Preferred foot and ankle specialists were very hospitable. They were great with my 10 year old son. They provided prompt treatment.

Loads of the pain doctors I consulted with immediately assumed I was looking for pain medications, when in fact I wasn't. Also many talked down to me, with one who was highly recommended by another Doctor acquaintance explaining that my body, being in somewhat advanced years, is similar to a car aging. Okay, enough venting, but to make it short, I couldn't find relief with any others. The last, who advertises on TV quite often, said the site of the injection was so closed it was impossible to give me an injection there and gave a caudell (sp?), which is just a hit or miss injection at the base of the spine. It missed! I only happened to run into Dr. Stone when he took space at my Cardiologist's office. Either way I was so cautious and almost gave up on doing so many activities that I was ready to give up on getting any help on my many different spinal issues. But I figured one more chance since I love my Cardiologist and I didn't think that his personal character would allow him to lease to a mediocre physician. I met with Dr. Stone expecting more of the same disappointments I have had with all others. I left in complete shock. First, he is one of the easiest people, not just a Doctor, with whom to talk. He also explained that his training is different than many other pain Doctors. Most in the pain field are Anethesiology trained. Whereas he is a Physiatrist (check it out). He specifically works with pain. He also said he was certain he could get the injection in the site that was previously deemed impossible. Okay, I don't want to drag this on. But he did get the injection in and relieved my pain immediately. All I can say after 2 years my sciatica is mostly gone, I have greater movement without pain and I have a punctual doctor who I can not only have a conversation but with one who can relieve pain.

After the first visit, I felt so much better. It was not a fancy office, but my pain relief was what mattered. I am glad I found my way there. It is hard to find health practitioners you can trust and feel comfortable with.

Every single person who works here has treated me with respect and has demonstrated a commitment to figuring out what to do to return me to fully functioning. At one point I hadn't been able to walk unassisted for over two years due to lower leg and ankle injuries and a surgery, and now I'm fully able to do that. I also have had a number of back issues including a fractured vertebrae and age related disc deterioration. It's amazing the amount of pain relief and return to normal functioning I've achieved due to the treatment here. The approach here each session includes personalized manual therapy and manipulation (so much more in terms of time and effectiveness than other offices) and a personalized exercise program, with attention paid to comfort level, correct implementation, and increased improvement. They provide take home illustrations to support continuing at home progress. They are skilled in Graston and needling therapies and I've seen patients ranging from teens to their 90s, with a wide range of challenges in their office, and everyone has been receiving personalized attention. I recommend them to all of my friends and family in need of physical therapy. Thank you Eric, Jason, Cris, Lyndsey, Ashley, and your front office staff! You are all amazing and so appreciated!

I could hear the front desk staff discussing how the Dr took the wrong patient and should have called my name instead, thus resulting in me waiting until 8:40am to be called and taken back. The Dr did apologize for not seeing me on the schedule. However, This set back made me late for work, and I do not appreciate this. I received much better care at the Gilbert location.

The therapy helped a lot but I eventually needed surgery. I just finished therapy with Vince after surgery. He is the best! He is very professional, kind, and knowledgable. Not only that, but the other people that are at Foothills are always kind, caring, friendly and extremely helpful! I highly recommend Vince and will never go any other place if I need physical therapy again!

At the end of my therapy session they iced my knees connected to some device. This was supposed to last 15 minutes. 43 minutes later one of the ice bags falls on the floor and one of them came to put it back. I then asked if that was supposed to be that long and he said no. They said they didn't hear the timer. This is was over staffed at the time and there were more clients than employees. I was really mad to fact that they didn't care. They were too busy talking amongst themselves or watching tv. They really don't care. I will never go back and will talk to my physician whom highly recommended this place. What a disappointment. Lack of senior staff that understands that people have other commitments and they should value my time and my health.

My 9yr old daughter Lena was injured, her right ankle was dislocated. This happened in June 2019…read moreand she was put in a cast twice because her foot turned in. She was unable to walk, was in constant pain and was using a wheelchair. When her cast came off we attended Foothills and Lindsay started to work with my daughter. At first it was hard. My daughter resisted because of the nerve pain around her ankle. Lindsay was understanding but encouraging and she didn't let my kid slack. She set goals for my daughter, she asked questions and got to know her. Lindsay used all of her knowledge and explained things in a way my daughter could understand. My daughter finally got why she was being challenged, and she decided to want to be active in her recovery insted of fighting it because of the pain. Lindsay was great at finding ways to get Lena to allow her to touch her ankle, and in the pain she was in that was a big deal! Linsay has a way of listening to her, acknowledging her but still finding a way to encourage Lena to try. Lena loves Lindsay, she looks forward to her PT. In few months Lena went from wheelchair to crutches. Carlos worked with her and he got her to move by being creative, and playing balloon toss! Lena started putting weight on her foot becauseof that game...then a few more weeks of PT she allowed us to put on her brace. The first time she walked with Lindsay I cried, because it had been so long in that wheelchair and I was relieved that they were able to help her. She's getting better everyday. Now she's walking and doing lunges and jumping, balancing, pushups, dancing! She wears her brace, but soon she will be back to normal with no brace. Thanks to Lindsay, Carlos, Daniel, and the rest of the staff that is so fun and friendly. From the reception staff, to all the therapists. All are welcoming and they care. If you want results, and a place where you are made to feel welcomed and comfortable then go to Foothills Sport Medicine PT.

I paid almost $300 for an initial assessment. I waited painfully in the waiting room seeing the staff talking amongst themselves while they were doing treatments. One staff member was using the patient machines. My assigned physical therapist finally came to greet me 20 minutes after my appointment start time. He looked me over for about 5 minutes then put me onto exercises. The whole time I was doing them, he was talking personal patient information with another staff member right in front of me. He wandered around chattering with the other staff. Not paying any attention to me to see if I was doing my exercises correctly or needed guidance. Even while he was massaging my back I could see him gesturing to another staff member while I was talking to him. I paid good money to come get one on one care to improve my acute back pain, to only receive the complete opposite. I ended up canceling all my future appointments to go to a different facility. The receptionist was so kind when I called to cancel that I didn't have the heart to tell her the real reason I didn't want to return. I was going to let it be. Then I received an additional bill stating I owed more money for that absolutely terrible assessment! I couldn't believe it. It saddens me to see that this is an acceptable level of care and service at this facility by licensed practitioners. I hope the managers see this and try to improve for any future pain suffers that may come to your facility.
