After having a very upsetting experience at the Sunset location, I called the Pearle Vision at 75 S Valle Verde Dr. and spoke with Skye. I was actually crying on the phone because I was so frustrated, and she could not have been kinder. She told me to take my time, listened to everything that had happened, and told me to come in and that they would make it right. That alone meant so much to me. Skye and the manager, Janet, were absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Their location advertises the same satisfaction guaranteed, no questions asked policy, and they actually stood behind it. I went back to my eye doctor three times while we worked through adjustments to my prescription, and Valle Verde replaced my lenses twice without making me feel like I was a problem. Skye kept telling me to come back if something still wasn't right and that they would keep working with me until I was satisfied. And they did. This is the Pearle Vision location I will be going to from now on. Janet and Skye treated me with patience, compassion, professionalism, and genuine care. After the experience I had at Sunset, the difference was unbelievable. They truly deserve recognition, and I plan to make sure their leadership knows what an exceptional job they did. For some odd reason the Pearle Vision we go to near our home (which is also very close to Galleria Mall) was completely booked of appointments until mid September (I tried making the appointment in early July) so we came to this location instead. To be quite honest, I might just start coming to this location from now on, I liked it that much. The space is large and there is a lot of room to walk around freely, especially if you are browsing the glasses. The patient rooms are also larger, with a chair if you have someone with you at your appointment. This goes for the testing rooms too. It wasn't as hot in these ones compared to the other location because it was bigger with more space and a nice oscillating fan. Checking into our appointments was super easy and we didn't have to wait long to be called back. The doctor I saw was absolutely fantastic. She was easy to talk to and understood my eye issues immediately. My husband also saw her and he said the same thing. Checking out was super easy. The only issues I have are the CC fee (which I understand but don't have to like) and there could be more seating for people who are waiting for appointments. read more

I came here for a new prescription last year, the prescription didn't take and was massively off, giving me headaches and making one eye unable to see. I had to go get my old expired prescription and have it put into my glasses instead. Now 11 months later, when I'm asking for my prescription so that I can order new glasses online, I'm finding out that they used different pupillary distance measurement than the one that I gave them to put into my glasses. These people are unprofessional, they cannot explain anything to you coherently, they are massively overpriced. Go somewhere else or get glasses at your own risk here. In 20+ years, I never had a problem with my prescription or my glasses when I went to Costco optical, and that was regardless of which state or which location I went to. It wasn't until I paid more money for a prescription and came to Pearle vision that I ended up having an issue. So shame on me for having come here in the first place and not having just returned to Costco optical as I had always done. read more

