We love this clinic- Alexia at the front is really helpful and nice. We saw Dr. Jarman today and, as you would expect with a pediatric podiatrist, he helped keep my daughter calm and happy during her appointment. We've been here for other issues in the past- each visit has been really great. We have to travel a bit to get here, it's worth the drive. They have a great toy box that the kids can select a prize from at the end of the visit- my daughter talks about this box for days lol it's really well stocked- it's the little things like this that make a sometimes uncomfortable toe issue a little easier :) thank you! read more

I got an appointment on 3/17 (I'm reviewing on 6/16) and I just got the results of the tests they performed, and I got them just because I reached out to them asking for the results. I also paid in full the bill the same day I got the appointment and I got another bill a couple of days ago saying there was a balance due. If I didn't reach out to them asking for a clarification, I'd have paid twice. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

The best podiatrist for children to "child at heart"! Dr Jarman is very knowledgeable and experienced in handling ailments of the foot and even "trouble shooting" foot pain with causes outside of the foot. This Dr is absolutely BRILLIANT! He has a fantastic bedside manner, his staff is friendly, caring, and consistently supportive in the delivery of QUALITY CARE! This practice is perfect for anything from needing simple orthotics to common procedures, and Dr Jarman has the expertise and experience in managing and treating rare disorders. My family has been patients for over 10 yrs and we have had nothing but fantastic results and no reason to not continue to expect the same amazing quality of care in the future. read more

My son was seen today and it was his first time. The staff and doctor were amazing! 10/10 experience

Our son had two ingrown toenails and they needed attention. He is autistic and had quite a bit of anxiety going into the office. The MA and Dr. Jarman took time to comfort him and explain what they'd be doing. Dr. Jarman spoke calmly and slowly, even using social stories to help him understand. The end result was, his feet feel much better and he was able to feel safe and secure at this office. Would highly recommend! read more

I am impressed by Dr. Jarman, which says a lot. My daughter and I are high maintenance. She's had numerous rare diagnoses throughout her life that require the best specialists. She has developed high anxiety about shots and IVs and that impacts how doctors need to take care of her. As for me, I can turn certain types of doctors off by my questions, involvement, and decisiveness about what's best for my child. Dr. Jarman has no problem handling challenging patients and challenging parents. He knows "his stuff" but is not proud, condescending or irritated. He gives his full attention, is personable, friendly, very knowledgeable, respectful, most pleasant, and able to clearly explain the situation and options. He diagnosed my daughter with a rare condition that required surgery. He has privileges at Banner Children's which we preferred for her rather than the surgery center. I appreciated that he was accommodating. He does care for his patients. Her recovery was slow. In part, this was due to the medical issue that required surgery, but also because her perceptions of pain (and heat) are worse than the average person feels. Dr. Jarman and his medical assistant, Rhett, were not dismissive or judgemental about our challenges at all. Dr. Jarman was ready, as always, with a plan to offer. I know that this specialist is A+ and even made an appointment for myself and referred my adult daughter to him as well! I can confidently recommend him. read more

My daughter was seen here in December for chronic foot pain. The X-ray didn't show much so we had an MRI done. Long story short we come back and he puts a cast on her foot. I am rereading the summary report and called to ask them about the MRI ... he never got the MRI and was going off the X-ray which he told is at her 1st visit NOTHING was wrong. Long story short and many back and forth calls with a lot of lies being told we took her back to have it removed. NEVER again! How do you justify putting on a cast without the results and this could have damaged her foot. Stay far away. read more

I am so glad I looked at yelp and followed my instinct for getting another opinion on my 10 year old sons wart and toe issues!! My son had large warts on the bottom of his feet. His PC and Derm both suggested cutting out the wart. In my experience from adults with this issue, the warts often come back blc it could be a matter of a persons gait or other factors. Anyway...I am so happy with Dr. Jarman and his staff. He is comforting to the patient and explained in detail all of the options. He took his time and I never felt like I had to make a decision or pressured to use one method of treatment over the other. It pays to listen to your gut especially when it comes to making decisions for our little ones!! read more

I don't even know how to put in words the care I received at my first visit!! I have been dealing with foot pain for a year after countless treatments and even topaz surgery and missing all together 3 months of work, I decided to get a second opinion! Now I feel there is a light at the end of the tunnel and I can finally have my life back soon as a healthy 38 year old women! The doc also had me research what he thinks maybe the issue and I love that! Turns out he is right and brought me to tears to know that I can be treated and end most of my pain and not continue on a path of treatments that never worked! Highly impressed with this office. Received a call from their office immediately after our insurance approved the visit and was able to get scheduled within the week. Waited about 30 min after our scheduled appointment time before being called back, but staff was attentive and engaging. Once we were in the exam room and met Dr Jarman it made sense why the office was running a bit behind. Dr Jarman is very thorough and took his time explaining all options to us. He went above and beyond with our child to ease her anxiety with the procedure. read more

I took my son here because he was having foot problems. I should have went somewhere else. My son and I waited in the waiting room for an hour and 20 minutes to see the doctor! When the doctor finally came in he seemed nice enough. The receptionist said she will call us in 7 to 10 days when we hear back from the insurance. I don't understand why it would take that long. I have 2 insurance's and I could call them right now and probably get an answer. So that was my second red flag. I call back after 7 days and the receptionist says we haven't heard back yet. WTH So I hung up and looked for another doctor and I found Dr. Simmons on higley and Ray. He is a great doctor and very professional. He saw my son within 5 minutes of being there and called the insurance while we were still in the office and got an answer right away!!! Dr Simmons is the best!!! BTW the office still has never called and it's been over a month!!! read more

I am super disappointed with the front office staff. The doctor was amazing but when you have to go through the front staff in order to get to the doctor it is not worth it. I will not be going back as I feel they are not professional and are extremely rude and under educated on how insurance works. read more

While walking Knotts Berry Farm baby girl checks out early and that has us parents puzzled: she usually goes for hours! Appears baby girl got an ingrown toenail and mommy missed it. So, immediately I start looking for doctors we can see upon our return to Arizona. I used ZocDoc and found a Pediatric Podiatrist with a high rating and booked the first available. So we live in North Scottsdale and this office is in Gilbert. I did not care: we need to get baby girl better! I am SO GLAD we made the almost hour drive! What an amazing welcome with a little sign that says "welcome new patients," insert your name! OK so the wait was long but these guys are specialists and I get it. I want the same attention too. Turns out we got it. Our doc, Mikkel Jarman, was amazing. Very fun, sweet but professional bedside manner with kiddos that made the pain go by a lot faster; including making sure mommy was OK, too. Afterwards they have a treasure chest (legit treasure chest) with treats inside for the littles' post-procedure....very nicely done to help ease and distract the minds of little ones and reward them. Several days later baby girl is doing so well and wow am I grateful for such good practices like these!!! read more
