We've been going to peak for 5 years. We love everyone we have seen. Everyone is friendly. Today, Jaimes and Brittany were wonderful.

Waited till after my daughters 6 month appointment to write my review!…read more We first went to Sunflower Pediatrics for our interview with Dr. Mathad. It went really well and enjoyed all her answers to our questions. They try their best to see your little one same day they are sick as they understand the difficulties of a sick child. They also have a texting number for after hours in case of emergencies. Which has been helpful our first month as I was that paranoid mother haha. Unfortunately, after our first appointment and first month appointment, we never met with Dr. Mathad. It was a little disheartening as we thought she was going to be our pediatrician due to her saying we'd see strictly her the first year for checkups. We got Dr. Patel at the first month appointment and have been going to her ever since! She is such a kind, heart warming and informational doctor. She never dismisses my huge list of questions haha. I'm glad we get her as our pediatrician!! She has been such a joy at every appointment. The staff too have been nothing but amazing!! They are informed on my daughters chart as soon as I walk in and leave the office. She had an allergic reaction to one of her shots and they were nothing short of supportive and caring. That really got me right there! Overall, this place is wonderful. They see kids up till their 20s, so that they are comfortable with their doctor they've known since birth! Hopefully my daughter will continue going here.

As a recent Medical Assistant graduate, I accepted this position excited to finally begin my career. I was willing to learn, take feedback, and put in the effort to become a strong member of the team. Unfortunately, I did not feel that I was given a fair chance to do that. What was especially frustrating was going through training and having my time invested, only to ultimately be told that I was not the "right fit." I was also told, essentially, that I was not the person they had interviewed. I found that extremely hurtful because I felt like opinions about me were formed before people had actually taken the time to know me or give me the opportunity to prove myself. There were also communication issues that made the experience even more frustrating. For example, I was told I was 30 minutes late, but I had been told by Laura to come in at 8:30. I explained that I had not even been added to the Homebase app yet, so I did not have access to the schedule they were referencing. Instead of working through the communication issue with me, it became an argument. I also experienced what felt like a very unwelcoming work environment. I believe coworkers should be professional and respectful, especially toward someone who is brand new to the field. I was trying to find my place and learn, not walk into a workplace where I already felt judged. Being a new graduate does not mean I know everything. It means I am there to learn. I would have appreciated patience, clear communication, constructive feedback, and an actual opportunity to improve before a decision was made about whether I belonged there. I take responsibility for continuing to grow professionally, but I also believe employers have a responsibility to properly train and support new graduates. Unfortunately, I did not feel supported or given enough time to demonstrate what I could bring to the position. This experience was disappointing, especially because I entered healthcare wanting to build a career and genuinely hoped this would be a place where I could grow. I hope the clinic reflects on how it treats new graduates and considers giving future employees the fair chance that I feel I was not given.
