For someone who has been traumatized by dental procedures since my early youth, I can genuinely and confidently say that dealing with Dr. Saini has changed my perspective and helped mitigate my apprehension and dislike of going to the dentist. I have hypersensitive gums and a natural high tolerance level to anesthetic. The perfect combination for a traumatic dental experience. Most dentists would disregard this and give you the usual "oh its in your head, there's no way the anesthetics haven't kicked in yet" crap... As a result, I have been going from one dentist to another for the past 20 years accross 4 countries in 3 continents. Working with Dr. Saini is a breath of fresh air. She LISTENS and takes your input and concern into account. She quickly realized what most dentists didn't, that my anxiety is fueled by real perception of actual pain and didn't hesitate to prescribe adequate medication for me to take before any major work (and there was a lot of that as I had been procrastinating any dental work for almost a year). The front desk staff are responsive, courteous, accommodating and simply amazing people who don't see or treat you like a number with an attached insurance. I can't count the number of times where I was seen within minutes of calling for urgent work, including on weekends and late in the day. Worst dentist/doctor ever. She shouldn't be a doctor at all. Harpreet Saini had done a root canal on my tooth 6-7 years back. After 3-4 years when I went to another dentist to a different state, I found out that Harpreet Saini missed a nerve which developed infection and now many other dentists are recommending me to remove the tooth. This is so dangerous, if I dont remove the tooth, the infection can spread to rest of the body and can damage an organ and I can die. This was my first time to this dental clinic with my husband. I had had my teeth cleaned several times in other dental clinics before and they were all great, so I was looking forward to this cleaning and meeting a new dentist! However, this time the cleaning service made me feel uncomfortable! ! The whole cleaning process was like this: 3 minutes to fill out the form, 10 minutes to take photos (I would like to give a thumbs up to the assistants who took photos here! They were very polite and patient, and the service was meticulous and thoughtful!) Then a doctor came in and introduced herself as Dr. Harpreet Saini !! asked me what language I could speak, and then said that it is time for the cleaning. Then she left, and the nightmare time began. Without any notice, I sat in the dental cleaning chair and waited. People came and went outside the counter, but no one came in. After more than 30 minutes, the assistant came over and asked me to wait a little longer, saying that the doctor was busy. I asked how long I had to wait, but there was no clear answer. She said wait a little, it shouldn't take too long. ...About 10 minutes more later, Dr. Harpreet Saini came in, and I thought she should apologize for being late? However, she didn't say anything, but asked me directly and rudely: What is your job ? I said: recently no go work., she continued to asked : What did you do before? I didn't answer her question. I waited so long, was it to answer the questionnaire? So I told her that my husband was waiting for me, he had been waiting for me outside for a long time, can we start? She didn't say anything and worked on,During the nearly 6 minutes (note that it was 6 minutes, yes, I spent about 50 minutes waiting, and got only 6 minutes of teeth cleaning?), the tools in her hand touched my gums and upper and lower lips several times. Her movements were extremely rude and hasty. The water for washing teeth splashed on my clothes and flowed on my chin. She didn't stop to tidy it up. There was no communication during the whole process. When I said that there was something wrong, she rudely told me that it was just like that! And tried to end the service. She was unprofessional and had a bad attitude throughout the whole process. It was obviously not suitable for this well-decorated clinic! !! I will never forget that she at the end walked to the front desk and told to the front desk that if she didn't make an appointment, I wouldn't make an appointment either! Scraped gums, painful fillings and a lack of empathy which led to me NOT going to the dentist for several years. Then I come into contact with Pearl Shine until after recent move and decided to take a chance. I'm so glad I did. I admit - I'm a big baby! My teeth are sensitive and I absolutely hate the feeling of nerve pressure in my teeth. So I was very saddened to hear that I needed six fillings replaced! However Dr. Saini made it a breeze. She was gentle, efficient and super friendly. Her and her staff not only took care of my teeth (they look better than ever), but even allowed me to watch Netflix. She is very patient and is one of the few health care professionals that has such perfect and intuitive diagnosis. I highly recommend Dr. Saini, Like many other people I don't like to visit the dentist's office even at the best of times, but its the friendly nature that makes it all that much better. I'm very happy how much work she does in one sitting. I had plenty of filling that needed to be done on one side of the mouth, and instead of 1 or 2 we covered maybe 5 (yes my teeth where in an atrocious state). I was more tired of sitting in the chair for hour and a half then from the drilling, and honestly, less visits the better. Very pleased with her work! After avoiding the dentist for 1-2 years, due to poor experiences in the past, I finally decided to get my teeth checked out at Pearl Shine Dental. Fortunately, the practice is in-network for my insurance and it is conveniently located near my office. The check-in process was smooth at the front desk. The office was extremely clean and presentable. Zarina (not sure if I'm spelling her name correctly!), the Dental Assistant, was very kind and helpful during the initial check up. She took her time to explain what she was doing with the x-rays and what she was looking for. After the x-rays were complete and reviewed by Dr. Saini, she took the time to not only explain to me what she saw as potential risks, but she gave me a mirror to hold onto to visually see her areas of concern. Additionally, she provided a list of solutions and provided potential risks for each solution. She did not rush me to make any decisions and made sure that I felt like I was part of the treatment plan. Overall it was a great first visit and I look forward to my next appointment.
