I accompanied my husband a while back and was impressed with how professional and curious the staff was at pearl vision. Every since I was hospitalized a few months ago for meningitis I've been having problems with my vision. So I'm here today to get a check up and see what's going on. So far I've been asked if I'd like a cold water while I wait. That's pretty curious. There very prompt as well. I'll leave the next portion of my review till after I'm done with my exams and etc. So I found out some great information about what's going on with my eyes. And feel as though I'm a mini eye doctor now thanks to Dr. Momin. She is wonderful I felt comfortable and she listen to my concerns and was polite and courteous. I never thought I'd find myself writing a review related to eye care, but this Pearle Vision impressed me so much that I practically feel compelled to. I've gone for a lot of eye exams, and I've had to pick out a lot of glasses in my day. I've never witnessed nor received the level of customer service anywhere else that I received from Baikal at his store. On top of that, his selection of glasses is top notch - he has all the current trends and some of the best brands - RayBan, Polo, Tom Ford, Nike, etc. I was actually excited to get my glasses for once, and the process was very smooth from start to finish. Worst mistake I ever made coming here...I had a 10:00 am appointment and they were late opening up...No air conditioning on when I walked in...I had to fill out my medical history and insurance information on laminated paper with a black marker and the worst thing was they never told me in advance that they couldn't do a comprehensive eye exam...I have to make another appointment to go to another eye clinic to get the rest of my eye testing completed. read more

Great service, excellent selection of designer and budget frames but I'd recommend the Tom Ford line he carries. This is the only place I can buy my glasses from because they offer the best warranty, prices and deals on lenses, coating, and frames. Each time my glasses get 'bumped' by my rambunctious toddler, the owner is very amicable in readjusting my frames to prestine status. read more

*** Cavet emptor / Buyer beware and unhappy customer *** first let me state this was a two pair glasses purchase and I had no problem with my long distance pair. the issue i had was on the second pair for work using my PC, the son's owner told me to order these special enhancements THAT weren't progressive which i told him did not work for me in the past. But he sworn i would 'love them'. The 2nd pair came in late and i was not kept updated on this. When the arrived the special features he sold me did not work at all and gave me a head ache. BTW i had already paid the full price and the special feature cost was rolled into the purchase price. In the end the glasses had to be redone one more time and i had to get my eye doc involved including an extra trip to verify what this store was say. overall i would not come back or recommend this store and will end this honest review (my side) with some pros and cons for you to consider: Pros: * small store, small selection easy to get around * the small mens selection made it easy to find pairs * they do offer all kinds of extra features. * they do take Cigna insurance. CONS: Hot temp inside the store Small selection and anything good is going to be expensive (T ford/Rayban) Attitude from Son of father and son owned shop (maybe generational) Late delivery of PC glasses Up-sell of unwanted features and no refund or explanation of extra costs! Lack of communication, not returning calls by the son, the other gal 'mill' did call back was easier to deal with. overall: would not go back there has to be better solutions IMO! read more

Doctor was great! Up until I came back in asking for pupil distance, which I didn't know was not include with an eye exam, the guy condescendingly says "it's not free, I'm not trying to bust your balls but it's $20 or free when you buy a pair of glasses". First, no one asked if it was free. Second, if you were so worried about giving me the pupil distance because I'm going to purchase my lens and frame online, why not try and show me how your service is better and how it would benefit me to purchase there versus online. Also didn't suggest the fact that I could do it myself for free, but ignorance is bliss :) read more

I have only been here once and I will never go here again. I ordered 3 pairs of glasses and I would still be waiting for my clear frames if I didn't beg for them to be expedited. I just got off the phone with the optician, who was being extremely rude to me, asking if my sunglasses were going to be ready today. She said that the lenses were being shipped, from CALIFORNIA!!! I asked why California, and she says they believe they have the best lenses. That would be laughable if it wouldn't be so disgusting. read more

Loved the service provided by Geraldine. She went above and beyond suggesting me different frames. I literally tried so many... and she was reassuring I left with what I loved the most. Their cleaning and sanitizing procedures are to feel comfortable with. They have different trays where to put glasses that have been tried on. I really felt secure and happy coming to this Pearle Vision. I had been a customer for 9 years to the one on Kirby, but I have moved so now I will be gladly coming to this one. read more