I once gave this place 5 stars. Not anymore. I'd been a loyal customer of this location for 20 years having purchased numerous pairs of glasses over that time. It'd always been a positive experience. Not sure what has happened but over the last several years this place has become awful, incompetent and unprofessional. My first problem happened around 3 years ago. I got 2 pairs of glasses: one for distance and one pair of sunglasses. When I returned a week or so later, they gave me TWO pairs of distance glasses, not making one of them sunglasses. OK, no big deal since this was the first problem I ever had. It took 2 more weeks before the sunglasses were ready. I picked them up and within a few blocks of driving home, I realized the street signs were blurry so I went back. They advised me that the prescription was filled incorrectly. I had to wait another week and a half. The sunglasses were now fine. Ok, no big deal since this was only the 2nd problem I ever had. About a year and a half ago, I went for an eye exam and to get new glasses (reading and distance) I returned a week or so later to pick up both pairs. The reading glasses were fine. However, within a few days, it seemed like the prescription for my distance glasses was off yet again. I returned. They advised me that the eye dr had written down the wrong prescription! (not kidding) I got another exam (at no cost.) The exam was perfect and I picked up the corrected pair a week or so later. This was my 3rd problem I'd had in recent years and was starting to lose faith. I recently went again to get a pair of distance glasses. I didn't need another exam because it'd been less than a year. My glasses were ready in a few days. However, yet again, the prescription was wrong! The part my pupil looks through is too small. In other words, if I'm driving and need to read a road sign rather than just glancing at the sign, I have to turn my head completely. Or if I'm watching TV, I have to keep my head perfectly straight. Even if I move my head a millimeter, everything becomes blurry. It's like looking through a tunnel. I went back to ask them (yet again) to doublecheck the prescription and what I witnessed motivated me to write this review. It was weekday afternoon. There were 3 employees behind the front counter, one at a table and just one customer in the store looking at frames. Granted, the store was empty (other than 1 other customer) but the employees at the counter were loud, rambunctious, disorderly and VERY unprofessional. I felt like I wandered into a college frat party. I stood at the counter a good couple of minutes and they were too busy acting up to even acknowledge me. So, I walked it. As you see by other recent reviews, I'm not the only one whose had issues with prescriptions filled incorrectly. Combine that with the unprofessional unruly behivaior of uncontrolled 'children' employed there, there is NO WAY I'll ever go into this location or any other Pearle. I have done my eye exam and got glasses from the discount section. It still came out pricy. With prescription it was still not right. It was making my eyes dizzy. They sent it to lab to fix it which took 2-3 wks.. It was still not right. I had to go somewhere else and spend more money for eye exam. Dr. Jones is one of the best optometrists I've worked with in my adult memory, spending the time to work through practical options and find what works best for my needs. The support staff is also friendly and efficient when running through testing or on the backend with sales. I wouldn't even dare considering recommending this place to anyone for any type of service this was my first and last time at this location I came in with hopes of getting a new pair glasses. And as soon as I come in they're trying to force contacts down my throat And they're telling me that if I don't get contacts now that with my prescription they're gonna be so expensive that I have to get contacts now literally forced me to get contacts pretty much I end up getting contacts and finally pick out a pair of glasses they tell me they'll be ready in a week or two 3 weeks goes by and I don't hear anything from them. I called them to see the status of my glasses. They say they're ready yet never called me or gave me a heads up I go to pick them up and I completely can't see out of one of the lenses. The prescription was completely off I don't even understand how that's possible when I literally just did an eye exam with them. They tell me they'll fix the len and It'll take about another week or two A week goes by and I called to see if my glasses are ready They told me that they would be ready in a couple more days. I go down there to pick them up and once again, one of the lenses is flawed This entire experience has been a headache. How do you mess up a pair of glasses twice? This is literally your job. I ended up returning the contacts because I didn't even use them and I told them that I wanted to cancel the entire service and I'm gonna go with someone else to have my glasses properly made so that I can actually use them DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE... read more

Let me start by saying that the optometrist is amazing and most of the staff are amazing. It is the kind of place where you need to pay attention to get service because, at one point I was told to have a seat and someone would be with me and after 3 other people walked in after me and were helped immediately, I checked on when I might be helped and it turns out they forgot about me. With all of that being said, the reason for 2 stars is that I have been wearing glasses for 45 years. With insurance, the least expensive pair of glasses that I could get at this place ran me $349, that's with progressive lenses. I did not get "insurance" for the frames because in the 45 years of wearing glasses I have never had a pair break. The pair I got from Pearle vision broke in 42 days. They snapped as I was taking them off of my face, using both hands....it just snapped at a very narrow spot that held the lens. I contacted the office and because I did not get insurance, there is nothing they can or will do. I need glasses and the prescription in my old pair is no longer good for me. I had to go online and purchase glasses. It turns out I was able to get better quality glasses with progressive and photochromic lenses for $200 that includes a 365 day warranty. I do not recommend purchasing your glasses through Pearle Vision, however, I do recommend the optometrist at this location. read more

So happy to get my annual exam by the best in Vegas. Dr. Capulong-Jones, is always so sweet. She listens to all my issues that I have with my eyes. Having sensitive eyes suck, but she always suggest changing my brand of contacts if they keep causing me problems or suggesting new eye drops. Office is big and they have a large selection of eye wear. Staff is friendly and professional, overall I will always follow Dr. Jones wherever she goes. But I just found out, that she is the owner of this new location, so I know she's here to stay :) read more

