Stopped by as I was heading out. Got an everything bagel with veggie cream cheese, lettuce, tomatoe, onion and a cup of coffee. I'm from NY so my standard is pretty high. These bagels were very good. The back eating area along Fish Creek with the wind chimes is adorable and a peaceful place to sit and enjoy brunch. Great spot. Would recommend.

Yummy bagel that definitely hit the spot today. After a long run out near Wilson, I decided I needed a good post run snack. The bagel was soft and chewy. They slather that cream cheese on nice and thick which I really appreciate. I'm not sure why I decided to add sprouts (kinda random) but I'm so glad I did. The freshness and little crunch was just perfect! They only have one smoothie on their menu. It's just whatever fresh fruit they have. Today it was mixed berries. Super yummy! It was cold and refreshing and just what I needed after a long run. Lots of berries, a little banana, and some oj!

The best bagels anywhere! I go to the one in WILSON, and I love to sit by Fish Creek and have my coffee and bagel sandwich and just breathe in and breathe out. i've been coming here for years.I am LOL at people who complain about the service here. These people are serving many customers and doing their very best. yes the girls who work here are brisk, but they are working hard and I suggest developing a slightly thicker skin when placing orders with a tiny business that is doing its best to keep its head above water during these difficult times. So worth it! Be cool! And keep your social distance! And take a deep breath!

Great spot in Wilson to grab an early bagel (with everything) and coffee before you hit the road.

It's really hard to believe what Pearl Street is selling these days. Bagels are consistently hard and clearly not fresh. I don't get it.

The staff at the front was friendly and helpful and my food was immediately ready, which seemed magical. I got two breakfast bagels, which were delicious. My companion also thought so. Both were premade, but were soo good. We got the everything bagels with meat and egg. I thought about these sandwiches for days after. The bagel was a good size, flavorful, and soft. I also ordered a sweet bagel with mountain berry cream cheese. I was excited to try something sweet, but was immediately let down. The bagel even looked different. It was small, kinda burnt, and seemed to not be baked well. The cream cheese also had no flavor. We both tried bites of it, but felt it was bad enough to throw away. What a let down. The breakfast bagels were so good, we'd come back, even with the bad sweet bagel. Maybe it was a fluke or bad morning?

The inside is not too big but enough spots for a group to sit if you get 2 tables, just keep a look out people come in and out pretty quickly. They were out of their Lox Bagel with actual salmon and we accidentally ordered the bagel with salmon but just in the cream cheese. Make sure to clarify when ordering this as we were confused and never heard of it before. The salmon cream didn't have a strong flavor, maybe the cream cheese was pretty overpowering. I did prefer the sandwiches over the cream cheese bagels. There is a thick layer of meat but not much sauce on either sandwich so I would recommend asking for either extra or on the side. The bagels itself were a little on the thicker side, they were toasted but not much as seen from the pictures. They were pretty doughy, not a personal favorite. The workers were nice and gave recommendations for favorites. They also were pretty fast so it didn't take long to go in and out.

Highly recommend all the things we ordered, which were: French Toast, yogurt and granola, spinach feta, ham and cheese croissant, chocolate croissant, lemon lavender scone, kouign amann, lavender honey latte (which was a seasonal item) and drip coffee! I would have taken pics but ugh we couldn't wait. That's how good they were! How this bakery got 2nd place for the James Beard award but we thought they deserved FIRST!

We were very surprised to find the line already went out the door! The line moved fast and boy you better be ready to order when you step up, because it is a fast moving, no messing around system. In addition there were at least three employees taking orders at the counter so the pastry case is extremely crowded and it's difficult to view what the options are. The employees weren't un-kind, but they there were no niceties like "good morning". They wanted to move you through the line quickly, so we didn't feel we could really peruse the pastries and so we skipped it and we just ordered a hot coffee and a large hot almond milk latte. People were already more than crowded inside waiting for their items so we stepped onto the patio. It was a chilly morning so the small fire pit was welcomed. For the giant crowd waiting we received our drinks within a reasonable time frame. They call names from inside behind the counter, so if you are not within 4 feet of the counter you will not hear them. We sat on the patio near the garden and the view was beautiful. My "large" latte was the same small size of my husband's drip coffee and both appeared to be around 12-14oz. Disappointing. The drip coffee was okay, but not worth returning for and my almond milk latte was also just okay. We maybe would have given Persephone another try, but in the end we chose to try the many other coffee/bakery shops in downtown. I'm not saying 'stay away', I'm just saying it's not as amazing as the hype. Other tips -look at the menu BEFORE you get in line, especially if it is buys -if you happen to snag an indoor seat realize there will be little to no privacy as the line will form right next to your table. -the birds outside are cute, friendly and will absolutely eat your food if you leave it unattended for even a moment - we saw a pack of small birds try to fly off with an entire egg croissant sandwich in the 1min the owner stepped inside for napkins. *don't worry, we stopped them

The seasonal Honey & Flowers Latte was good, but too sweet for me (it leans heavy on the lavendar too). After trying all the drip coffee at the other local coffee shops, my husband said this was the best. Thus our second visit. My second visit I tried an iced almond milk latte, no frills, and it was good. The almond milk thwy use has a distinct flavor so it threw me. I added some raw sugar and it was better. ***TIP - their ice cubes are huge, so ask for light ice. I love all the natural light, the patio searing and the loft seating was my favorite. The Snake River image on the black pillar changes colors and its beautiful! I would highly recommend checking out Snake River Roasting on your trip to Jackson.
