However, right before my inspection I found out these other services could not be provided. My home inspector provided great pictures and a lot of issues were in the report. However, my home inspector missed a lot of big concerns. The electrical was all messed up and needed rewiring (not too expensive to fix but this was a missed fire hazard). The new furnace was installed incorrectly and the furnace venting was too small ($5,000 bill). The electrical outlets weren't even grounded. How does a home inspector missed that?? It literally is just putting in a cheap testing device into the outlets to check them.

My favorite part who when I got to KEEP the detailed inspection and use it to negotiate a lower price for the house from the seller. It had some unknown black mold under a crawl space that I would have never known about. Since they found it and it was in the report I found a special company to remove it before we moved in. I am so grateful we found this before moving into this house! It was a relief knowing everything in the house was ok and It was worth every penny!
