Excellent food and staff. Had to wait for the food but that's what made to order is all about. Highly recommend. My daughter built her pancakes, exactly the way she wanted them. They have nice booths and tables along with glass.

A great brunch spot with some of the best hash browns I've had! Everything is super buttery. This spot gets pretty busy so I would recommend making a reservation beforehand. The interior definitely has diner vibes with lots of fun colors.

Food was good, service was quick, cool diner space, lots of menu options. Slightly pricy for what the food is, but it's in a nice location so makes sense. Would want to come back to try their drinks from espresso station and try their arcade table.

We sat at the counter and saw all the food coming out. Everything looked absolutely delicious. Friendly staff

Filling. This is their new location further along Denny in Capitol Hill. Nice place great waitstaff attentive and knowledgeable. My favorite was the mushroom gravy which is a rare find. Especially for a vegetarian like myself. All very tasty, biscuits with crisp edges and a flaky inside. Eggs were good and hash browns nice and crispy. Another breakfast gem. Give it a go.

First time trying their new location, but not first time here. We loved Glo's and it's only gotten better since the move. We both got the specials and they were able to accommodate my cow dairy allergy. Everything was super delicious and the new space is clean and spacious but still feels cozy and retro diner-y. 100% our go to and we will be back. The only way they could possibly improve is if they added a patio so you could eat outside and bring your dog. They pretty much always have a long waitlist though so come with that in mind!

I give 3.5 stars-- there's a wait time almost every-time, they're super busy! 30-45 minute wait. The cafe is pretty small, not much waiting seat areas, so you'll have to take a walk or sit outside. My husband and I came on a Sunday after a lovely stroll through the farmers market. Order: Salmon Benedict with hash browns: Super delicious, the hash browns were my favorite. Crispy, generous portion, tasteful just a bit overly salted. The Benedict was difficult to cut through but it was still so super filling and good :) Azzy Special: Veggies and Hash. Great flavors, nicely chard. The pile of veggies soaked up the hash brown. If you like crispy hash I don't suggest this plate unless you ask to put the veggies to the side. Coffee was good! I love how there's a designated area to order your coffee if you want pick up.

Wow, this is one of our favorite breakfasts we ever had! This place reminded me of the suburban diners I grew up with but now placed in Capitol Hill. The menu already looked so great online, and then we were pleasantly surprised to see a Specials menu along with Secret Aardvark Hot Sauce as part of the standard sauces on our table when we were seated. We ended up getting the Pesto Omelet special item and the Eggs Benedict, and both were so delicious and huge. I get weary sometimes when breakfast places serve large portions because sometimes it is at the sacrifice of the quality, but that was not an issue at all here at all--in fact, the vegetables in my omelet, particularly the tomatoes, were some of the most flavorful I've ever had in an omelet. The coffee drinks here are also great--I really enjoyed my cortado during breakfast. The staff were also so very kind throughout, and the dining room felt quite spacious and not too crammed. The outdoor seating looked great as well. Definitely come check out Glo's if you're in Seattle!

I remember I tried to visit Glo's at their original location, but the wait was over an hour. My friend and I were too hungry to wait that long, so we went elsewhere. However, I've heard many good things about Glo's over the years, but never got the chance to actual see so for myself until recently. My friend, who was visiting from Florida, and I decided to grab breakfast at Glo's to catch up! We planned to meet between 9:30AM-10AM. I got there first and it wasn't busy, so I didn't go in to ask for a table for two yet. As it got closer to 10AM, multiple groups of people appeared. I quickly went in to ask for a table for two and luckily we were able to get a table as soon as I asked. I ordered the French Toast ($19) and added scrambled eggs with two slices of bacon ($6). It was a filling breakfast that was both sweet and savory. Truly the best of both worlds. I really enjoyed the texture of the French Toast.

Great place for breakfast and brunch. This was close to our airbnb and I was really craving Benny eggs and wanted to get my fill. It was a Saturday so we knew everywhere we went it was going to be busy but I didn't expect this place to be that popular but it was haha. We arrived before 10am I think and it was a 45min to 1 hour wait and there were at least 12 people ahead of me. I put my name down anyways and kept checking with the staff if anything would open up at the bar for 3 people I would take it. After just 15-20min wait 3 seats cleared at the bar and we were able to be accommodated- yay! Food came relatively fast and it was super yummy. Portions are huge so next time I would share. We had the egg hashnrown plate, the smoked salmon Benny plate and kids egg plate with hashbrown. Food was very tasty and staff was friendly. Their drip coffee hit the spot. The only thing I didn't like was seeing drug addicts right outside the restaurant who could be seen when you wait for the bathroom. I felt very uncomfortable for my daughter to witness this which seemed very common all over Seattle. Coming from Oakland we had not seen this around so it was bit shocking.

There are so many cafes I want to try but Glo's caught my eye with their delicious looking menu options. I got the eggs Benedict with ham and the portions were very generous. The ham was monstrous and tasted really good. I also really like the caffe latte with oatmilk which tastes pretty good. No need to add any sugar! Shout out to Rachel who was really nice and sweet. Made me feel so comfortable and she seemed really passionate with her job. Since I was eating alone I sat in front of the kitchen which was pretty relaxing and fun to watch.

