I had the best pedicure here! I came in on a Sunday late afternoon because this place was still open when my usual spot already closed. I just felt like needing a pedi so I got the Deluxe pedicure that came with the paraffin wax and gel polish for $87. It's slightly on the pricey side but the place is so nice. Okay, so to start off -- I asked for a manicure and builder gel, but didn't get any manicure care. He immediately started drilling my nails without soaking them first. I've been coming here for years. Today was disappointing. I asked for Builder gel fill, i didnt mind the wait since I was a walk in. After she was done, i realized the manicure/cuticle removal was not included. I nicely asked the front desk to please do it. So the lady who did my nails brought me back and it almost felt like im such an inconvienient and she was pissed. Not only the gel art was a bit sloppy (see the pics) the addional $10 i paid for cuticle removal was so bad. Considering how much i paid, this was disappointing. Went here for a walk in on a Saturday and they were packed! This place is such a cute nail salon with a beautiful interior. They do provide more of a spa experience rather than a quick in and out nail spot. So in my opinion, their prices are fair for the level of detail and service they offer. I got a gel mani by Christine and loved it. She was meticulous and listened to my requests. I highly recommend her. I wasn't too big of a fan of my pedicure - I didn't catch her name but she was definitely going through the motion and it felt rushed. I noticed she had set the massage timer before even starting to massage so just keep a lookout for minor things like that. On the other hand, my sister LOVED her pedicure. She even fell asleep at one point. Her nail lady was Hanna and she highly recommends her. Overall, I loved my mani and my sister loved her pedi. I just moved into the area and needed to find a new Nail Tech. I came across this business through Tik Tok, this salon is only 10 minutes away from me which was a plus! The environment is luxurious and cozy and the front desk lady was kind! The Nail Tech I got was Teresa and Hana. Teresa did amazing on my Gel Mani. She was friendly, gentle, and attentive! Updating my 5-star review as this place has really gone down. They do not clean/take care of their store. It was a beautiful spa-like clean environment before, and now...no more! Dirty windows, cobwebs in the corners, the gold trims full with dirt and their drawers, massage chairs also. It has this run down look that makes it clear the care and precision has left this place. Pains me to have to write this but I was here on August 3rd to do a gel pedi. I was a walk in and they were pretty busy which wasn't an issue but it was over an hour wait but I didn't mind because they always take care of me here. By the time it was my turn they assigned me an older lady (didn't get her name but she had a bob). Super nice and accommodating at first until it came down to actually cutting the nails. I told her if she could cut all the small toes super short and just trim the big one a little bit to keep it a square shape. She trimmed the small toes and didn't bother with the big toe. I saw her starting to shape and I asked her hey (before she spent any more time shaping) so for the big one can you trim a little to make it square and you can cut the little one more please. She wasn't understanding so she had the girl at the front desk come translate and then we finally got it fixed but I believe the lady was bothered. Because after she just started grabbing my leg/and feet very rough. Was feeling completely manhandled and that wasn't how she was treating me at first. She started using the other nail cutting tool to get the edges (none of the other techs this far have done that) and she started really cutting deep into my nail. I am a person who's patient and has a high pain tolerance so if you get a reaction out of me it's because they're really pushing. She was pushing down so hard on the side of the nail that I literally flinched in pain and verbally said "ow that hurts" and she just chuckled it off and kept going onto the next nail no sorry no nothing. I stayed quiet and at this point was in pain and super uncomfortable and just wanted to leave but I had waited over an hour so I was like well let me just get this over with. She was over cutting my cuticles too I felt the burn after she had me put my feet back in the water and didn't notice any scabbing until the following day around my nails. Aside from that when it came to the French paint job she showed me the first nail and I asked if she can make it a little thicker and even gestured bigger since I know her English was limited. She didn't understand and went thinner, after I said it again like bigger she made it thicker but the line practically looked straight the ends weren't curving in to give the flattering shape that frenchies have. But because I was tired uncomfortable and just wanted to leave and just nodded saying that was fine but because she could tell I wasn't convinced she called the front desk lady again and I told her the same thing. We finally got it to a spot to where it looked as best as she could get it. Finally the service was done and you could just tell she was bothered by me and since we were at the ends of the service she switched her demeanor back to how it was at the start. She was being nice again but I literally just wanted to cry and leave out of there. Made me feel like I was being a difficult customer and I felt bad that I didn't want to even leave a tip. I always give the girls $10-20 of tip and I couldn't bring myself to do it and just walked out since the front desk lady (super nice and accommodating) had pre charged me towards the end of the service. read more

This is a tough one. Had never been here but it was middle ground for a friend and I to meet. Had pedicure appts and I arrived on time ... she was 10 minutes late so that probably didn't help anything run smoothly. I was seated a few minutes later and offered a variety of drinks ranging from a mimosa to Vietnamese coffee!! I opted for the coffee which I found very tasty. The pedi chair was nice- but when I went to change setting the screen on the remote was broken so you had no idea how to adjust the type of massage or the intensity- which was a bummer. My pedi was $37 reg or $47 with gel... plus $5 for calus treatment...so $52 a was my total. For a little place in LEMON GROVE, this was pretty steep. I paid that in La Jolla at a resort and spa and the massage was longer and nicer. Would we return? Not likely. Nothing horrible to say, but I can spend $15 less at next local spot. read more
