Just picked this place out of the blue. And glad we did. Excellent excellent, Customer Service, and the food was spot on. Definitely recommend.

We had excellent Santa Fe cuisine. Old property that is very shiny and clean. Friendly staff. Live music the night we visited. The trio serenaded us at our table. Reasonable prices for the quality and service. Hope to return. A wonderful restaurant for travelers and locals.

Fantastic meal - we had the Zia Combo and a top shelf skinny margarita. Excellent red chile flavor. Check this place out and you won't be disappointed.

From the outside you can't really tell it's opened. On the inside it's pretty big. The service was fast and friendly. I had the hard tacos with rice and beans and they were very delicious. Then for desert they gave me a free sopapilla. Definitely give this place a try if you are ever in Santa Fe

I had a pretty good exerience here at this restaurant which I had eaten at years ago. Staff was friendly and I got seated immediately. I ordered the ground beef stuffed sopapilla smothered with green chille and cheese which came with an additional sopapilla and honey. Overall, the stuffed sopapilla was good, but was lacking seasoning in the ground beef (tasted like just cooked ground beef with nothing added). The sopapilla was great. Overall, I had a good experience, but I prices seem to be a bit on the high sided and of course like many Santa Fe restaurants, they do not have complimentary chips and salsa (if you want to be a step above the rest, at least provide this, even the chain resturant On the Border provided it).

The Santa Fe Foodies had a dinner here (10 people), and everyone enjoyed the food. This is Mexican and a bit of New Mexican; the former offers a bit more unusual options, such as the Cazule De Marisco's, which I tried. It is like a fish stew with scallops, salmon, and shrimp in a somewhat spicy broth. Very good, I've never had anything like it in town. My wife had the special, which was a shrimp Fajita Burrito Christmas. The chile was nice, but not the best in class (the red was a bit bland compared to others in town). The green had nice heat. We had the Flan for dessert, and it was outstanding! One of the best I've tried in town. Many restaurants here offer Flan, and it is often disappointing, but this version was delicious, with great texture and flavor. I highly recommend you try the Flan if you like this dessert. Our server, FRANCISCO, did a good job considering the large table of guests.

Came for the dessert, didn't disappoint. Also enjoyed the live music. Servers were kind.

Salmon with cream sauce and veggies. Salmon con cream y vegetables. Deliciosos.

Love love love the food, people who run it like Jorge and the ambiance. The mariachi last week was truly a vibe!

We ordered and my wife ordered a cup of Pozole with her meal not knowing that they give you a dryer version of this with the plates. The food and drinks were fantastic right down to the chips and salsa. Simlpe south west cuisine with flavors that are authentic and made with love. The menu is not extensive but you could through a dart at it and be more then happy with anything you hit. We were in Santa Fe for two days and ate at Palacio's both of them. We had a variety of their choices and absolutely loved every one. If your looking for real down home southwest fair try this place. Its like eating at Grandma's kitchen.

Palacio just Hits different, and is probably my favorite place to go for food in Santa fe. The owner and staff are outstanding, every single time. The food is always flavorful, quick and excellent.

Unfortunately I was highly disappointed by food and service. I ordered fish and shrimp taco. The food wasn't bad but it's didn't come with a side of salsa or any sort of sauce. It did comes with a side of rice which I felt was under seasoned. The service was slow. I walked in around 1pm and door was locked. I was surprised to find them close even though online says that they are open at 11am that day. I checked on google and it was suppose to be open. I called and they said that they are open but waiting for alcohol to be delivered at 3pm. Did they assume that every customer coming in is ordering alcohol? As far as I understand this is a restaurant that serves food and alcohol and not a bar. Shortly after my arrival, there was a large tour with 12 people showed up. I could see that the waiter was a bit flustered because he also had to tend to other customer as well as the tour. I guess this is where the tour take people for authentic taco experience. In my opinion these are more toned down gringo tacos. My taco didn't come with a side of sauce like everyone else. I also noticed that the tour all received a side of salsa which I didn't. I'm not sure if the waiter forgot. I had to flag down the waiter a few time because he also forgot my drink. I also ordered an agua Fresca watermelon and it wasn't made of real watermelon but flavor syrup from the bar. I wished I had known that it wasn't real melon. 2.5 stars for the food and 2 for service. Again food wasn't terrible, but certainly wasn't close to be the best.

We ordered a round of their house margarita which was delicious, a little on the tasted like mix instead of fresh side, but still good. I had the classic posole soup and tamales. The posole had a kick to it and I handle spice well so keep that in mind! That said it was delicious, very classic Southwest flavor. Tamales were also yummy.
