Recently I was around Lynbrook and I and my cousin stopped in Pearsall's.The bar and restaurant were packed .There was a big Hockey game on the nice TV's.The Server and the Manager were very polite and helpful.I had a Potato Soup and a very done Burger and my cousin had Salmon.The food was terrific.The interior of the place is very clean and comfortable. There is curbside parking a behind the building. The family has been in this area very many years and the pub is a staple in the community.They must have a large local patrons of regulars.This was my first visit and if am near Lynbrook I will definitely come back. to Pearsall's Station. read more

I always love Pearsalls. The servers are always super nice. Always get the French onion soup and it's always great. Tonight I tried the potato skins and liked them! I just wish they had a little more bacon. We also ordered the crab bisque which tasted really great but had a lot of cartilage in it and was kind of hard to finish. The cartilage is pretty hard and unchewable and after a while it gets a little too much taking each piece out of your mouth. For dessert we ordered plain cheesecake and it was tasty and super creamy. I still want to give a good rating because I truly do love this place and have for years and other than the bisque, everything was great. we have been going to Pearsall's for years. Yesterday I brought a group of colleagues I used to work with for a late lunch . People came from NJ, eastern Long Island and other places in Nassau County. This is not the first time we have met here but the first time I am adding a yelp review. We were greeted by the owner Brian. One of our group was traveling and had a suitcase with him. They stored his suitcase in a locked office while he was there and got it out when he was ready to leave. One of the waiters prepared a batch of pico to be shared at the table. It is not one the menu and he makes it from scratch- it was delicious. Our late lunch meeting was great, the service was the best and the food was outstanding with large portions AS ALWAYS. Great restaurant and bar/pub. We were greeted as soon as we entered. Service was excellent! I love the look of the booths and the decorations The booths were spacious. Even though they did not have the drink I wanted, the waiter made a suggestion for something similar. The dinner came with a basket of bread. Pearsall's gave very generous portions. Sunday brunch: excellent! If these freshly made dishes are indicative of the overall menu then this place is a winner. Inside- definitely looks and feels like a pub, with a sports bar accent in that there are lots of strategically placed screens plus NFL Sunday ticket. It works well. If you want to watch a game you'll be pleased; if not, there's plenty of seating options where the screens are not in your face. Lots of booths and cozy nooks. Brick and dark wood. I liked the vibe. Immediately following the arrival of our first round of beverage, server brought a basket of amazing baked goods including a bagel, mini chocolate chip muffins, pound cake and to-kill-for coffee cake that was just melt in your mouth bliss. We controlled ourselves pretty well but you can have more if you polish it off. A good variety of brunch items at three price levels. Mine was the smoked salmon avocado toast Benedict. Look at the picture; and it tasted as great as it looks. Richard had the grilled chicken salad-freshly cut ingredients and plenty of moist & tender meat. They were happy to substitute bacon strips for the crumbled bacon on request. I agree the bottomless cocktails were light on the pours, but hey! $18 for my delicious meal plus the pastries plus coffee plus as many Bloodies as I could handle? My husband could see the drink being poured and he said it was a reasonable measure; and although I was not tasting the vodka at first, by the middle of round two I was feeling fine. It was busy and all the waitstaff were bustling around from end to end. While we were not formally checked on, there was always someone within sight or passing by that you signal easily if you wanted something. So figured I give this a chance as I previously read their French onion soup was to die for. I'm giving them benefit of the doubt because it's a Tuesday. First impression, decor is cute, looks like a train station eating cart, but when you walk in there is no greeting, or instructions on where to sit, wait to be seated or sit yourself. You walk in right to the bar and not a single hello or welcome. I almost walked out just because of that. However I stayed. We sat down, got our own menus from a neighboring table, but once seated a very nice Spanish gentlemen saw us and came right away to take our order. I tried the French onion and my husband tried the Jr prime rib that had fried onion rings on top, with vegetables of the day (cooked perfectly) and sweet potato fries. The steak was cooked well, perfect temperature but not even seasoned with salt or pepper, and yes it's not a steak house, but salt and pepper are staples. It was edible, was it the best, no was it the worst , no! Everything does come out pipping hot, which is definitely to my liking. The French onion was okay, nothing special. I will say a lot of the food that was being brought to other patrons like bar food, looked really good, but note to self if I am to return, not to go for the steak or soup. read more

