Dr. Jones and staff are amazing with kids! After finding out my son needed to see an eye doctor and calling around I found Dr. Jones. She was the best and so friendly. He's at the toddler age and she was so patient and good with him. I left feeling so happy I found her to see my son. The staff was super helpful and accommodating as well to make my son feel comfortable being there. Dr. Jones is by far the best and after seeing her with my son today I'm switching my eye care to her as well. She answered all my questions took her time with my son and made sure I was good before leaving and moving on to the next patient. read more

I really wanted to give this place a 5 star but unfortunately that's not the case. The doctor was AMAZING!!! Staff on other hand not so much. I booked an appointment for myself and my husband on line. Let's start this off with we both have the same insurance. After receiving there multiple texts I completed my on line forms with allllll my insurance information. I show up to my appointment with my insurance card for both vision and medical incase there was any confusion, the front desk lady claimed she couldn't find my coverage and that I may need to call and once I stated then why did I do all the forms in advance for this happen? Insurance should've been verified upon arrival. They were suddenly able to verify my insurance after that my appointment went great! Purchased frames since my insurance only covers them every 2 years and I wanted a new pair. The next day my husband goes to his appointment with literally NO insurance information nothing and they go oh no you are good we verified everything already..... okay cool. He picks out his glasses everything is great. Fast forward a week later he gets a call his glasses are ready for pick up... hmmm weird my appointment was before his and I still have no call. I called the office to inquire and the lady goes " oh well you have VSP insurance and they are very particular with there labs " my reply was oh that's funny because my husband has the exact same insurance since we work for the same company and he got his today. Her response was oh Um I don't know let me look into this. We go to pick up his glasses and they have nothing to say. All I want to know is how someone with the same exact insurance as her spouse and the appointment before him is still waiting on her glasses but he has his. Makes no sense. I now regret spending almost 500 dollars on a new pair and wish I would have just got my prescription and paid for glasses else where. Or gone to a different place in general. It takes a lot for me to make a bad review as I work in marketing but I'm beyond upset and frustrated and no one seemed to care. read more

By far my best eye appointment I've ever been to. The optometrist is usually just a necessity for me being an eyeglass wearer for the last 27 years. I can't say I've had bad appointments but they're usually just bland appointments. This office is bright and clean and I can always appreciate the Aestetics of places like this because they aren't all like that lol Staff is friendly, and the doctor realllllly took her time which is always so appreciated. I love to switch up my glasses but am always indecisive on shape and they didn't make me feel rushed at the slightest. I was able to get a good deal( not a cheap deal but still a good one!) and although I spent more than I was planning I can't say I regret it. The in house lab makes things pretty awesome with the turn around time being so convenient given they have the lenses on hand and it's worth every penny. They have a good amount of frames to pick from but not a ton of variation to them. I dislike that there's no prices on the frames but I'm assuming it's because they are constantly running different promotions which I have mixed feelings about but business is business. I came here out of network, and was told by pearl visión that it's ok that they will cover like I was in network, now I came in for a second appt and now to see me they want more money which I already paid $187 , I know I was out of network and some would say you knew that coming in but they said they'll take care of me and now they blame it on my insurance FYI stay in your network and don't get ripped off here! First time here, I was having an issue with my eyes after I received my glasses online from one of the website and tried it on. It was burry. I then was freaking out and been thinking that my old prescription may not working for me anymore. I was looking for a deal and found them on Groupon that I could get my eyes exam with 150 dollars credits toward a basic complete pair of glasses for less that $50 that I paid for on Groupon. I suddenly made a phone call around 4:50 pm on Tuesday and asked if the have any available spot for me the next day and I got it at 11:15 am on Wednesday. I came in 10 mins before and filled out the info. First it was not really impressed coz I have to wait for almost an hour in a freezing room. Till I finally got to see the doctor. I didn't had her name but she was very nice and verified everything to me clearly. The part, that was making everything better with Jairo. He was took over us right after and showing me what would be the best options to buy my glasses. It was very nice of him to explained compare the price and finally, I ended up got 3 pairs of 1 basic glasses, 1 of name brand glasses with premium lenses and 1 of name brand sunglasses. I didn't mind to spend money here as long as Jairo has been taking care of us. I would recommended anyone who would like to get a good service and actually could enjoy a new pair of glasses here at Pearlevision on South Valley Verde. This is their brand new office and I'm the first customer that added their business to yelp for their 5 stars review. Thank you Jairo for good customer service. I love the staffs and Dr. Jones, I've been a patient with them since 2019. Each staff member are so welcoming, from when I first walked in, to getting checked in and during the rooming process. They were asking me questions and made me like I was a part of the team because of how nice they are with me. Dr. Jones is very informative and makes sure I get well taken care. She is always telling me what exactly is going on and would make sure I get the referral submitted for an eye specialist. I can't stress enough of how they are so informative with the situation I'm having. There's not a time that I don't have a bad experience with them. I work in the gaming industry and it is essential to my job to be able to tell the chip colors apart. I recently started a new job where the chip colors were a different shade from what I was used to and I was having difficulty seeing the difference in certain chips, which made my job extremely difficult. I went to Pearle Vision on Valle Verde and told them of my issue and the tech there, told me he could order some dye and make me a pair of color corrective lenses that could help me. He made the lenses and put them in the frames I chose and I couldn't be happier. The difference it made in my ability to do my job was amazing and they saved me a considerable amount of money because I looked into going to another place and they would've charged me $300 more for the same type of lenses. I would gladly recommend anyone to Pearle Vision. My entire experience from the receptionist to the doctor and especially the tech was amazing. This place is horrible! That Asian doctor knows exactly what she's doing, but the staff are so bad... they have no customer service. We waited for my sons contact lenses for 5 weeks and it finally arrived. Then we had to schedule a time for him to come in and do the training. When I called, they had no availability for the next 7 days. Then I said I'm picking up the contact lenses because I already paid for it and then she said I can't pick it up cause the training needs to be done. WT heck??? What kind of a BS is that??? Customer service is cool. The selection of glasses is pretty limited considering budget and style options. I am a new patient appointment was for 11:45.. came in at 11:14. STILL sitting here it's currently 12:46. Haven't send the doctor. I'm impatient. It's cold in here and this is ridiculous. *** edit.. been told by the lady we had to wait 10 min cause we're up next. This place was hands down the best optometrist and vision specialists I have visited. The staff were incredibly friendly and the eye doctor was super personable and thorough. I explained my vision concerns with my left eye and she took extra time examining and explaining to not only inform but make me feel better as well. They even took me outside to do a "real world" test. They were so friendly to both myself and three kids during our time there. I will make this place my preferred eye care facility for the future. The staff had me multitasking while I waited. I picked frames, found out about special offers and had my previous appointment history shortcomings addressed. This place was a fine tuned machine. They remembered me from the past visit years ago( Doctor ), they understood my concerns ( Laura ), and they made it possible for me to not have to dedicate another offday making sure I can see properly.