Delicious Nicholas and Eggs Blackstone. They have an optional Aardvark habanero sauce that is awesome. Friendly service with a huge kitchen crew. Really nice new location. Street parking. Two non-gender specific restrooms.

Good place to get brunch and breakfast food around Seattle. Good service, the food was good, nothing spectacular, the hashbrowns were a bit too salty too. I'd come back and try their pancakes!

Yes it is very small but they could fit a group of 5. Not sure if you can make reservations. We went on a Friday morning 10 AM and waited 30 minute...

Does your whole party have to show up at once for you to get a place in line?

Only one needs to be there to put name on list but everyone must be present to be sat.

    Is there parking?

    Nope, only street parking.

Does Glo's serve mimosas during brunch?

No, they do not serve alcohol at all.

It's more like a little dessert stand located on the restaurant's patio area, with only a few outdoor tables available. The soft serve was okay, but not as creamy as I was hoping for, and it melted pretty quickly. If you decide to add a syrup flavor, I'd recommend asking for only a small amount. Mine came absolutely drowning in syrup, and honestly, the flavor tasted pretty artificial and overpowering.

I had a few questions because I couldn't decide what to order, and everyone was friendly and helpful - I was even able to add corn flakes to my matcha soft serve (which isn't listed on the menu), so it was nice to know I could customize it to my liking! The matcha tiramisu was the best I've had, and the hojicha latte with oat milk was just right. The flavor was nice and strong without being overpowering. Everything I had here truly stood out! I liked the variety on the menu and all of the different options. - it's extensive and you could find anything for everyone. It's one of the more memorable matcha spots I've been to, and I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm in Seattle. If you love matcha like I do, definitely add this place to your list. Thankfully they are open today on the Fourth of July (they will just close a little earlier for the holiday), and I was happy to see that not much has changed since my last visit. Without even realizing it, I ended up ordering the exact same drink I got the first time: a Matcha Float with mochi. I guess you really can't go wrong with it because it's still just as creamy and satisfying as I remembered. The only tiny downside is that it only comes with three small mochi balls, so for almost $9 I wish there were a few more. However, the quality of the matcha is consistently excellent, sooo I don't regret coming back. They have wonderful customer service too! The employee helping me at the register was incredibly patient while I stood there trying to decide what to order. As an awkward introvert, I always feel a little flustered when ordering, but she never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable. She asked my sweetness preference for the Matcha Float, whether I wanted to dine in or take everything to go, and even carefully packed up my yuzu green tea packet with the rest of my order. She was very kind and thoughtful so just wanna say I really appreciate how welcoming she was. Even from my last Seattle visit two years ago, I still remember the employees being helpful and friendly here. I also have to recommend their desserts from my previous visit. (I skipped the sweets this time due to my budget but I still suggest picking up some of their sweets!). The Matcha Basque Cheesecake and the Matcha Tiramisu were both absolutely delicious, and I still remember how amazing they tasted even two years later. The tiramisu is only around $7 and is definitely worth trying if you're a matcha lover. This visit, I picked up their yuzu green tea packet to take home (last time, I got the hojicha). Each packet contains 15 individual tea bags and costs about $10 (not bad for how much tea is in each tea bag). They also sell matcha powder and other tea goodies. I'm looking forward to brewing the yuzu green tea at home since a good cup of hot tea is always comforting, especially when I'm sick (I've been recovering from a cold so tea has been a lifesaver to warm me up!). I actually stopped by for lunch since I didn't eat breakfast, and ordered the Sukiyaki Don (it was much more satisfying than I expected). I was craving a beef bowl and Nana's was one of the few places in the area within walking distance from my work, that was actually open for the holiday today, lucky me! It came with miso soup and a soft-boiled egg, and I was pleasantly surprised to find tofu and mushrooms in the bowl alongside the beef. It left me FULL, my tummy happy, heck yeah. Costs almost $20 but worth satisfying a craving. I won't lie.. I somehow managed to spend about $40 today between my meal, drink, and tea to take home. More than I intended to spend but no regrets, because everything was delicious and the quality has remained consistently high over the years. The only thing that made my visit a little uncomfortable wasn't the café itself. There were quite a few homeless individuals lingering around the front of the building, so I decided against dining out front like I had originally planned since I wanted to enjoy the nice weather, but one of them was panhandling me so I promptly left (thankfully I asked for my order to be packaged for takeout). That's obviously outside of the café's control, and it didn't affect the food or service at all. They still had many seats available inside but probably because it's the holiday. If I recall, the place was packed during the afternoon when I last visited on a weekday. I will still say that Nana's Green Tea continues to be one of my favorite matcha spots whenever I'm in Seattle. Between the consistently high-quality matcha, delicious meals and desserts, excellent selection of teas to bring home, and genuinely exemplary customer service, it's a place I'll happily keep returning to whenever I'm back in town and have the time to visit.
