    I've been coming to this eye doctor for 4 years or so. I had an eye appt coming up in July, so I call July 1st to reschedule a week or more ahead of the appt, knowing I would not be able to make it. I should note they had not bothered to call me with a reminder of the appt. But I keep track of all my appts months ahead in 2+ calendars. When I called, they were able to reschedule me for August 4th. When I arrive to my appointment today, they tell me they cancelled my appt because I didn't confirm when they called. I search my voicemail, and I have ONE call from July 19th saying they would cancel my appt if I don't call to confirm within 24 hrs. I have never heard of such a process. I make routine dental and primary doctor appts months ahead, and they call to remind me at least a week or a few days prior. They never threaten to cancel if I don't double triple confirm the appt I just made 3 weeks ahead. Why would I need to confirm an appt I just made 18 days ago? Or confirm an appt coming up 16 days ahead? And why wouldn't I receive an email or a second call? I would rather pay the $50 fee they also warn you about if you don't cancel within 24 hrs of your appt time. That's why there is a fee. I should be able to keep my appt and I should pay a fee if I don't cancel within an appropriate timeframe. The office shouldn't cancel an appt for me just because I didn't answer my phone on an arbitrary day far away from my actual appt, and too close to the day I called to make said appt. When I saw the 7/19 voicemail, I imagined it was that--- a reminder, not a threat of cancellation. It's a shame because the doctors I've seen in this office are great! But the appointment system at this office assumes I have time to chat on the phone every week to reassure them I'll be there 3 weeks ahead. When I arrived to check-in for my appointment, they immediately transferred me to the girl on the right side of the desk who seemed to be the one to handle the angry patients whose appts get canceled for no reason. I will not be returning.

    Talk about a great experience when getting your eye exam! The staff is very professional and well organized. I provided my insurance information, filled out my medical history online and was able to get my eyes throughly examined. They walk you through every step of the exam, why they are doing it and make sure you are comfortable. Just about everyone I have interacted have been personable and knowledgeable. They go over your options of eye exams and the cost. How much anything will be is upfront and on a menu. For example, getting your eyes displayed is cheaper than the eye graph thing, but you can't drive home yourself if you opt for that route. If you have a ride or can call for one, great. I opted for the non dropper dilating exam because I like to look at the fun farm picture and space ship looking game when they test your eyes. It's almost like a game, but they can find out so much about your eye health and even some underlying health issues (blood pressure , diabetes, etc.) just based off your eyes! I've been here for two years now and the first provider was a female (I think it was Dr.Lavine) who was fantastic. My eyes had a horrible reaction to lash extension glue and I had to get my eyes examined. The second doctor I had was a male and he was incredibly knowledgeable and patient with my changing eye health. Screen time has taken a toll on my eyes, so make sure your eye health is a priority. Get your eyes examined. Having to get glasses for the first time in my adult life, they made the experience lovely. Clarissa helped me the second time around and was very patient. I tried on about a dozen or more frames and finally found a pair I like and was actually very light. It was Charmant. A brand based out of Japan who specializes in Titanium frames and medical parts, which makes sense because people with metal allergies like myself won't have a reaction to titanium. The frames are super light and I added anti glare on them. I've had the Blu light blocking tint on before, but did not like the slight yellowing tone it gave, so I'm going to try it without this time. The frame options are on the higher end side, so be prepared for the cost to add up as you add the frames, add ons, tints, and material type. My experience has been so great though so I don't mind the cost.

    Picked up my new glasses & prescription sunglasses yesterday. I have been coming here about 5 years now. But only 3 years ago did I start having fun choosing my glasses, thanks to Liv (Olivia)! Love that as I get older, I'm investing in a variety of eyewear to make it more entertaining to need glasses! When I was younger, I dreaded shopping for glasses. I love how Liv at Optic Gallery makes shopping for glasses fun! Now I look forward to it every year. She helps me branch out of my comfort zone too, by trying different designs. This time purple, with a unique shape & my sunglasses have a tint that fades to pink, since I requested something where you can still see my eyes. Love them both!

    I love this office!! Dr Lavine she's so thorough and nice! She always takes her time and makes sure it's right prescription. The office staff are so fun and help you pick the best frames for your face.

Of course, it makes sense that they wouldn't do it. Just like I can't bring a Banana Republic blouse to Nordstrom for tailoring. They are appointment only and it's SUPER easy to use their online tool to make an appt. ANYWHOO.... Dr. Julie is the bomb dot com. This office is probably one of the best full-service Optometrist offices I've been to in a long time. She's so gentle and kind that my kids look forward to seeing her. We suspected that our 3yo might need glasses and Dr. Julie took a minute to assess her and validated our concerns. She didn't have to as my daughter wasn't scheduled. She just tagged along because she LOVES seeing Dr. Julie. One thing that's kept us coming back is that they never pressure us or mandate a plan. I'm due for new glasses and yes, I could get new frames. BUT, I have a giant head and it's hard to find a good fit. I got these frames a couple of years ago from this office. The poor guy went through the wringer trying to find the best fit. Before this pair, I wore my glasses for maybe a total of 2 weeks out of the year. Since this pair, I'm a good 50/50 because they're so comfortable. Angela could vibe that my eyes were wandering. She totally understood that I wanted to check out my options. She said she didn't want me to have any regrets (I do spend a lot of time thinking about what if). She too went through ALL the cabinets and drawers. She gave honest feedback on fit. There was zero pressure which made the process honest. In the past, I've definitely gone home with glasses that I hated and it was the worst. I ultimately went forward with just replacing my lenses. I love that both she and Dr. Julie mapped out the next steps with many options. I'm navigating this NEW stage of my life (bifocals, readers, different glasses for different things) and it's a little daunting. If one didn't work out, we had a backup plan. They were SO GENTLE with this transition (no one wants to be reminded they're getting older).
