My boyfriend put me on to this spot. Its nothing fancy but its a nice spot to come to dinner with friends or family. We always get the seafood pasta and ask for vodka sauce instead (which they accommodate). They bring out a ton of extra parm cheese to spread as you please and the wait staff is always within reach. This place is solid. I've been here so many times it's hard to review. I've eaten just about everything on the menu and their classic American fare can't be missed. I especially love their steak tidbits; it's like a lot of steak and thick and juicy, unlike some places that give you thin pieces. Happy hour on the week nights gives you a buy back so it's always a great deal. Bartenders are friendly and attentive and the waitstaff is always on the ball. I came for the unlimited mimosas brunch and it was a pleasant experience. Server seated us and she was very nice. We had the eggs Benedict and crab cake royal. Food was ok next time I'll probably get something else. They give you a bread basket that had delicious warm coffee cake.The mimosas were actually good to me, a bit too much of ice. Party of 3. When we arrived, the place was busy but we were told it would be 25-30 minutes for a table. We wound up having to wait almost an hour and a half! Finally seated in a booth, the waiter comes to the table.........and doesn't say a word!! Not a name, not a "Hi. How are you?" I still have no idea what his name was! We ordered mild wings (I'd hate to see how hot either the medium or hot wings were!) as an appetizer for all of us. We all ordered burgers. I specifically requested no onions. What do I get on my plate? A HUGE slice of onion! Fortunately, the bacon cheese burger I ordered was pretty good otherwise, this would have easily been a 1-star review. read more

Our family like so many families wish things would get back to some sort of normalcy but for now we were beyond excited to support Pearsall's Station in Lynbrook for dinner tonight. Brian, Mike, & staff were on point from appetizers to dessert & found their curbside pickup to be very streamlined. Our kids were craving their mozzarella sticks & buffalo wings and they were not disappointed. The wings and sticks were hot & crispy and definitely brought smiles to their faces. For dinner we had juicy and tender Sliced Steak, Freedom Dip, & the Grilled Chicken McDonough sandwiches that were served with waffle & sweet potatoes fries, pickles, and a side salad. For dessert we shared Pearsall's delicious Raspberry Bomb, which is always a perfect way to end a meal. If American Fare is what your craving definitely phone in an order or use their easy online app. Pearsall's Station is always a place for comfort food and we definitely want to support them during this period in time. 3.5 stars. Came here for the first time for Sunday brunch. The place was packed and there was a decent line to wait for seating. We were told 20 minutes but only waited a little over 10. There were several meals on the brunch menu that appealed to me but I went with chicken and waffles. It was pretty good. There was actually a larger portion of the chicken than the waffles, good have used one more waffle wedge for balance. It came with a big, thick slab of bacon. I would have preferred regular bacon but some at the table were into it. The chicken had good flavor and the waffles were light with fresh fruit on top. The other egg dishes and french toast dishes were also well liked. Our table took advantage of the unlimited mimosas / bloody marys that are included with brunch. However, they were both served in quite large glasses so we only each had two. The drinks were also served promptly despite the crowd and the food within a reasonable amount of time. I cannot speak for the mimosas but the bloody marys were not watered down too much but had way too much pepper. I do not mind a zesty horseradish/pepper margarita but this was over the top. However, for the price I just drank it but probably next time would ask if it's possible to be less peppery but stye might be premade. Our waitress was great, super friendly and efficient. The restaurant was rather tight and loud so if I came back for brunch I might try a later time and see how that goes. read more

Terrible patron service! Arrogant and rude manager/owner I will never set foot in the restaurant again. My food came out cooked the exact opposite I had ordered it, I was specific in my request on how I wanted my food cooked, and that I would send it back if it came out well done. Wouldn't you know it comes out very well done. The wait staff was apologetic, when I asked for the plate to be taken away and removed from the bill, at this point I wasn't going to eat. Then I was approached by two other staff members, a manger I assume and then the "owner" proceeded to tell me in a nutshell that they couldn't have ever accommodated my request (due to how they cook omelets). Really? Then why did no one say so, if someone had simply said "we can't do it like you want", I'd have ordered a different dish. The real kicker was when a cake that a family member brought in for a birthday celebration became an issue, the "owner" proceeded to lecture the entire table about how they don't allow outside food (fair enough) and argued with the host of the meal about past practices where she had brought cakes in the past. In my view, the way he argued with us over it was HORRIBLE service, our table didn't need a lecture and when I said "ok, you won't have to worry" (because he had made it very clear what a big deal this was) he got pissy and said "out we'll wrap up the cake now" reached over, yanked the plate off the table and started to walk away. Though he did return the cake to the table after I explained how clear he made it that it was a no no in his place. Wouldn't it have been more polite and friendly to have just taken one person aside and explained "hey we don't usually allow this, I'll make an exception this time, please keep it in mind for the future" We were a table of 14 that they knew were repeat customers. Worst experience I've had at a dining establishment in I don't even recall how long. read more

Standard fare...burgers...wings... We went on a Friday night - everyone there seemed to live in a 5 block radius of the place - packed to the rafters with large middle-aged men sucking down pints. Some of the best burgers on the South Shore. HUGE, juicy, and a great set of toppings. Steak sandwich and Shepherd's pie are also delicious. Place gets crowded very fast and the layout of the restaurant is awkward so there may not be many places to stand where you aren't interrupting someone else's meal. The food is always great with huge portions, you will never leave hungry. I had the prime rib special last weekend and it was amazing. Don't confuse this lovely spot with a bar restaurant; it is a quality restaurant that happens to have a bar as well. Their quality ingredients make the difference and and attention to detail is evident (warm sourdough or pumpernickel to start with garlicky seeded crackers). Comfort foods are amazing, including sauerbraten and meatloaf. Seriously meaty and flavorful burgers as good as i have ever had. Mixed grill plate of chicken ribs and shrimp is a bargain with 2 days worth of dinners. Very reasonable and always delicious, staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend. I was very disappointed with this place.. I expected a lot more. I went with two other guests and during a slow time. The waitress was very unpleasant and seemed like she just wanted us to hurry up and leave. The apps (mozzarella sticks and sampler) were a huge disappointment. Not worth the price at all. This is probably a place for an older crowd, but then the entree I myself had a Cesar salad which one would think you can't mess up. The chicken was very plain and the salad very dry. Place is a great place to have a DECENT meal. Foods usually consistent, as well as drinks. Waitstaff is okay at best which I feel is one of the most important pieces to a restaurant. Took family there for Sunday brunch,my food couldn't have been any worse. Eggs over easy whole wheat toast,with hash,mimosa,coffee,bread muffin basket. Eggs- not over easy.toast- cold not toasted that much no butter taste.Corn beef hash?--- worst ever ever ever had! Homemade,leftover tasteless corn beef,red potatoes onions.....didn't expect a homemade hash that I was looking forward to.If your going to make hash homemade it better be good,this was horrible. Bagel in bread basket was hard as a rock ( thought it was fake) Had a piece of my sons turkey club-- cheap store brand turkey white bread tasted stale also. Like it was out all day. Atmosphere is great at Pearsalls Mimosa was good. coffee was cold which we all had to ask for.Usually wait staff asks if anybody like some coffee.And never did she refill or ask if we wanted more as brunch comes with unlimited mimosas bloody marys or juices. Paid 16.95plus tax and tip for what???? Place was busy but these other patrons either don't care what they are eating or don't like to complain like many others I know.
