Extremely disappointing. There are no prices posted anywhere, so you have no idea what you're paying until you get to the register. I ordered the smallest cup with only four tiny toppings, and it came out to $9. To make matters worse, they even charge extra for a spoon! The experience didn't end there--they don't even have trash cans inside the shop. Customers have to throw everything away in the city trash can outside the store, which felt odd and inconvenient. Overall, the lack of pricing transparency, the extra charges, and the strict atmosphere left a really bad impression. There are signs all over the store telling kids not to touch anything. They aren't allowed to pull the frozen yogurt levers or even add their own toppings, which takes away what is supposed to be the fun of a self-serve frozen yogurt shop. You're better off going across the street to the grocery store. The "experience" simply wasn't worth the price. read more

Tried this place out, looked online and the flavor variety intrigued me. Walked in and there were about five flavors to choose from. Went with the chocolate and peanut butter swirl. The froyo was way too soft. I added sprinkles, chocolate chips, a wafer, and Reese's pieces. The chocolate sprinkles and Reese's pieces were stale! Totally ruined the flavor of my yogurt. I wanted to like this place because of the proximity to the pier and because it's not the typical Yogurtland chain. Unfortunately the customer service was mediocre to poor and the yogurt was not completely frozen. My daughter's yogurt was completely melted by the time the yogurt was weighed....which was only a couple minutes. At least she could eat it like soup with her spoon but it defeats the purpose of frozen yogurt. Also you aren't able to sample any flavors even if it's your first time. The think the owner was working there today. She was not very friendly. All around it was a bad experience. Someone with mental issues walked into the shop off the street and was scaring my children. No one was present that worked for the store while this happened. The owner was off in the back for at least 5 minutes before she came out to see what going on. We obviously won't be returning. So I have to admit I'm a bit biased because I usually go to yogurtland. I do like it that you can fill up your own yogurt and take exactly the amount you want. That is a plus. With that said they only had one yogurt without dairy. It was a dole pineapple sorbet. Well it was tart it wasn't very sweet. And was very unimpressive. The toppings were sparse compared to yogurtland. Also a turn off was the big sign saying no sampling or eating prior to paying. Lastly they supposedly have a peach wave dairy-free yogurt but it was nowhere to be found sadly. So it barely passes. It's your call if you want to give it a try. read more

My grandsons and I have been going to the one in Seal Beach for about two years. The owner is not friendly, in fact, he acts as if he has never seen us before. Every Tuesday when I pick my grandsons up they asked to go to Peachwave. Its only a half mile from my house, but I have decided that I would rather drive 8 miles and go to Tutti Frutti in Signal Hill, as the service here is friendly and they have good selection of yogurt and snacks. Walked in this evening around 5:40 because I wanted some frozen yogurt and decided to try this place vs. yogurtland to support a local business. I usually get plain tart and when I served myself the yogurt was very runny and had a foul odor to it. I smelled my cup multiple times to smell the yogurt and it gave me an upset stomach. I asked the cashier to smell it to ensure I wasn't crazy and when she smelled it she asked what flavor it was and I told her which one and she said "that's how it smells" sorry but expired milk is not what anything tasty should smell like. I took the risk and after we paid $18 for 2 yogurts I took one bite and tossed my entire cup of froyo which was sad after how pricey it was. Not sure if I will be back. read more

Always a fan of some tasty yogurt, and I tend to like the places like this where you serve yourself. I will say that the flavors are good and we enjoyed it, but I have a couple of star loosing issues. First one is the price. Compared to some places I've gotten yogurt, this is nearly twice the price. I also don't like that they don't offer samples which are generally offered at other yogurt places and ice cream places as well. I'm guessing some people took advantage of this ruining it for others, but that doesn't make it any better. If I'm paying more, I'd like to know what I'm getting. read more

My yogurt was good! It was the closest frozen yogurt place while I was out and about and hit the spot. Docked a star because they had 3 of their flavors out of commission, from an already limited selection. Not a ton of topping options either, but maybe I'm spoiled by yogurtland/ tutti fruiti level of selection. They had lots of signs around ... no samples, kids can't self-serve, etc. my kiddo loves to serve himself at our local go-to spot so that alone would discourage me from coming with my kid/ family. This place is great! A great variety of frozen treats and toppings. All of the toppings are so fresh. The place is spotless - which is hard to find in a store that largely caters to children. What you don't know from the outside is that Peachwave has a great candy collection too. A good place to stop before going to the movies or beach to pick up your favorite candy.