This is our go-to neighborhood restaurant and we've never had a bad meal. It's got your typical pub feel and noise level with TV's mounted in each corner but the food is a step above most pub fare. We always get Jesse's nachos for an appetizer, highly recommend. We've tried everything from their steaks, burgers, shepherds pie, sandwiches. I can honestly say we've never been disappointed. My personal favorite are their Berkshire pork chops and their French onion soup, although last night, I had the potato-leek soup and it was fantastic. Found this grill off of the street while doing an AirBNB in the area. It's a really fine example of a local neighborhood bar and grill where "everyone knows your name,", (if you happen to live in the area), and friendly and welcoming to newcomers. The kind of place you don't want to say too many good things about because it may become hard to get an open seat or table! Fabulous staff! Food was great - had the fish special for dinner, my friend had the chicken francaise. Both were memorable. The cook has a good handle on sauces. Cheesecake for dessert - both also wonderful. It's very homey here. From staff to patrons everyone is friendly, the vibe is easy going. Reminds me of evenings at a pub....in Ladbroke Grove. I've only ever been here on Sunday evenings and each time a wonderful time is had. I usually sit at the bar and the bartenders are always on point. They are attentive without being overbearing. Cool without seeming to try hard. Oh and mature. Very mature and knowledgeable. The food I've tried....calamari, chicken wings, shrimp, veg, rib bits and burgers were very tasty and filling. It's good bar food if you get my drift. You dont? Well it's not the greatest food I've ever had, but if you're out for a few pints with your girly or boy then you'll actually enjoy prepping your stomach with the very good and delish wholesome meals they serve here. Nicely presented too. Pearsall's can appear packed as you enter but there's usually room for a few more. It appears small but has quite a bit of booths. It's a nice spot to bring the entire family. Another place found by pure luck, actually my daughter found it. Very happy she did. I asked for a medium rare burger and it was nice and drippy, perfect. Waffle fries were seasoned just right and my daughter's Mac and cheese was made with shells which is my personal favourite. The outer part was cooked just enough to be sooo crispy, which is also perfect But my favourite part was the staff, bartender was a good conversationalist with everyone, the waiter was super attentii and the guy who sat us who in guessing was the manager/owner, kept checking to see if everything was good, which i personally like. I haven't been to this location since it switched over from BK Sweeney's to Pearsall's. Same kind of vibe. Nothing has been really drawing me there but since it's been on my list, I decided to finally give it a shot for brunch this past Sunday. We parked at 11:00AM, not realizing the restaurant did not open until 11:30AM. At that time, we hopped inside. Their brunch options are separated into 3 "tiers" based on price.-$15.95, $16.95, and $17.95. Every ascending level had more enticing options than the previous. The lowest level had the basics-eggs, French toast, etc. The second level had omelets, some seafood, and other specials. The highest level had the expensive meats-steak and crab. Any entrée includes an assorted bread basket (which had corn muffins, bagels, and cakes), juice, coffee, and alcoholic beverages (mimosa, Bloody Mary). The Breakfast Pizza was calling my name. I ordered a Bloody Mary while we were waiting. While drinks are unlimited during your meal, there was barely any alcohol. Sometimes it's better not to even offer unlimited "drinks" if there is no intention of making a real, strong drink. Due to the poor quality of the drink, I only ended up having one. My Breakfast Pizza, on the other hand, was delicious. It had: scrambled eggs. chorizo sausage, onion, peppers, Monterey Jack & cheddar cheese served with skillet potatoes. The flatbread was very crispy. The portion was huge, easily split between 3 people. There is really nothing original about Pearsall's (for brunch, at least) but it's a decent option for the Lynbrook area. read more

Pearsall's Station has the BEST brunch around! The drinks are bottomless, the food is amazing, and the prices are great! Our waitress, Melanie, was kind, very attentive, and attune to the menu. I had the Chicken and Waffles, which was delicious; the chicken was perfectly crispy and moist and the waffles and syrup complimented it perfectly. We also got a side of breakfast sausage, which was tasty as well. The owner, Brian, came around to our table to see how everything was, which we appreciated; the whole atmosphere was inviting and warm. We will definitely be back! read more

