree wanted half down now and half when job is complete. He said no, the company policy is that full payment is due before the work is started. I was really taken back. I didn't even have a set date scheduled. I didn't even know who was going to do the work. I told him, I will call on Monday if I decide to choose Peachtree and pay over the phone. When I called and spoke with Ashley, she scheduled a day for me and didn't ask for payment. I was so relieved. She sent me an email with the team profile and a link to their portal to pay. The work was completed to my satisfaction and I went to the portal to retrieve my invoice and pay. It was not there. Ashley told me it will be there the next day. I really felt like a valued trustworthy customer. That Peachtree would do the work first, then trust their customers to pay. I paid promptly the next day. I am glad the sales person was wrong. I almost went with another company. But it makes me think that this sales person was trying to get a commission that day. So for that reason, I give 3 stars because that kind of sales trickery is very unfavorable to me. But it won't stop me from using them again since I now know that this kind of sales tactic does not reflect the views of this company. read more

We just bought fixer upper home and have had the pleasure of working with many employees at Peachtree Pest control. Ashley in the office coincidentally changed locations from where we used to work with her in our previous home. She's always been a pleasure to work with and extremely helpful. She handles all my requests until completed. We also worked with Lamont for our initial home inspector regarding wild life. Even with our busy schedules, he was easily available and met me on my way to run an errand to sign a contract. Of course, he was willing to come to the house again but that would have delayed things, so he made it easy on me. And even after his part of the job was done, he was willing to take my calls and answer my calls with pleasure. We had two gentlemen come out to handle the wild life issues who were very helpful, answered my questions and listened to my specific request and gave excellent advice. Our new quarterly pest technician is Jimmy. We were used to working with Mike in a nearby city, who we became to know and trust greatly, so I was a little hesitant about a new person. But Jimmy was great. He gave me advice about preventing problems, sprayed as I asked (even though it wasn't part of his normal plan) and was very kind. All employees have been professional, courteous and quick to respond when needed. We kept Peachtree Pest Control for service when moving because we had always been treated well and had wonderful service with pricing that was reasonable if not low compared to other pest services. read more

We have used Peachtree Pest Control for our normal, quarterly pest control for over a year since we moved to Decatur, but recently found that we had squirrels and *RATS* in our attic (YUCK!!!). So we called them, and they sent someone out within a couple of days. David was great, and helped us make an informed decision on how best to proceed. But today, Jay G. came out to do the exclusion, and he couldn't have been more caring, professional, or awesome. He talked me through everything (I was clearly freaking out), and he let me know that this is a thing that happens regularly. I loved him as a tech, and also as a person. He was so kind, and his expertise in pest control was top notch. He sealed up our house, then showed me all he'd done. He even changed our dryer vent for us. He absolutely went above and beyond what was required of him, and we are so grateful. THEN, as he was packing up, I went out to look at the box turtle that lives in our yard, and saw a baby rat (vom), and I ran out front to get Jay. He was awesome about coming in and handling that for me, because I was not pleased about it (we think we'd killed the mom a few days ago in a trap, and it was hungry so it came out to find her...no, I know, it's the worst and really sad). Bottom line: quarterly Gary is awesome, we're grateful for David coming out so quickly and working with us, and Jay is an absolute rockstar!! That also stirs up rodents, and the last thing anyone wants to see is a rat and or pest entering inside the homes. For years, I operated as my own pest control, but with such an influx of changes, I thought I try professional help. After intensive research, I contacted Peachtree Pest Control and have been happy with the service from the start. The individuals who should receive the most accolades are the Field Service employees who meet, greet the homeowners, inspect, pick up any dead rodents, or answer questions. Jamal Harris is my area Field Service person. Mr. Harris has an easy smile, professional, friendly, and explains everything to me when I ask. An educated customer is the best customer to have. Companies tout how they can help, but experience shows that not every company stands by their word or have knowledgeable employees who do their job well. WARNING!! We contracted Peachtree to take care of our termite damage. The technician came to apply the treatment and lied that he applied the treatment. My husband went under the house and saw that he didn't do it. So, this guy doesn't get fired for that, we complain and the same guy comes out to reapply the treatment that was never done in the first place. The company had nothing to say for this and did nothing about it. So, almost a year later we have damage in the same area. I contact them and after many phone calls the service mgr for Savannah comes out and tells me he is going to bring someone else out with a stronger flashlight to see if there is termites. I NEVER hear back from him and when I called the company to find out what's up, I'm told there was a reapplication. Well, since I am skeptical from my first experience, I ask for documentation to prove that this has been done. I have still not received this documentation, AND, I have new termite damage I have to pay to have repaired. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE UNTRUSTWORTHY. read more

