This place used to have the most amazing pistachio croissants, but now the ones that are being sold are unrecognizable. There's barely any filling. I bought 3 croissants today: one had literally JUST A DOT of pistachio filling, and the other two half of what they used to sell. Five dollars for one is not worth it ;/ read more

One of the most beautiful Italian specialty food stores and restaurants I have ever been to. The ambiance is so warm and inviting, and the food and products are fresh and very authentic Italian. I come for a meal and leave with fresh products to cook with at home. I felt like I was at a trattoria in Milan or Rome! The pastas are all freshly made and amazing, the bread is baked fresh daily and fresh burrata cheese is also made in house. They also recently added cocktails and serve a great wine list! The waiter recommended a Sicilian white wine that was delicious that he produces on his family vineyard in Sicily! Can't get more authentic than this adorable place! read more

Terrible service and ridiculous wait times. I had to wait 45 minutes for a simple sandwich when there was hardly any other customers. After I left, I realized they didn't even give me the croissant I ordered. If you're going to get food from here, I would suggest getting delivery because you could watch a full movie before your food arrives. read more

I went for dinner tonight by myself and got the gnocchi sorrentino special which was $25 and a bottle of Pellegrino. The gnocchi was very good, but the portion was shockingly small. Most of the pasta dishes are around the same price point, and I'd have to imagine they're just as small. I understand inflation blah blah, but paying $25 for a tiny dish of pasta at a sidewalk cafe (not an upscale restaurant) is excessive. Before tip, my pasta and pellegrino was $35, and I left hungry. The waiter was very nice, but it took quite a while to get the food when it wasn't that busy. I'd love to come back here, but not for those prices. read more

This shop and restaurant is such a gem! They have sandwiches and pasta for adults who eat real meals, but for the rest of us, I recommend the eggplant caponata, which is a smoky silky delicate but meaty taste of heaven, and the marinated Sicilian castelvetrano olives. Also crispy, light baguettes and salted butter. Maybe some tinned fish and marinated artichokes. I arrived too early for the mozzarella, but there's always tomorrow. A restaurant right out of Rome. Cafe by day and restaurant by night - this place had amazing ambience and even better food. We had the fried artichokes, eggplant parmesan, bucatini bolognese and vongole with squid ink spaghetti. It was all delicate and perfectly balanced. The staff could not have been nicer. Pecoraro is our new neighborhood go to. Clean, spacious and prompt service. The Milanese Panini is delicious. Mozzarella is fresh! Take it from a native, this place is legit. Looking forward to an espresso at their bar once life is normal again! read more

I love the Latteria. I am Italian and this place feels like a little home away from home. The service is great, CV19 measures are diligently observed, and I found here the best taralli I had in NY. My favourite is the focaccia with mortadella, and I often get the delicious pizza bianca and cured meats. Definitely recommended! read more

Love this place so far! The muffaletta was delicious (not exactly the same as the ones in New Orleans but who cares). It also came with a really great salad, much better than I expected for a side salad. The tiramisu was out of this world and a very generous portion. Can't wait to go back and try more! read more
