So trusting as i am i bought the contacts from them. Im looking just now the box numbers dont match the rx numbers wth eagle eyecare who has the eagle eyes or it was a bait and switch fraud i think the latter Good thing its every two years never go there ever again! I went to Pearl Vision on a Monday morning because they had been very helpful in the past. And they were again! The ear piece broke and came off my glasses. Even though the man helping me tried to find a pair just like my broken glasses so we could use the same lenses, we could not. We did find frames almost the same, but slightly larger shape. They looked great. I had a prescription with me, which was helpful. He told me the new glasses would be ready the end of this week or early next week. I received a call on Thursday morning telling me my glasses were ready! I went right over, got a perfect fit, and was out the door in a few minutes. Everyone was very nice and helpful, especially the man who helped me. (I forget his name, but he sits at the desk on the left.) I went on May 28th to pick up my prescription glasses. It was about 6:45 pm (store closes at 7pm). The door was locked and the employee who was inside opened it and I told her I just wanted to pick up my glasses. She looked at the time and with an attitude, she said: ok, but fyi the latest time for pick-up is 6:30 pm. I answered: ok, I didn't know that. I don't understand why the store was already closed 15 minutes before closing time and I also find the employee attitude unreasonable because I just went to pick up an order that literally took her 10 seconds to pick up from the shelf and hand it to me. I respect that the latest time for pick up is 6:30 but she shouldn't assume that I know that information either. read more

Went in for glasses and contacts. Little did I know that there were two separate entities here at odd with each other. After I got fitted for glasses and contacts I was to return to pick them up. The two Pearle Vision people were sniping at the doctor that worked for the other side. I was told that the doctor only had appointments on Saturday and every other Friday. So I had to make two appointments. One for Wednesday which all i had to do was pick up the glasses, and one for Friday at 11:45 to fit the contacts. Geez. This was after going back and forth for 20 minutes about which days were open. Then they call me back and leave a message saying to just come in at 12:00 Friday. So..I arrive at 12:10. Ten minutes late. The door is locked for covid restrictions and I have to call. EVEN THOUGH THE TWO SEE ME STANDING RIGHT THERE THROUGH THE WINDOW. The phone call goes straight to voicemail and they don't call me back. I call again, same response. About 10 minutes later someone else in there notices me. She's nice and let's me in. The other one gets uppity saying I was very late it's 12:20 and your appointment was 11:45. Yes, that was until you changed it to 12:00 and then refused to acknowledge me for a solid 10 minutes while I was just standing right there. I had to fit the contacts in the bathroom and had problems because I hadn't had them in 20 years. The girl that was eventually helpful with the contacts wasn't a doctor and Dr. Patel was helpful only afterwards. They make it difficult to get an appointment for both because they obviously don't like the Dr that's only renting a room. Pretty sure I'll go somewhere else next time. read more

I went to Pearl vision on Dec 18th to get an eye exam for my daughter. Their independent optometrist, Dr Bee was COMPLETELY unprofessional. She slammed down her pen and he told her to get out. I approached his counter at which he raced up to me, in my face (spitting) and said "f**k you". He continued to shout loud profanities. He said "go somewhere else with your sh**ty insurance". He then said meet me at the Marlton Tavern at 7 and we'll settle this. I told him my daughter suffers from mental health issues and he replied "then get yourself another daughter". His name is Dr David Q Bee and operates out of Rio Grande NJ. Do NOT go to this Pearl Vision unless you like to be severely abused. read more

Checked the Website before going due to Covid. Arrived to find a sign stating that you needed an appointment to enter store. (Wish that had been on the website!). So as instructed I called the phone number posted on the door, and it rang and rang. I could see a blond woman playing on her phone, so I thought I dialed incorrectly. Hung up and called number again. The blonde looked up from her phone to motion to someone. A young gal came to the door and asked what I wanted. I explained no mention of appointments need on site, however, the sign on the door said they would accommodate if the store was able. The gal at the door said no appointments today but I could call for one and then slammed the door. Not a single person was in the store except black gal who answered and the blonde playing on her phone. Went elsewhere to buy a replacement pair of glasses. Never again. read more

Took forever to make appointments, not very friendly, very demanding, only a few people allowed in, need to make an appointment to pick up your glasses "because of COVID", I missed my first appointment to get my glasses because I had to work, they made me reschedule just to pick up my glasses. Than I was 15 minutes late because I got the time wrong, they didn't call to see if I was still coming, and when I called to let them know I was there they told me I had to wait another 10-20 minutes because they had eye exams going. When I was finally allowed in they rushed me out, I wasn't even in there for 5 minutes. I could've went in when I got there and left. And the lady that was helping me was up my butt the whole time. They just aren't a friendly staff. read more

I scheduled an appointment for a weeknight. Waited about 10-15 minutes just to be acknowledged. Dr. Bee checked my insurance and said it would be over $100 for contacts and glasses exam. Steep in my opinion. Exam over two hours with dilation. Doctor Bee seemed thorough but rushed. He gave me my prescriptions for both along with sample contacts to try. The next day i noticed the prescription differed from the boxes of contacts he gave me. Also, he labeled the left and the right incorrectly. I went in the next day and they gave me a new one but still, one more thing to do. When i tried to order contacts through another vendor, they stated the prescription was expired. Yeah, because Dr. Bee put the date of exam as the date of expiration. Now i'm waiting for the correct prescription so i can get my contacts. Too many errors in my opinion. Not professional, no attention to detail. I would not recommend this office and obviously will not be going back. Side note - I did hear Dr. Bee mention that this was a franchise. Not sure if that has any bearing on the running of the business but Pearl should be aware this man is hurting their name. read more

Went to Pearle Vision in Marlton NJ, Nov 2016 for new glasses and eye exam because i had Groupon...what a mistake...glasses still somehow ended up costing a fortune...and were done poorly at that. The opthomologist was ok...Fast forward to Feb 2017. I had an eye infection caused by upper respiratory/cold...I figured that I could call Pearle and see if opthomologist could see me. Yes, they said, come on in. Went there, the woman at desk asked the story, told her I had been sick12 days ago with a cold and my eye became infected. I heard her go back to the opthomologist and they were talking back and forth. The opthomologist came out (not same one I saw in November), I stood up and at that moment he said "stay where u are - u are sick and I don't want to get sick"....I said "Excuse me?".....He then proceeded to tell me how he won't work on anyone sick because last year he got sick from someone and ended up in hospital. I said, I'm not sick, I had cold almost 2 weeks ago...should not be contagious anymore...He said I may be right, but he's not taking any chances and I should find someone else or go to ER. I am still stunned - a doctor who refuses to see a patient because they're sick!!!???? And, not only that, he said many doctors are feeling the same way.....lol. I found another eye doctor in Medford - told everyone there the story, they thought it the most ridiculous thing they ever heard - even the doctor that did treat me couldn't believe it.