Ok so I posted a complaint to your social media page & it was deleted. So let me again post my concerns on my page for all to see. Dr. Momin @ Momin Vision Care inside Pearle Vision provided horrible service to my girls and I. We had our appointment on August 13th. We visited this Pearle Vision office last year and was pleased so I returned. The optometrist is separately owned and Dr. Momin recently took over. Ok no problem let's keep our appointment because school starts soon. Filed out the normal paperwork and then she began evaluating the girls first. To make this short and sweet this doctor had the nerve to make a comment about my daughters acne. Yes her acne! She even mentioned " you didn't think I can tell you didn't wash your face". This is what she told my daughter. Then looked at me and said, Mom you really should get her to keep her face clean now. Ok no I did not act out I just kindly told her we have it under control and my daughter washes her face. Dr. Momin had pimples on her face too so why is she worried about my child's acne. This was not a dermatology appointment. I was livid at this point. The appointment continued and she dilated the girls eyes. As an adult these drops burn my eyes so it definitely hurt them at age 9 & 11. You think Dr. Momin cared, NO! She told the girls to be still or she will charge their mom more money because its expensive drops. Who tells a kid this? Sorry for the long post but I must continue. So after she embarrassed my daughter about her acne & rude, she proceeds to tell me my daughter does not need glasses/prescription. Now you mean to tell me my child whom has seen doctors in GA, FL, & TX over the past 5 years has perfect vision. So what the heck have I been lied to for 5 years or are Dr. Momin a horrible optometrist who are mean to their patients. You did not even measure their eyesight or whatever the medical term is called. You know when you ask is, #1 better or #2 or about the same? All you did was dilate their eyes and look at them. You had the nerve to ask me to return for a follow up, um no. Oh I forgot you attempted to charge me $70.00 too. Um no I don't think so. So let's fast forward to today. I called Dr. Momin office to request they not file a claim since I was not happy with her service. She said no because she provided the service and they have already filed the claim. I expressed I wanted a second opinion for my daughter only. They said no. Okie dokie now I must pay out of pocket for a new exam. Not happy again. Please take note I have never received my prescription or anyone's prescription but I was charged. Evidently my girls did not need glasses but she mentioned my oldest would have a very slight prescription. Whatever that meant. Had an appointment today for my daughter at Target Optical. Told my story and concerns to the doctor. She was an absolute blessing and so nice. My daughter is near-sided and will need to wear glasses daily. Really now I'm pissed this Dr. Momin gets paid for what. I'm out of $80 bucks I feel Dr. Momin needs to reimburse me. She also needs to apologize to my daughters for being disrespectful. So you removed my rating of your business as I gave you a "1" which was generous. You said I would get a letter in the mail but nothing yet. I will write everyone and post to all social media sites to never go to your office. You incorrectly diagnosed my daughter and it's not okay. You charged for a faulty service (smells fraudulently) and lost 3 potential new patients. Try to delete this! I want an apology, a refund, and everything else. I've had exceptionally great experiences both times I've been here. They have a Groupon available for a full set of prescription glasses which saved me over $200. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly, they advised me on the best and most affordable lenses, and I could not be happier with the fit and quality. I live fairly far away, this is nowhere near the closest Pearle Vision to my home, and yet I continue to bring my business back here. The service is that good. Keep it up guys! I've been to dozens of optometrists in my lifetime. I've been wearing contacts for over 50 yrs. This optician is the worst I've ever seen. Other than their optician office is only open ONE DAY PER WEEK, the optician is rude, overly-consumed with herself and makes everything more confusing than it has to be. She didn't follow through like she assured me she would. This office is very limited in what they can do. She mentioned twice about me going to the other side of town (Sugar Land/Missouri City) to get other tests. No. Not going to do that. It took me forever to get a prescription. Do yourself a favor and choose another optician. (This one really works at a Sugar Land office, not at this office.) They don't tell you about the office situation until you've already paid for the visit. read more

I would never come back to this place. It's such an inconvenience for me due to all the issues I had to go through just to get my prescriptions. DO NOT BUY. I visited Pearle Vision (PV), on Grand Parkway, on 03/05/2020. I purchased a new pair of prescription lenses and gave a check for $190 which has long since cleared. I called, after a week 03/13/20, and was informed that the lenses came in, were not made right, and were being remade. I called again on 03/19/20 and left a message with no response. This was all before the COVID-19 scare. I called several times and left messages. On 03/30/20, I went somewhere else and had no problems. I called that afternoon, left a message advising PV that I wanted a refund due to the lack of response and had gone elsewhere. The next day PV finally me and said my lenses would be in and I could come in that Friday to have the lenses cut. I again informed him that I no longer needed them and I wanted a full refund. He agreed to send me a check. He subsequently refused to do so until EYEMED, my eye plan, paid his claim. (Per EYEMED, he had already been paid his $60! I have since called him, left another message recently, and received no response. I have come to the conclusion that my money was stolen by PV. read more

Visited my mom today and she told me she had a prescription for glasses. We took her to JC Penney and after spending a little bit of time we were then informed that they didn't accept her Care Credit card. That's when I logged onto CC and found Pearle Vision. After calling to verify that they did indeed accept her CC and vision insurance we made the drive from South Rosenberg to Grand Parkway next to The Palladium. We immediately got in and the owners son was amazing in helping my mom out with her eye glass needs. He helped her from picking the right frames to the right lenses she needed. I am sooo thankful for finding this place (must be hidden hands, as I live in Cypress, and are never on that side of town)! I have been to so many different places, trying to find glasses I like, in my price range, that takes my insurance, that's run by people who know what they are doing, and who actually care. And that combination has been very, very hard to find! Every time I have gone to this Pearle Vision, from searching for glasses, to picking them up, to going in for a few tweek adjustments, I have dealt with the same professional, knowledgeable, caring, friendly gentleman who has helped me through the whole process. He took time to help me find the frames I wanted (saw elsewhere) in his online catalogue, his prices were very competitive and reasonable, and he never tried to pressure sell me.
