If you have time, start on the left as you enter the store and browse up and down isles until you have gone through the entire store, finding one thing after another of things you think you need. Haha, so true, right? And going through check out is even more cute stuff! Today on a hot day in July, they have already put out Halloween decorations. Nope, I'm not ready for that just yet. I do have to say that I did find some better deals at Michael's. So be sure to keep all options open when shopping for home decor and essentials.

You were happy-go-lucky with your regular shopper who was in front of me, but when I asked you a simple question as to why I had to pay more for something I was returning (and thought it was an even exchange); it was like I was asking you to recite the Declaration of Independence. You huffed and puffed, rolled your eyes, and looked at me like I had asked you the most difficult question in your life.... It was a simple answer...the taxes were different from where I purchased the item then to where I was returning it to your store. Sorry if you were having a bad day...so was I...but I still showed up to my job, with a smile on my face and didn't let anyone know what I was going through....I suggest you take the day off or take a breather should that happen again....you didn't do your store any favors by having me write this review....

I took advantage of their 55% off sale on Cadbury chocolate products and bought some snacks. I purchased a candle & sparkling water from Italy. I'm astonished they have such a variety of foodstuffs from around the world. It was fun to pore over all the displays. They have a nice display of furniture but very pricey. It was fun shopping here except I found on my receipt I was charged for an extra item and was not given the 55% off sale on a Cadbury product, which was clearly marked. I highly recommend you spot check your receipt carefully before leaving the store. I'm toying with the idea of returning to bring this up to them. What an inconvenience!

The Bridgewater Candle Company helps feed children around the world. This shop also carries the Farm House Fresh (FHF) skincare line. I love their sumptuous lotions! The interior is festively decorated for Christmas and chock full of a variety of unique gifts like jewelry and items for children. It is a little pricey but not over the top. I spoke with Kelly, who was working at the counter. She was so friendly, welcoming, and sweet and we chatted for a bit. She explained that they also have classes for crafts like jewelry making & candle making. It's something I'm interested in exploring further. She let me know that Angie owned the shop and there were challenges when the pandemic hit. I'm so heartbroken that so many small businesses were adversely impacted. I love supporting small businesses. Like I told Kelly small businesses are the backbone of the American economy. They have a prayer request wall. I submitted a request along with the myriad of requests already hanging. So much prayer needed in these times. I thought that is so cool & gracious on the shop owner's part. What a blessing! You can tell that children find the shop magical! They were awestruck by many of the items on display. Hearing their squeals of delight brought joy to my ears & warmth to my heart. Linda was a great sales person, wasn't hovering showed us what we asked for and let us wander around. We found her when we were ready. Linda made the sales process easy and quick. We opted in for the extended warranty and Linda made sure to let us know what and wasn't included. Deducted one star for the delivery. Although they arrived in the time window they were not gentle with the couch a corner of it was dragging as they pulled it up the driveway. Thankfully it was encased in cardboard. I ordered a lot of my furniture from them for a delivery and the day of my delivery, they cancelled the entire delivery because they lost the hardware to put together most of my furniture. They offered no help and even told me to refund and buy my furniture somewhere else. I was pretty surprised. Oh they even said they had to cancel my whole order because the delivery truck was too full to fit the rest of the furniture they could've delivered. So basically they just decided I didn't need to get my furniture today. My husband and I took off work and made so many arrangements to make sure we were home for this delivery. This delivery we scheduled weeks ago. I called Harrison, the sales guy who sold me all this furniture (which we saved up for) and he told me, "Sorry it's my day off, please call the store." LOL Yeah. Never again Mor. Yall don't really care about your customers. *** UPDATE*** They finally delivered it but GUESS WHATT. They delivered the WRONG couch LOL. I just purchased this adorable swivel chair for $85 including tax, from this store a few days ago…read more I own an AirBnB STR house in Temecula Wine Country, and wish I knew about this store before, when I was furnishing it, 3 years ago. A few days ago, they had several mid-century style pieces of furniture that were new. Seems like most of the furniture are manufacturer closeouts, or dent and scratches, This Habitat ReStore amazes me, because it is in a nice modern industrial building, which I have never seen Habitat occupy. The others I have been to , are in the oldest most run down buildings in low rent areas. However, as nice as this building is, you look way up at the ceiling, there is no AC or other cooling system. It was over 100 degrees when I bought this chair, outside temp. They leave the front door open for the breeze but you feel all the hot air, that is hotter than the temp inside the building. The employee at the cash register, near the open door where all the hot air was coming in, said "Yep, no AC". But if you didn't have air circulating, even hot air, it would be a greater hotter oven. They have a separate room, where they sell small stuff, not even related to building or home stuff, like bike helmets. The thing about this store, the things they sell here are newer, and not used and sometimes broken and chipped, like the other Habitat ReStores have. The donations come from manufacturers or commercial businesses rather than individual donors that are remodeling their homes, or got a new piece.