We've had Mike Suwalski as our serviceperson for several years now. He's really astounding. His service is FIVE STAR - all the way. He's helped me with ant and other issues over the years and is reliable, communicative and professional. We see him at least quarterly (and he's always on time and also quite respectful of our home by putting on protective booties, making sure my children aren't around when he's spraying - although what he uses is non-toxic, etc.) Scheduling is good as we receive a call in advance to ensure that we'll be home and there's never been an issue with changing an appointment. I'd consider this a five star service except for billing. My rate has been arbitrarily increased (albeit by only a minimal amount about which I don't take exception) without proper notice and it appears that the company is working to streamline billing which has not been seamless. We're "bug free" and quite happy about it. read more

I've been a customer of Peachtree Pest Control for 3 years, and Gary Malette has been faithfully treating my home that entire time. Gary is friendly, conscientious, and very helpful. He's a natural educator -- I've learned a lot about bugs -- and he's also quick and efficient. He gets to know his customers, and has adapted his schedule to suit my needs at the last moment a couple of times. The office staff have always taken great care of me on the phone with questions about scheduling and billing. I've used monthly and seasonal plans at various times, and the rates for both are reasonable. I live in a multi-unit dwelling and the neighbors who share my walls don't use pest control, so my critters reappear seasonally, but Peacthree Pest Control keeps buggy-ness to a minimum during the summer months and does away with it completely during the rest of the year. Great experience with Peachtree Pest Control. I called Peachtree Pest Control to address a possible rodent issue. Paul came onsite immediately and was as pleasant as can be. He addressed my issue and it turned out he found the need to perform an exclusion to the house. He explained what needed to be done and advised what was needed clearly and provided the different options. Scheduling with Krissi was easy. She was polite and patient when scheduling my appointment. It actually turned out that an opening came up and Krissi called me to move my appointment up. Adam showed up on time to perform the exclusion. He was proficient and was out before lunch. He showed professionalism and was very pleasant. Paul, Krissi, and Adam all represented excellent customer service in the whole process! My wife and I recently purchased a new home in the Atlanta area and were in need of a new pest control company. Our backyard is almost entirely woods and we learned quickly that this was a breeding ground for insects. We were constantly having little insects creeping into our basement. After a bit of shopping around we decided to go with Peachtree Pest Control because the of their many reviews on Kudzu and because they were locally owned and operated. Within the first week of having our first treatment I noticed a significant difference in the number of insects we found our basement. Instead of finding a bunch of them crawling around in the corners, they were all dead. Within the first month, the problem was completely resolved. The bottom line is that if you're looking for an Atlanta pest control company, I can't recommend them enough! read more

Today (Friday 4/10/2015), I was pulling out of the garage and noted a nest of termites. I literally called almost every Company in town and no one was willing to come out take a look in such a short notice. These guys were on it and came out within 45 minutes of calling to do an inspection. The inspector I dealt with was LEE. He was able to quickly identify the termite problem and write up a fair estimate. During the process, I contacted my HOA and they informed me that I would be covered with another Company. However the process was about 45 minutes, and LEE was very patient and understanding. Although, I did not have a full business deal with these guys I feel that they were fair in their dealings and able to quickly respond which is a desperate home owners first 15 seconds of approval or disapproval of a business. read more

Cameron took over my pest control last year from Peachtree Pest Control. He's been thorough whenever I've called him out to take a look at something specific. He's always taken the time to look in potential trouble spots or answer any questions I have during the quarterly visits. The 5 stars is based on his performance alone. While always pleasant to deal with over the phone, it seems I miss the person that schedules for my area frequently when I contact their home offices. I'm not faulting her for taking lunch or being unavailable, but I do not understand why someone else cannot reschedule an appointment. I do not presume to understand the pest control business or how they choose to divvy up the work, but that particular process could use some tweaking. read more

We have used Peachtree Pest Control for the past few years and Ron Walling is the best in the business. At Nickey Gregory Company, food safety is very important and we want to be the best in our industry. In order to offer the safest product and keep a safe environment, pest control is extremely important. Ron keeps us in compliance and I have never had a problem with his service. At every service, he checks in at the front desk, checks every bait trap in our warehouse (almost 200) wipes them down, makes sure they are in their exact place, checks the outside traps, cleans them, gives an exit report. I highly recommend him to any business. I wish I could clone him for all of our locations. Out of 5 stars, I give him 10......Ron is that good. read more

As a new customer, I couldn't be happier with the service I have received. When I called to inquire about services, Alicia was incredibly enthusiastic and was able to work with my scheduling needs. I was happy to receive an e-mail afterwards with pictures and information on all the employees I would be meeting. Lee came for my inspection, and was very informative about all of my options and what was to happen next. Both my pest control and wildlife services were scheduled to begin on the same day shortly after. Jay and Scott handled the services and were both timely, professional, and knowledgeable. Love these guys! They used to take care of my apartment, and we just had our first service done at the new house. We had a bit of an outbreak at our apartment about a year ago, and Mike came out as much as we needed in-between quarterly visits to be sure it got solved. He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do to fix it. Penny is absolutely wonderful, and even went as far to send a hand written congratulations note on our new home. Jamal H. has been professional, friendly and diligent every time he is here. He was also patient with our many complaints.