We had a large group (7 people) and no complaints. Large menu. Calamari appetizer was very good not over cooked and not too many tentacles. Cesar salad and side salad were as expected. I had the fish and chips which was good. My sister enjoyed her chicken pot pie. Burger was good. Our Picky eater liked his shrimp Po boy, not too spicy. The sliced steak sandwich (which is their specialty) was not sliced very thin so it was a little hard to chew (one with cheese and one without). Chicken parmigiana was a large portion but a little thick. Get there early as it isn't a huge restaurant, a large bar in front and back room with multiple tables a little loud with people waiting for tables. The servers are friendly and you can make some easy substitutions. They have a small parking lot in the back and metered parking in front . Hubby and I were headed home after his Great Aunt's interment and decided to grab something to eat in the area. As per usual, Yelp came to the rescue. We looked up places nearby and Pearsall's had some good reviews, so we decided to give them a try. We were seated immediately upon arrival and the server came to the table shortly after. I really wanted brunch but didn't think to call ahead to confirm that they offered brunch because it seems that, out here, they mainly serve brunch on Sundays. I was a little bummed to only have been given a larger lunch menu and a smaller lunch specials menu but then I noticed in the larger menu, that they offered a sampling menu of their brunch items with pricing listed, as well as a description under the sample menu title that says patrons are allowed brunch drinks while they dine. When I inquired about what was clearly printed in the menu, I was told that it did not apply and not all the entrees were available and as for the drinks, they were a la carte. A little disappointing, to say the least. We made the best of the situation and ordered. Hubby had the Hot Open-Faced Roast Beef and I had Steak and Eggs. Both entrees came with Steak fries. We had a couple screwdrivers and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The food was really good. During our meal, Santa came by with some of his elves (I'm dead serious) and he dropped my our table and gave us a couple candy canes. It was a good time on an otherwise somber afternoon. We were visiting family in Lynbrook and decided to go out to dinner. It was 8:00pm on a Sunday and it was a last minute decision so we weren't sure what to expect....how late they would be serving food, would we be rushed? When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find that the kitchen would still be open a few more hours and the place was still packed! We sat at the bar and waited for a booth which only took about 15 minutes to get. Once we were seated our server Kaitlyn greeted us and we ordered buffalo wings and chicken pot stickers appetizers. . The wings really had to be some of the best wings ever. They were spicy and crispy just like we asked and the flavor was just awesome. The chicken pot stickers were also so delicious! Once we decided on entrees we were greeted by another server Matt who asked if we needed anything else while we were waiting. He was so nice and friendly and spoke to us for a while and then got us our drinks. It seems like the servers all work together there to help each other out so that everyone gets what they need and no one is waiting long for anything. My husband ordered the skirt steak and I ordered the Teriyaki chicken and vegetables. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. My Teriyaki chicken dish had a little too much Teriyaki on it and when Kaitlyn came back I let her know. I wasn't going to send it back but Kaitlyn wanted me to be happy so she took it and had them make me a new dish which was perfect. Horrible place. Don't go to this place, unless you wanna be harassed by aggressive drunks and then told to leave by the manager (without even doing anything wrong). Was gonna grab a few bites and drinks one Sunday afternoon while waiting a half hour to take the next train from the nearby Lynbrook station to a job I was doing that day. My phone was dead, and I asked the manager if I can use his charger. He let me use it, but after maybe 2 minutes of charging my phone, looking at the menu, and minding my own business, a couple of drunk people started harassing me. I couldn't tell what they were saying, and I didn't answer because they were obviously very drunk. They did this for about 5 to 10 minutes straight without me responding, and then they started getting really hostile and threatening me. Without saying a word to them, I politely asked the manager behind the counter to tell them to stop harassing me. The manager then comes over to me, walks me to the back exit, and says "they're drunk, you don't wanna deal with them. It's best you leave." Instead of doing the right thing and telling his drunk patrons to stop acting aggressive, go home, or call the police on them, he walks me out the back exit and tells me to leave. This place needs to loose their liquor license ASAP!! I couldn't a police report at the moment, because was still dead, I was in an urgent rush to get to work on time (yes, on a Sunday afternoon), and by the time I gotc5o work, I had too many important things to deal with. 1 would like to be clear that my two rating is not based on the quality of the food or the service, but about our experience there. Our server was very good, but a bit too attentive. The food we ate was very good. We had been here many many times before we moved out of town. The two other couples we met have been here many many times and live and work locally. The manager came up to my husband and asked him to put on a T-shirt she brought with her saying that the owner did not allow tank tops. She explained that it is a family restaurant. My husband took it in stride and put on the T-shirt but when we left, he said that was so uncalled for. He had on a Harley Davidson sleeveless shirt that was not a tank top. The shirt had an American flag on the back. My husband has two tattoos, one a Celtic cross, The other a law enforcement symbol as he was a police sergeant in New York City for over 20 years. The thing that upset him the most was there was a woman in the booth next to us in a spaghetti strap, low cut shirt which was much less family friendly than my husbands sleeveless shirt. Double standard, absolutely. Why was it OK to approach my husband and not this woman. This was extremely upsetting the more we thought about it. We travel back-and-forth quite often from South Carolina and are always meeting family and friends. Needless to say we will not be returning to Pearsall's. read more

Crappy parking unless your lucky. The lots too small for the restaurant and businesses around it. Like the decor but bring a jacket. It can be chilly inside. And be careful sometimes it smells sour outside the back entrance. So based on previous experience I'm giving this a three. Tonight was a four for sure because my server was wonderful. Ann was fabulous and you should ask for her if you come in. Every time my glass was empty she was quick to refill it. This is a tremendous turn from the past when people seemed to forget me. My crab bisque soup was delicious as always. And I enjoyed my chicken penne pasta. But I can't give this place more stars because I know I'm not guaranteed this service in the future. And sadly the two things I ordered are like the only things here I enjoy. My parents say here's the best chicken pot pie around but ew. I hate chicken pot pie.
