Love my toenails :) Couldnt get the technicians name, but she does a fantastic job! The spa could have been better. Maybe more scrubbing and more moisturising but overall, it was a good experience.

Came after breaking some nails on my old set, I expected task and last minute but they were attentive. As I walked in the door a staff member greeted and seated me to get a full set($25) and pedicure ($18) right after. COVID measures are in place with everyone wearing masks, plastic dividers between stations and plastic baggies over the pedicure sinks . The color I choose was a Garnett red(amazing), it wasn't runny so I know they are not diluting the colors with acetone and it dried quick.

I love my nails! Great service, they are nice and did my nails exactly how I wanted them.

    LOVE my nails.

Can not remember the gentlemans name BUT he completely delivered exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much!

I'm so disappointed. This is my second time here. I went yesterday (January 22,2021) at around 7:50 pm for a gel pedicure with a fillin on my big toe. ($43) and today is January 23rd, 2021 it's 3am. (12 hours haven't passed yet and the gel is peeling off without me doing anything. You'll see pictures of the gel under and the price I paid. I'm going tomorrow morning to make them fix it depending on if they fix it I might change the review. I'm so upset I have so many plans for today and this is just a speed bump.

Nail FUNGUS!! This is by far the WORST SALON in NYC! DO NOT GO!!!

I WILL NEVER go back to this salon EVER AGAIN. By far the worst nail salon in Brooklyn. The man did my nails really quickly and I thought everything was fine but not only did they pop off quickly, but I was left with FUNGUS from them using the same tools on all of their clients. Very dirty habits. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and NEVER GO HERE!!!

$40. Rushed, bumpy, uneven. Air bubbles everywhere.

If you come for a temporary fill in that's cheap this is the place for you. If you want a long lasting manicure that lasts more than 3 days, this isn't the place for you. My worst experience here was asking for chrome nails. Biggest mistake ever. One of the male techs started doing my chrome nails and was taking his time doing a good job. However soon enough the female manager, told him to go work on pedicures as more women started to come in asking for pedicures. She then took over doing the gel on my nails, rushing, making them messy, bumpy and uneven, and then piling more gel to fix her rushed mistakes. In return, I lost all shape of my nail, ended up with a thick uneven mess, with air bubbles. When pointing out that my nails have: no shape, are too thick, and are filled with air bubbles, the lady responded with "color 1 hour". I never once mentioned anything about the color! She completely pretended to not understand me, as the terms I mentioned are so familiar to someone who's been in the nail business. She kept repeating "color 1 hour" talking over me. I had no choice but to pay and leave. All they want here is your money, no quality whatsoever. Even the older women were complaining about their pedicures being rushed, and utensils not being cleaned properly. Spend the extra dollar or two and get your money's worth. The nail techs here prioritize getting you in and out the door as fast as possible rather than doing a thorough job. Even when getting a regular fill in I had to remind them to file my shape and my nail polish started to wear off after only a few days.

Nails became dirty-looking after only a few days.

Horrible place!! Not clean, terrible manicures/pedicures, rude service. The prices are low and you can see why. Pay more and get a good quality manicure at a clean and professional establishment. I will not be returning.

I went to this location for a mani pedi as they posted it was just $19. I was completely satisfied with both. Then man did a great job and scrubbed my feet really good which I appreciate. Would recommend this as a safe spot for these particular services. Go early as they get busy quickly.

    Acrylic filling + replaced nail = $16 :)

We called ahead and spoke with a gentleman who assured us (1) they were open on Yom Kippur; and (2) they were happy to accommodate my children and friends of mixed genders. When we arrived, the extremely unpleasant older woman at the front desk told us that Thursdays were for men only and turned us away very, very rudely -- despite the fact that the website says that men's only hours begin at 6 p.m.!! We were there around noon.) From the website (https://www.brooklynbanya.com/m): Men only hours: Tuesday 11am-11pm $60pp Thursday 6pm- 1am $60pp From what we could see and smell from the lobby, the place was dark, threadbare, and dingy, with a funky odor of mold mixed with perspiration and other unpleasant, unidentifiable things on top. So perhaps it was a cloud with a silver lining to be turned away. TLDR: - Awful communication. Info posted online is not honored or accurate. Info given verbally is not honored or accurate. - The space -- what we saw of it -- seemed dingy and dirty. - Staff are uninformed and extremely rude.

There were a few minor hiccups that were completely out of the spa's control. Apparently, the entire system went down on Memorial Day. Honestly, I thought they might close for the day, but instead they stayed open and made the best of a difficult situation. They went old school--writing everything down on paper! Despite the inconvenience, the staff remained professional, organized, and did their best to keep everything running smoothly. I really appreciated the effort. We purchased the VIP Experience (Monday-Thursday, entrance between 12-1 p.m.) for $138, and it was absolutely worth it. It included unlimited access to all of the spa amenities for the entire day, plus access to an exclusive private lounge on the top floor. We could order food and drinks, and the staff delivered everything directly to us in the lounge. I believe there are 14 different spa experiences, and we made it our mission to try every single one--multiple times! We spent the entire day there and enjoyed every inch of the facility. My favorite experiences were: The Grand Banya The Cold Plunge The Snow Room The Himalayan Salt Room And my absolute favorite--the Event Sauna Ritual The Event Sauna Ritual was incredible. It's a 30-minute aromatherapy experience that promotes circulation and relaxation using hand-tied oak leaf bundles and snowballs infused with essential oils. This group experience was very invigorating and therapeutic you leave the room feeling completely refreshed and relaxed. It was honestly one of the highlights of the day. According to their website, the herbal steam rituals are offered: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 1 PM, 3 PM, 5 PM Friday: 6 PM Saturday: 4 PM (Grand Banya), 6 PM (Event Sauna) Sunday: 1 PM, 3 PM, 5 PM Now, let's talk about the food--because it was surprisingly delicious! Since we spent the entire day there, we had both breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately, I only took photos of my breakfast and then my phone went back into my robe. I was there to technically relax not review. For breakfast, I ordered the Countryside Breakfast Plate, which came with fried sausages, eggs, crispy home fries, toast and a fresh salad of arugula, tomatoes, bell peppers, and cucumbers. They even brought out an assortment of jams upon request, which was a nice touch. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. Because the system was down, they were gracious enough to give us our breakfast for free. By the end of the day, the system was up and running. For dinner, we shared the Korean-Style Crispy Fried Chicken Wings with the sweet chili sauce on the side. They were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. We also ordered a side of fries. For my entrée, I had the Miso Salmon. It normally comes with asparagus and quinoa, but I substituted the quinoa for mashed potatoes. The salmon was cooked perfectly, the mashed potatoes were creamy, and the entire dish was delicious. Overall, I had an amazing experience and would absolutely return the next time I'm back in Brooklyn. Between the relaxing spa amenities, the excellent food, the attentive staff, and the way they handled an unexpected technical issue, World Spa made for a memorable day. If you're looking to spend an entire day relaxing and recharging, I definitely recommend giving it a try.
