Free parking in Wellfleet mid-day on a Friday

Free parking in Wellfleet! We got a table right away close to lunchtime on a Thursday. Nice views. Great spot. Really attentive service. The food was meh. The tomato in my "hold the lettuce because of the explosive diarrhea thing' buratta salad was terrible for July. Good drinks though.

The location is great and it seems to be a good restaurant by the amount of people present on a Sunday afternoon. However, I can't give it a full rating as I think the lobster roll meat may have been bad when we visited. Soon after my partner eat it, it was exiting her body both ways.

I'm glad I listened to good advice from a frequent Cape Cod traveler. Pearl is a great stop in Wellfleet for happy hour cocktails and seafood. Very nice harbor view from upper deck. The service provided by hostess and our waiter, Andrew was excellent. Seated promptly and food and beverages just as fast. Laid back feel as we listened to house band jam away. All the seafood dishes being served looked fresh and fantastic. We opted for light fare this time with peel and eat shrimp in their house seasoning very similar to Old Bay. Plenty of parking in marina.

Awesome food! It took a long time to get seated, but good on them for getting so much traffic. We ended up coming on a live music day too, so I'm sure that impacted the wait time. The music was fun to have in the background - not too loud, good music. We got the bangin' shrimp entree and nachos to split. The shrimp dish was especially delicious, and I'd definitely get that again. It's worth coming back here again, for sure

The menu had a decent variety between land and sea. As someone traveling in, who arguably doesn't like seafood (fully understanding this is a seafood hub), the chicken pesto Alfredo was a great hit. This restaurant is a great summer visit when in Wellfleet! Service was great! Great food and great drinks!!

This is the place to be if you're in Wellfleet. There's a band on most afternoons during happy hour and every comes out so expect it to be busy. While I didn't love the lobster rolls, their fried shrimp are both huge, juicy and delicious. Get a plate as appetizers or the shrimp tacos. Both are great! Finally, when in Wellfleet, get the oysters! They're not too brine-y and delicious.

We always really like this place! Will say the scampi was pretty bland so not my favorite, I'd go with the lobster risotto instead!

Loved my shrimp tacos, the sauce was incredible and paired perfect with the taco! Great drinks! And it was right by the water, so pretty and a great spot to check out by the pier!

It was below average for wellfleet seafood, kind of bland and not well thought out. Your better off going to Catch of the Day or Blackfish.

Service was excellent - the host accommodated our last-minute request for outdoor seating and our waiter was super friendly and knowledgeable. My fiancé and I ordered the Wellfleet oysters with mignonette and the house focaccia (both a must try!) to start, and the scallops and daily catch (yellowfin tuna) as our mains. Patio was lively, with fun music and cute lighting, without being overcrowded or too loud. Overall we had a perfect night and will definitely be back!

For those considering The Wicked Oyster for dinner, I highly caution you to consider otherwise…read more My husband and I (age 40) visited The Wicked Oyster Provisions shop the day before our dining experience and had a wonderful time. The woman working in the shop was hosting a wine tasting, and we left with some delicious provisions as a result. Because of our great experience, we booked a dinner reservation for the restaurant the next evening. Upon arriving for our reservation, we were promptly seated at a 4-top table in the front room. It was a cloudy day, but even so the room was quite dark. One guest dining was using a phone flashlight in an attempt to read the menu at 6pm. A tea light candle would have done worlds for not only the lighting, but the overall ambiance. While the interior paint color was lovely, the 90's hotel art and Home Depot lighting left a lot to be desired. We ordered the fingerling potatoes, Wellfleet oysters, scallops, and lobster cavatelli. The fingerling potatoes (our snack) came out at the same time as our appetizer (the oysters). We were disappointed that the potatoes were quite dry and overcooked atop what tasted equivalent to a jarred romesco sauce. We quickly ran out of sauce in an attempt to resuscitate the potatoes. The oysters were fine, but not notably different than the Wellfleet oysters we purchase from Whole Foods at home, in Colorado. My husband ordered the scallops, which were served in a seasonal corn sauce with zucchini and peaches. The scallop portion was generous, but the sauce left a lot to be desired. He described it as more of an unseasoned creamed corn than a sauce and there wasn't a pine nut (as advertised) in sight. My pasta was equally disappointing. At this price point, I expected a fresh rolled pasta, which was not the case. The pasta was quite flavorless and the "sauce" was runny and unseasoned. It was also served with a fork, which was quite comical for both my husband and the two tables around us with his watery the sauce was. I might also note that I received a quarter-sized chunk of parm on top, rather than a grated garnish. Thinking it was a chunk of lobster, I bit into it and was quite surprised. The service was attentive, but felt a lot more casual than we expected. We were surprised to see what many of the service staff were dressed in athleisure attire. At this price point, I would expect otherwise. We were glad that our water glasses stayed full, but wish that had been with the sparkling water we ordered, rather than the still water poured. Our sparkling water bottle remained largely full as a result. Overall, we are unable to recommend this restaurant. This is only our third year traveling to the Cape, but would far recommend restaurants like The Pheasant, Baliene, or Chatham Fish Pier over this experience. We left thankful that this wasn't our last night in town and had one more chance to enjoy a nice dinner on the Cape.

We were recently invited by friends to join them for dinner at Moby Dicks and we accepted, excited to try it. I have to say it has been the single most impressive visit I have ever had on Cape Cod. All these years, who knew! I've eaten at Lobster Pot, CBI, the Wequassett, the Wayside, Pelham House and several other top restaurants on this peninsula and none of them have left me feeling like Moby Dicks. From the moment I pulled into the parking lot that was chock full of cars and was assisted with parking my car by a very nice young man to standing in line and being offered fresh tasty watermelon while I waited to the young woman who came around and collected our watermelon rinds to the unbelievably nice staff who kept checking on us during out meal. Who does all this these days? Speaking to the staff, I became aware of their accents. They are from all over the world...Croatia, North Africa and so many more far away places. They spoke very highly of the restaurant's owners and actually said they loved working there. This is a win win situation folks. The staff is happy which encourages them to show up for work - unlike so many places these days. This makes the bosses happy which trickles down to the customer who ends up with the best part of the deal...great food at reasonable prices and a hell of a staff to serve you! I don't do reviews but felt propelled to leave this one. Kudos to you Moby Dicks for making families, friends, couples, etc have one of the best nights of their Summer! Oh BTW, I had the blackened swordfish, my boyfriend had the whole belly clams and our friends had the captain's plate and the kabobs - all of it was fabulous and cooked perfectly.