Be careful if you go to Pearle Vision on Valle Verde and the 215. They try to uncharge you on vision exams. Eyeglass prices are ridiculous as well. The worst is I brought in a 1500.00 pair of glasses that were my favorite to change the lenses. They broke my glasses and basically said Oops sorry and offered me a small discount. Not a free pair. This has been a long over due review. This has been my my second chance in giving pearl vision . I decided to give this location a chance. Many months ago, I saw Dr. Francis Capulong-Jones. During this visit, Dr Jones raised my eye prescription to compensate due my reading sight. This is something that I never brought up to her. When she provided the lenses for me to try on, I notice a very huge difference and I even told her that. Dr. Jones told me to pull my cell phone away In order to read it (which I never had an issue before). She informed me that I would get used to the prescription, to give it time. During this visit Dr. Jones asked me what lenses did I wear. I told her the brands I wore. She told me that she don't know those brands and that they were not FDA approved. She then recommend me to Air Optix Colors. I purchased four boxes. For a few months, I notice that this prescription was not right for me. I gave them a few more months when I realized that not only was the Prescription wrong, but the contact lenses brand is not the right one for me. I was able to get an appointment and I saw Dr. Jones again and informed her that the Prescription she made for me was too powerful. Dr. Jones then modified and lowered it. I Also informed her that one of my contact lenses brand is actually FDA approved. She then proceed to state that not in the US but certified in another state or country. I then showed her that contact lenses brand was given a US FDA approval number. Dr. Jones then asked if I had brought my current contact lenses, which I did and provided the boxes to one of her office member. When she saw that they were color lenses, she informed me that since they were color they could not exchange them for me, instead give me clear lenses. She provided me a trial box and informed me that they have ordered me clear lenses and once they arrived they would call me to pick them up. A few days later, I got a called from the office and informed me that my lenses have arrived. When I asked what was the difference price point of the clear contact lenses to the color Lenses, they told me I wouldn't be charged. I informed her that I didn't asked how much I was going to get charged, I asked the price difference. They never provided me that Information. I did asked to speak to their office manager. I was informed that she was out for the next couple of days and she would call me at the end of the week. Aubrey called me one week after, and I never reached out to her. I decided to visit another location to get a second option due to having two different Perscriptions . They were able to modified the Prescription. During this visit I asked what was the difference of the price points of both lenses. I was told that it was $81 for clear lenses and $122 for color lenses. I was getting clear lenses and was not going to be given the refund price difference. Another location told me to speak to the district manager by the name of Wendy. At first, Wendy tried to informed me that one of my brand of lenses was not FDA approved. After I informed her that as any medical professional should do , be knowledgeable of their industry and research, she was able to confirmed that my brand of lenses were and are FDA approved. At the end, Wendy did not want to refund me the difference of the color lenses to the clear lenses the location wanted to give me. Instead she offered me a $50 refund due to my contact lenses test and the prescription (Wendy informed me that pearl vision Perscriptions are not valid outside of pearl vision locations, which made me decide no to have them as a eye provider). I told her that she can keep the clear lenses and the $50, and to please educate her doctors on products and brands available to their patients. After all this, I decided to avoid Dr. Jones and Pearl Vision in general. read more

Glasses in 30 minutes? Yes, Please! So I made an appointment online but soon got a call from the office to reschedule. They had many different times and dates available and we able to get me and my partner in sooner than available online. We went yesterday, the staff greeted us and gave us paperwork to fill out. The associates explained what to expect for the appointment and all associated fees. The exam was very simple and Dr. So made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. The manager Audrey helped us pick out frames and went over payment options. She also answered all our questions and was able to get one pair made in under 30 mins. My partners wasn't in stock but we were told when it would be in and appreciated all the communication. We felt really welcomed and taken care of. I made sure to make appointments for the kids before we left and already had my mother calling to make an appointment later that day. Highly recommend for eye wear or exam. read more

