In fact,…read morethey are a couple of my favorites of the 7 or so that I have done at various establishments! Tika's business is a tiny bit hard to find...your GPS will tell you that you have arrived and you will be in the middle of Crater Lake Avenue wondering if you are drunk or crazy. You might be, but Visions of Wonderland is a tucked away corner of one of the three buildings on the corner lot there. Essentially, pull in like you are going to Squeeze-In Sandwich shop and drive around the building to the back. Tucked in the corner you will find Visions! Tika has a great attitude, a fun style, serves up coffee, tea and sometimes a sweet snack. You can bring your own beverages and snacks, as well. Tika is patient and talks the class easily through the painting, even challenging ones! I've been following Visions of Wonderland on Facebook for the last few months, and I love how Tika keeps it interesting, promotes the different classes, for kids, different media and she also takes suggestions for new ideas! If you have ever wanted to try a "sip and paint" or are looking for a different place to try, check out Tika at Visions of Wonderland!

I rarely leave negative reviews, and I always try to give a business the opportunity to make things…read moreright before posting publicly. Unfortunately, Lithia Resort chose not to respond at all. During our two-night stay, the entire hotel lost water at approximately 10:00 PM, and it wasn't restored until around 6:30 the following morning. This wasn't a minor inconvenience. My daughter was in the middle of a shower with soap all over her body and had no way to rinse off except with bottled water. We couldn't flush the toilet in our room for the entire night and had no choice but to continue using it. It made for an incredibly unpleasant and unsanitary experience. Things happen. I understand that. Hotels can't always prevent emergencies. What matters is how they respond. When we checked out the next morning, the manager acknowledged the situation and told us they would be applying a discount to our stay. That never happened. After returning home, I sent a courteous email to the hotel explaining what happened and simply requested that they refund the one night that was affected. I wasn't asking for both nights. I thought that was a fair and reasonable request given that one of the most basic services a hotel provides, running water, was unavailable for nearly nine hours. They never responded. No refund. No discount. No apology. Not even the courtesy of a reply. The complete lack of communication is honestly more disappointing than the water outage itself. Problems happen. Ignoring your guests after promising to make things right is a choice. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend staying in a different hotel when visiting Ashland.

Have you ever wanted to overpay for an inexistent reservation? Acme Suites is your best bet!…read more We booked a condo for $600, but when we checked our credit card, they billed us for $840, an unexpected hike of $240. Since they will not pick up the phone nor answer your emails, rest assured you will not have a chance to dispute the charges! Since they already billed us, we decided to make the 6h drive from San Francisco to Oregon, hoping they will honor the $840 they overcharged us and have the place available for us when we arrive that night. On the day of the drive, we checked our bank account to realize that they refunded the $840, with no notification of the refund whatsoever. At this point, we were already 5h into our 6h drive to Oregon. Living in San Francisco, I've always wanted to experience unexpected homelessness. Acme Suites gave the opportunity for us to do so. Thank you for the thrill!

Very quiet, easy parking and a gym with an excellent personal trainer in the downstairs. Claudia, the Property Manager, has been incredibly helpful and responsive on those very few occasions we needed her help. She's as pleasant and easy to work with as any property manager we have met and has always been available to help. The suites themselves are all different, and they are very reminiscent of Soho lofts. Fully furnished and easy walking to restaurants and bars such as Jefferson Spirits and Porters. And a very easy walk to the Growers Market on Thursday's at Hawthorne Park. We have rented other suites as friends and family have visited. The location makes it very convenient and easy to get to Ashland, Jacksonville or Grants Pass. Also, quite central to the great vineyards in the surrounding Rogue And Applegate Valleys. When we first started staying in Medford we rented a suite at the Marriott, but soon moved to Acme. More space at Acme, better value and right in Downtown Medford. We are leaving Medford in a couple of weeks, but we'll be back regularly over the next year or so. Definitely planning to stay at Acme every time it's available. K

Worst birthday party venue experience ever…read more From the moment we arrived, the experience was disappointing. We were initially seated in the toddler area, and the website allows you to pay based on the number of jumpers without making it clear that seating is apparently only provided for the children jumping--not for parents or other guests. Thankfully, an employee was able to move us to a larger table. We ordered two pizzas for $20.99 each and two "sodas" for $4.99 each. What we received were two Sam's Club 2-liter bottles. Then, when we were expecting our pizzas, we noticed a Papa John's delivery driver leaving the building. My husband went outside to speak with the driver, and sure enough, it was our pizza. We were told that the employees had refused to sign for the delivery. This was especially frustrating because the venue charges a $50 outside-food fee, yet the pizza we purchased directly through them was being supplied by Papa John's for a total of $25.99 (as we got the receipt from the driver we had to chase down in the parking lot) At that point, we asked to cancel the party. The employee contacted the manager, who refused to speak with us directly. Instead, we were told that we "don't just get to complain and cancel." The manager then proceeded to review the cameras and told us that our party had wandered "too far" from our assigned table--even though we were in a completely empty section of the building with no other patrons around. We were essentially expected to remain seated at our table rather than mingle with our own guests during a birthday party. The reason given that they would have to "clean the area again" and had just cleaned it. The entire experience was so poorly managed that it honestly became laughable. The lack of customer service, transparency, and basic hospitality was incredibly disappointing. This was, without a doubt, the trashiest birthday party experience I have ever paid for. If negative stars were an option, I would absolutely give them, in particular to the manager Aaron who didn't even have the decency to speak to us. The poor employees even appeared embarrassed on behalf of this establishment, for $150 I would stay far away from this place.
