This is my go-to taco/Mexican place since it's convenient and dog friendly. They have great size back patio and we always take our doggos there. Their Nachos are really good, but tacos are okay. I had a taco platter and I ordered carne asada and shrimp tacos. The beef inside of the taco were pretty large which is great, but they were little tough. Also they put their sour cream sauce on their tacos, so let them know if you don't want it on there. The taco platter comes with rice and beans, and I love them! Unless you want a quick and relatively cheap food stay away from this place. We came here to watch a UW game, our priority was the tv and they have a big screen. However, neither the food nor the drinks were good. We got the taco platter and the Mihoacan platter. Probably the worst tacos I had. Me and my boyfriend both got the San Diego burrito and it was overall pretty average. The burrito wasn't as flavorful as I hoped and it was pretty small for the price. I'm going to make this succinct. Way overpriced for the food that we got. We had the chicken tacos that barely had any meat in it, a taco salad that would've been better at taco time (and cheaper!), in a patio filled with really dirty tables. I decided to forgo the salsa bar after one look. It was an ecoli outbreak waiting to happen (attached photo). I live 3 minutes from here and had higher hopes. Pretty decent Mexican food with an interesting setup! They have pretty great happy hour prices--I got a loaded up pork quesadilla with a short margarita for ~12, which is a good deal for Seattle. Service is friendly and quick, and I can see the fireplaces outside being a nice place to hang out when it's not freezing out anymore. read more

Oh, Pecado. I've been to this location a number of times as I work in the area. Woefully overpriced for the quality/authenticity, though the happy hour prices are good. I remember my margarita being overly sweet. As for the food, the only thing I ever really order is the nachos because they're a large portion and cheap on the happy hour menu. The last time I had their pork tacos they were pretty good, but I can get an amazing and authentic taco for 1/2 the price elsewhere. While I'm not against paying more for some innovative or upscale Mexican, this place wasn't giving me anything special. It's an okay spot to have an after work beer and happy hour bite, and I do like the ambiance, but it's definitely not a staple of mine. read more

My co-workers and I frequent their Fremont location almost weekly so we had to come check out the Eastlake space and I am happy to report it was a breath of fresh air! Love the set up and the food is just as consistent as their other location on terms of quality - it seems cleaner too. The salsa bar is a plus - we generally order a bowl of endless chips and guac to share and are huge fans of the chicken chop chop salad. Other favorites include the burrito bowl and enchiladas. I like the casualness of this place yet still having a good ambiance to want to hang out with TVs and booths. The staff is always so friendly too! read more

Yikes...not good. Far from what I was expecting! Service was fine, but the food needs revamping. I live down the street and really wanted this place to be a gem for the Eastlake neighborhood. It's new and still has kinks to iron out. The food wasn't just bad, it was horrible. The Carnitas Tacos were ok but the chicken tasted like body odor. Too much Cumin. I ordered a bowl of burrito expecting something comparable to the rest of the burrito bowls out there. 9 bucks for a few pieces of chicken, mostly rice, lukewarm beans, some cheese and barely any flavor.... Would have gotten a lot more at somewhere like chipotle, and honestly better quality. My second qualm with this place- overpriced chips and salsa. We all know this literally costs restaurants cents, yet somehow we justify buying it again and again. Almost 6 dollars for a plate of generic chips with two small cups for salsa (guac is an extra dollar). We were politely asked to bus our own tables- NICE. Also was told to remind the bartender that I ordered a margarita, and when I did so she gave me a judgmental look of suspicion. Always nice to be treated like you're a bandit. read more

Underwhelming. While I'm thrilled that eyesore of a vacant building is now a real business, I was disappointed by the actual experience of being there last night. And I was reminded why I've only been to the Fremont location once. The margarita, which I drank through a straw, was almost undrinkable it was so salty; music was just a little too loud; and the food a little too cold and a little too tasteless. Also, I wasn't sure where to park given the spaces in the lot south of PB are marked "15 Minutes". One of the best non-taqueria Mexican food in Seattle! Food is delicious and the quality is excellent. Lots of items to choose from. The meats are delicious. There are also lots of veggie options. Practically all the menu items can be turned vegetarian. We got the taco plate with carne asada, cod, and carnitas. Very good tacos! The food here is pretty terrible, the worst "Mexican" food I've had in quite a while. Everything is super obviously microwaved. The beans were 100% straight out of a can. It took 2 seconds for them to bring the food out, so it's obviously not made fresh in any way. My food wasn't hot when I got it and the cheese hadn't really melted either. The rice is just super weird, I've never tasted anything like it and it's not even close to Mexican rice. Now this place! I was strong armed into going to the Mexico Cantina (YUCK!) and needed some Mexican to redeem it. A friend of mine who is a local said this place was seriously good and a great cheap eats! I ordered the taquitos (the chicken one and the potato ones), with the guac and pico and crema...and they were SOOOOOOOOO good. We also had the layer dip as an appetizer and also SOOOO good. You can tell that someone here understands quality southwest food and also is discernable about the freshness of ingredients. The chicken nachos are the best I've had in Seattle so far and the happy hour price was about $6. When going to their salsa bar I would highly recommend the salsa verde- delicious! It's ok. We usually go in for late happy hour during the week. The staff has typically closed half the place down by 9:30-10pm. It's open til 11:00. The HH menu is super affordable and pretty tasty. The fish tacos are good and the nachos are pretty great. This outweighs the lackluster employees who obviously can't wait to leave. Overall I have to agree with the other yelpers about the food. It needs more flavor!! My fiancé had the carnitas enchiladas with the 3 cheese sauce which was really good. I had the mole chicken and it was aweful! Even the waiter told me I would need to salt it. The guacamole was really good though! At least they have that dialed in. The margaritas need some work. They were pretty tart. Overall I would give this new (very new) place another try while they get things figured out. However, for what we paid for dinner they should bus our tables for us. We aren't at Panera. read more