She was not able to look up my Insurance plan because she said my Account Was assigned to another office? She then proceeded to ask me if I made an appointment at a different location? I replied no... So she had me take a seat so she could try and contact the billing department... With all the mixed reviews, I was already Leary about this location... so I called in an hour before my appointment and spoke to arosie in the call center to go over the fees and copays ahead of time. And sure enough... Maria could not access my insurance information, but approaches me with a clip board and starts circling several fees and copays that she was anticipating...? So I asked her how was she quoting me fees and copays if she does not have access to my insurance coverage? So she replies: "That what she can see from before." So that did not make sense to me. So I mentioned to her that I had called in earlier that morning and spoke to Rosie. And she said my out of pocket fee should be $60. She replies that she is not sure why Rosie would quote me that... But its not correct... Never the less... I decided to not continue with the appointment with all the unprofessionalism. Would not recommend this office!!! I cant give a better review. After several visits the doctor seemed annoyed with me, because we had to try different lenses. I felt like I wasn't listened to, that I didn't give my lenses enough time, yet the contradiction of her telling me that if they dont work well in 5 minutes, then you need a change. When I said, I cant see street signs I'm told, wait a whole week. Sorry, but if I cant see street signs while I'm driving, do I want to wait a week?? Then the staff told me, make sure to wait a week! To this day I never went back for my final exam...I dont think anyone cared to do a follow up. I also dont think that almost 300 for an exam with "special" lenses is actually an appropriate price. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Called this past week and made an appointment as a return customer. Informed them not to use the insurance on file as that status has changed - lost my job due to COVID19. After speaking the the representative in detail, she told me that I would receive my exam for $89.00 - I booked the appointment. Arrived this afternoon for the appointment and was told I would owe $118.00...I was shocked because I took the time to make the appointment and spoke to a Pearl Vision representative again, in detail. The representative walked over to her manager to inform her of my concern, she returns to me and informs me that her manager is willing to honor the $89.00 but I will be getting a different type of exam, not the typical one that is more comprehensive. WOW! This is the way they treat returning patients...SHAMEFUL!! So I guess Pearle Vision is not struggling from what the rest our country and businesses are dealing with. Instead, they can afford to mislead and misquote return patients, and then in real time they dump additional hidden fees for services that you understood were to be included. I'm not playing that game, there are way to many competitors that would happily take my cash by showing consumer honesty and the value of a repeat customer. What a big waste of time!! Originally a great experience with the doctor, my glasses were wrong after having them redone a second time. The manager stated I needed to stop bringing them back in and insisted it was me. Perhaps the RX was off. Then said I was wearing them wrong. They sized me twice when I went in and then when I went back in. I left my glasses there demanding they fix them. I like Dr. So and my eye exam but not so much my eyeglasses purchase. There is no price tag on the frames. In the last 15 years I never had to pay out of pocket for my frames with the $150 allowance through my insurance. I picked the same brand today which never cost more than the allowance amount. I am very happy I found this place, it's just down the street from my house! I left my other eye exam place not long ago which was located on Pecos and Harmon. I came in for the first time for my annual eye exam (I've been having some issues with my vision for the past year or so). When I checked in I was given paperwork to fill out while waiting for my name to be called. Alexandria called my name and took me back for various eye exams. Next, Dr. Frances Capulong-Jones entered the room and asked me questions about my eyesight. After she took more tests, she said that there is a small issue with my right eye as it gets blurry easily and that glasses were a recommendation. She asked if I wanted to get eye drops today or wait another time...I preferred to wait another time because I drove myself, though I don't live far. Upon exiting the exam room, I was asked to choose from a variety of glasses in the lobby. They said it was ok to not choose today and that I could come back without an appointment and choose my glasses then. Very friendly staff and doctors. I highly recommend this place. read more

I was not gonna leave a review however I am compelled to do so as I am a small business owner to and understand the value and importance of customer service, my first negative experience came when one of the optometrists offered to trade services for my company product on his personal home which I guess he did not have the authority to make such a claim. So when I went back in and let them no about the deal that was made the optometrist made me out to look like a liar which I though was extremely unprofessional as he could have just said no in the first place. This was a couple months ago. Then the arm of my glasses fell out. Not broken just fell out so I went in just now and was told I would have to pay for replacement which is ridiculous as some Glue would surely hold where it came loose. They could have easily remedied this whole thing why risk losing a customer over 77$. Because it is not about individual customer satisfaction just purely volume. Pretty sad for such a large company. Arrived for my appointment 15 minutes early. Sat there for 15 minutes without being helped. When I was helped, I was asked for my medical insurance. I had already provided my vision insurance two weeks in advance when I set the appointment since when do you need medical insurance to see an optometrist? Staff is very unprofessional and dismissive left without seeing optometrist, make an appointment elsewhere, unless you like subpar service. read more

Hi, I'm new to Pearl Vision it is my first time to try it, I did glasses one for me and one for my wife Dec. last year, I didn't feel comfy with the glasses and my left eye was hurting, but I said maybe I just need to get used to it, plus I had my exams plus other workloads, until Late January when I couldn't stand the burning in my left eye anymore. I went back to the store where the receptionist told me it is already after 30 days and I need make a new Dr. reservation and ........ and.... And.... I'm writing this actually to thank another employee "Laura" sorry I don't know her last name, she stepped in to help, and when she did the check, something in the measures was wrong and it was why I have the burning in my left eye, not only she kept apologizing for the mistake, but she also ordered new lenses for me, and everything was free of charge. I wish I know her last name, I only know her first name "Laura", but she was really very helpful, very friendly that I literally forget all the anger, and I really left "Happy".
