My son is a Marine and has lived in Fallbrook for about a year and a half. He usually comes home, but this time I drove back with him to spend a couple days. I have never in my life desired a fish taco, and in fact have been repulsed by the idea of them. I'm not a fan of "fishy" taste. However, once there, he made me get one, swearing that I was going to love it. I was fully prepared to not like it, and in fact was going to fake it to him because he wanted me to like it so bad. Lol. Omg one bite and I was HOOKED!!! What a most delicious piece of food!! The thing for me was, it didnt taste "fishy"!! I enjoy fish when its cooked right, but just find that it rarely is, for me. This was so good. Tasted like heaven!! I didnt even realize that it was top rated, but as we were leaving, my son showed me all the neat reviews they have posted, and I have to admit, its well deserved. He did warn me though, I'll never like another fish taco anywhere else, now that ive started with the best. My ONLY complaint is that the soda refills arent free. Who does that anymore!? This is my go-to local fast food joint, and someplace that I recommend to anyone who wants restaurant quality Mexican food on the go! It may not look like much from the outside, but don't let its humble appearance fool you! For just a little more than what you would spend at a major fast food chain, you can get fantastic quality tacos, burritos, and more! I would highly recommend the fish tacos, which can easily compete with any that I've had at pricier sit-down establishments. I miss Pedro's Tacos. When I was living in Fallbrook I would regularly go to the Oceanside and Fallbrook locations for breakfast. The breakfast quesadilla with steak, cheese and eggs was one of my favorites. I would also get the fish tacos some mornings because they are so good. read more

Every since Rubio's decided to go chain wide and in the aftermath ruined their fish tacos, I have been on the prowl for another good fish taco joint. I found it, Pedro's fish tacos were filled with deep fried chunks of fish covered with thin strips of cabbage, leafs of cilantro, a creamy sauce and a slice of lime. Loved that it was all wrapped in a two warm tortilla comforter, nice. They have a mini-salsa bar filled with green, red and pico de gallo sauces., but my fave was the jalapeno and carrots bowl, nice. I tried the carne asada taco, think I will stick to the fish. Over all a great meal for a fantastic price. read more

Pedros may be the best Mexican food shop in Southern Californina! I grew up in Pacific Beach going to Albertors, Roybertos, Los Dos Pedros, etc.... and this place beats them all! The Carne Asada Burrito, Combo Burritio, Fish Tacos, Grilled Chicken Tacos, are amazing. What makes their Carne Asada so good is the combination of spices they use in their meat. The prices are very reasonable and consistant across all items. If you are in Fallbrook, stop here. The shop in San Clemente is just as good. read more

I've eaten at Chipotle and many other taco places but this little hole in the wall is fantastic! I love the Carne asada burrito with cheese, or the three rolled tacos. It's so delicious and wonderful! I crave it all the time! Definitely recommend! read more

This is GARBAGE!!!!!! I ordered a carne asada taco and the meat was definitely NOT carne asada. Carne asada means Grilled beef, this was beef that turned gray because it's kept warm for hours letting the juices run out of it and it was chopped up like it was for stew not a taco. What they consider "salsa" was runny slimy old chopped tomato slopped on the gray matter they call carne asada, the tortilla was the cheapest quality as it fell apart as soon as I grabbed the taco. And why squeeze this gray beef, rotten tomato taco so tight in foil that it's steamed into a mush by the time you unravel it? This is a shame. I guess it's because I'm Mexican and expect a real carne asada taco. Not to mention that fact that I noticed no one was cooking anything, it just got pulled out of containers and and put in a tortilla. Yuk! If your expecting a real Carne asada taco don't go here. read more

I'm a pretty fan of the fish taco and fish burrito. The Carne Asada Burrito isn't really my style. Wrong Cheese, wrong steak I think. I've probably been to this location about 40 times this year. Every now and then i'll hit the one in San Clemente and it doesn't come NEAR as good as Fallbrook. Oceanside location is a close second to Fallbrook. I've only been let down once in that 40 or so times when they gave me my fish and taco burrito dry without any sauce. For fish tacos and fish burritos, this place SMOKES rubios. read more

This is the best place! I went here after school in high school multiple times a week. Now that I live away from Fallbrook, I crave their food! I'm a fan of the bean, rice, and cheese burrito (add guac). I also love their potato tacos. Using both kinds of hot sauce is a must as well. Yum! I also really like the people who work there. Been coming here for 6 years. For my money, the best fish and shrimp burritos around. And reasonable. I think the secret is in their sauce plus always lots of fresh crunchy cabbage. Very clean and a great outdoor seating area. Just wish they had a public bathroom. But Joe's Hardware is right next door and can use theirs. read more

I've been eating at Pedro's for years down in San Clemente and it was something I love to look forward to after a morning session of surfing. This last trip, I accidently found the Fallbrook one and never saw Christines mistake before. Wow was this a great burrito. Living in LA it's going to be hard to get here, but my next trip to SD I'll have to stop and try some of the other things that are new! read more

For fast food that is Mexican, this place is delicious. I love their hot sauce, I try to get extras so I can have some at home. Their guacamole is one of my favorites, since it has no tomatoes and tastes delicious. Anything you get here will be better than any fast food that is Mexican. The only bummer about this place is that they only take cash. But everything else is wonderful! read more

First time at Pedro's. We ordered the shrimp burrito, and were very disappointed by the lack of shrimp. To start, the burrito was smaller than you would expect from any decent taco shop in Southern California. With the amount of competition, you would think they would step up their game! The burrito is mostly comprised of mayo and cabbage. Maybe three shrimp in the whole burrito. Oh, and they don't make their own salsa, which is also subpar for the taco shops in the area. For a "fast food" drive thru restaurant, this place is LEGIIIIIIIIIIIT! The shrimp burrito...mmmmmm.....so yummy. The white sauce is so good. I could drink it. The fish tacos are out of this world and the carne asada is delish! My kids liked the cheese quesadilla and the mild salsa. I am stoked that they are located in Fallbrook, which makes it super dangerous for us, because we're lazy and I'm sure we'll be eating here several times over. Super yummy. Check it out. read more

The rolled tacos were awesome! Will be back soon for sure! Took care of my craving for spicy food right away. We've tried other places in Oceanside that weren't very good and we're way over priced but this was wonderful with price and quality. read more
